Major issues with the Aircon

Location. Staff. Clean.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Strange step up to the shower, toilet and sink. Controls for the sink were on the wall and wierd to use.

Great brunch before checking in, close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops for a day out. Staff were very friendly and got a room upgrade on arrival. Lovely room with all amenities and very comfy bed. Great hotel with cool vibe. Would recommend

Location of hotel was good for my purposes. Airco was very quiet. Front desk very helpful.

Room was not cleaned during my stay as cleaning personnel turned up in the late afternoon when I was in the room. Times of cleaning were not communicated.

Really unique and comfortable.

The late night staff working at the desk in the original building was pretty unhelpful and rude. She was on her phone and wouldn’t look up to help multiple people.

I loved the artsy-ness of it all, the bedbug in the room was absolutely adorable; and the bed (from the sheets to pillows) was wonderful. The gardens were beautiful, and the hospitality was above expectations, so kind and friendly!

The fridge was a little poor (not very cold) and there wasn’t coffee within the room.

The hotel was beautiful (I’m an interior designer), so loved the location, and the staff was the best. Great recommendations, and so caring! Special mention to Victoria who took great care of us!

It was extremely dirty Like the bathroom door looking like it was never cleaned The soap dispenser had some yellow stuff on it as I arrived Extremely disgusted with everything It's misleading that I thought it was owned by drake Felt scammed Dryer bag was black with mold Bedsheets had green stain

The bar was great as we were are large group and it’s quirky design.

The rooms are extremely small and we were forced to upgrade to a larger room and still didn’t fit. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with significant amounts of luggage or attending a wedding as no where it hang anything to place items.

It had such a cool vibe, the beds were so comfortable, the staff was helpful, and we had an amazing breakfast on the rooftop!!

We ran out of shampoo and conditioner.

Cool style and excellent restaurant. Rooms are stylish with all the necessities and comfortable beds!

Great hotel!

Beautiful decor and lots of entertainment

The hotel itself is beautiful but it’s the staff and events that really make this place stand out. From check-in to check out the staff were all amazing. They helped us navigate the city and provided excellent recommendations for local places to visit.

No complaints here, everything was awesome!

Cool vibe

I think it was overpriced and not enough amenities, for $600+ I expected a fridge for example.

Trendy. Good location. Lots of options for snacks and drinks in room. Something different. Cool art around hotel. Clean space.

Very small for price. Very cramped and cluttered feel. Loud fan and people in next room were loud. Front desk girl with the aqua hair was very rude. No parking available. Toilet didn’t flush. No smart tv/ poor quality tv/ no Netflix available. Not helped with bags. Toilet was right beside bed and offered very little/ no privacy if you are staying with another person

Location good. Staff was nice. Dirty outside. ok security.

They did not service the room. No parking on site. Price was outrageous. No amenities.

The art was beautiful and fun. The bed was comfortable

It was extremely expensive for a very small room. The shower door did not close all the way so a large area of the bathroom got very wet when the shower was in use. The sink was clogged and backed up when you use the faucet.

The front desk reception people were excellent. Extremely personable and helpful. The staff in the café and downstairs bar worked very hard. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.

The music on the 2nd floor was WAY to loud from morning until late night/ early morning. There were also issues with our a/c the first night. Thankfully, the front desk clerk was able to transfer us to another room for the 2nd. Unfortunately, it was closer to the lounge.

Very different and unique in a good way! Would love to go back again

No fridge in room

My husband and i were very happy with our stay at the Drake. the staff where friendly and facilities were excellent. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend the Drake to others.

Location is excellent, food in the restaurant was delicious. reception staff were very pleasant but not well informed about timings etc.

Breakfast was on more than one occasion not served when publicised. This disrupted our day. Our room was not serviced daily even when requested. The manager George was attentive answering emails etc when we were resident but has failed to respond subsequently

The room was very small to fit a couple. There were no mini-fridge, which we requested and was brought to the room. There was a renovation going with a lot of noise early in the morning and during the day. You can hear everything that happen in the hallway and from the other rooms.

Such a unique and beautiful hotel. Absolutely loved the decor and art. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The complimentary cocktail in the lounge was a delicious treat! Definitely will be back!

Stylish rooms that are well stocked. Plenty of options to eat and drink at the hotel and around it.

Loved the art all around the hotel. Loved the eclectic vibe and feel all around the hotel including the room.
