This five-star hotel is located on 17 Quai du Mont Blanc in the Paquis area of the city. The hotel is excellently located near the city’s most important and fascinating buildings, and it also offers a proximity to major transportation systems. A warm welcome on the banks of Lake Geneva
Fantastic lakeside location, easy walk / boat road to main downtown area, restaurants and train station.
The service level is very high - staff were super helpful throughout, in a friendly rather than officious way. They were proactive, and requests were dealt with very quickly.
Rooms are "grand" and spacious.
I found the bed uncomfortable, and on 2 or 3 occasions we had problems with our plumbing - toilet was running and we couldn't flush it. On the first occasion, someone came very quickly and resolved it, on subsequent occasions it eventually resolved itself.
It's expensive, but not out of line for that class of hotel in GVA.

excellant service!
the service was great! we were only there for one nite but found the valet was very helpful, the front desk walked us through getting around town and recommended a great restaurant. we also loved the complimentary welcome champagne delivered to the room. all in all a very well run hotel with nice extra touches.
the room was maybe smaller, and we had an upgraded room with a small couch, then we expected but it was a decent size for a city hotel room and fine for one or two nites.

Since the are not with LHW it’s a bit weird. They make everything difficult for nothing. The communication, I was told I got an email but I never did receive any email. And then she said via booking.com I went to check and there was nothing. Booking.com can confirm that. I guess I love the hotel to be back there

This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the lake with excellent facilities and charming staff.
Breakfast was excellent---you can have anything you want.
Staff are very professional and charming.
Cupboard space in the dressing area was limited.

The staff team at Hotel Angleterre is outstanding! So professional, attentive, courteous ensuring visitors enjoy a fabulous 5* experience in keeping with the ambience of this superb waterfront hotel. The rooms are huge, impeccable and tastefully decorated with ‘turn down’ service. Breakfast was a delicious feast offering the best of Switzerland, while enjoying the wonderful vista of Mont Blanc, Geneva & the Lake. What a find! We simply can’t wait to return. Huge thanks to all the staff for such a fantastic stay!

Hotel staff / concierge made us feel very warm and welcome, and were always smiling and ready to lend a hand.
Will only ever stay here if we ever return to Geneva.
Location is amazing, as it is on the doorstep to the city and is directly opposite the fountain
