Zara Continental Hotel, Budapest

The hotel was great location for me for city exploration and also for work travels. I would stay here again for sure. I also liked the spa facilities.

Only one remark - would be so great if the shower was bigger - there is indeed enough room in the bathroom to have a walk in / larger shower trey... that would be a great improvement.

Stunning building

Since I was traveling with my young child, I did thorough research to find the right hotel. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean and safe. I had a pleasant and secure stay with my child.

Beautiful hotel with the friendliest staff. Great rooms, wonderful rooftop pool. Centrally located for walking distance to most attractions.

There were no issues on our stay. Certain that the staff would have addressed any. They are very attentive when needed.

Great value for your money. Cool architecture and breakfast. Nice pool and sauna. Easy parking. Great restaurant. Friendly staff.

Actually i liked everything but it would be perfect if there was any possibility to check-in earlier cause our flight was really early and it was kind of tiring, it’s not a big deal for everyone but if anyone also has early flight as us book one more night not to have any difficulties

It was in a quiet location in a busy part of Pest. Very easy to get to wherever you wanted on foot or using public transport. Hotel was immaculate, and rooms spacious and very clean. We opted not to eat in the hotel as so much going on outside but we did have a drink in the bar it was lovely. The staff are attentive but leave you to do your own thing.

Honestly, there was nothing I didnt like.

This bed — folks, let me tell you, it’s the best bed. People come up to me, they say, ‘Sir, I’ve never seen a bed like this, nobody’s ever seen anything like it.’ It’s strong, it’s luxurious, and it’s comfortable — perfect for sleepy people, like Sleepy Joe, believe me. The mattress? Tremendous. You lie down, you don’t just sleep, you win at sleeping.

No soy milk at breakfast

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the place is very grand, clean and well kept. It is a very close walk to everything that we wanted to see or needed.

SPA & Wellness area!!! Very relaxing, great view. It’s on the rooftop and although the open area swimming pool was already closed by 25.09.2025, you can still spend time on the terrace. Sauna is very small (5-6 people is max), but it wasn’t crowded when we came, so it was OK for us. Beautiful hotel, nice room! Great breakfast 😍 Very good location also! We used an app BudapestGo for the public transportation, easy and convenient way how to explore city on your own. Even how to get to/from airport ( ~5.70 EUR single ticket for bus nr. 100E)

The hotel is beautiful, clean and spacious. Very impressed with all the facilities and the location.

The breakfast was not really to my taste but that was the only downside for me.

All the staff on the front desk were brilliant no problems when you asked them for tourist information they were always helpful but explained everything thing and also expanded on what you asked the doormen were grate very friendly and full of information they were worth 5 stars 🌟

There was a taxi strike where all taxis drove round the city slowly for 12hours grid locking the city to a halt all public transport was affected and hop on buses all late and missing pick up stops would have liked the hotel to warn us about it as the first you know about it was when you went neer main roads.

Beautiful Ottoman design and feel to the foyer.Room was 5 star and bathroom stunning.Sumptuous breakfast and excellent staff.

Very quiet and great hotel. The building is great inside, despite it looks old from the outside. Very well refurbished. The location is excellent, a few hundreds meters away from a main bus stop and the underground. Wellness area available with a good offering.

Room is rather small compared to the hotel rating but it's ok for a short stay. Breakfast choice is fair. The transfer from airport was included in the price... I do not recommend it: not professional at all (unprofessional attitude), texting while driving, crossing white lanes... So definitely not a 4* service.

The staff were an absolute delight - everyone was so friendly and helpful. It really added to our enjoyment of the holiday and to feeling secure exploring the city. We felt like we had a 'home' to come back to, and a lovely mezzanine bar in which to enjoy a cocktail before retiring each night. We stayed at the hotel for dinner on the first night and it was excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower consistently warm (not a given at many hotels!) and the cleanliness immaculate.

Perhaps a little more cheese in the morning - most mornings it was gone before I could get there! And some fresh orange juice would be superb. Other than that, the only regret was that we were having so much fun we didn't get the chance to use the indoor pools! Next time we shall be sure to do so!

There was a rooftop spa with swimming pool indoor and outdoor and sauna. The breakfast was very delicious and huge selection.

Rather small room, style rather than substance. The shower doors didn't close properly so the bathroom floor got soaked. The shower was small compared to a vast bed. The bathroom radiator was not on, swimwear couldn't be. dried. 4 nights 3 spas visited and no drying facilities, brought a change of swimwear but still had to wear it damp. Too soft bed. Sheets not changed after 3 nights and making the bed consisted of smoothing the duvet over a crumpled bottom sheet. Coming back at night and having to make my bed (cant sleep on badly crumpled bedding) marred my stay.

Nice hotel with clean rooms. Our room was not very big but fine. Good breakfast but very busy, warm food somewhat cold later in the breakfast period.

The relax area was somewhat disappointing. The area was small and not very relaxing. And the outdoor pool was 20C - not warmed as advertised. The indoor pool wa 27C.

The manager very kindly upgraded our room to a suite as "guests of the day" The breakfast buffet was one of the best selections we've ever had, the staff were very helpful and attentive and the spa facilities on the top floor were excellent. All in all, great value for such a high quality hotel.

I booked this hotel for my parents and they were very happy with the location. They liked everything, the foyer is nice; this hotel used to be an old bathhouse and you can see those finishes when you enter-- very tasteful simple renovations throughout.

Breakfast was extraordinary, also the cleanliness and the staff. Restaurant staff was also super helpful and friendly.

For a hotel gym it was ok, but the air condition in the gym was non existent so the workout wasn’t very pleasant, outdoor and indoor pools are nice but a bit crowded. For someone who doesn’t have a problem with that it should be fine.

Not enough teabags and milk left in room. Everything else was good.

The Hotel was first class , the position within the city was within easy walking distance of most attractions. The Hotel itself is stunning inside and staff were lovely too .

*The room was very small, even with an upgrade to the luxury room. We received a corner room, very small. So it was actually not needed to pay for an upgrade *At 10pm the smoking lounge is closed and if you want to smoke after 10 you need to stand on the street. Smoking area should be open at all times

I really liked the greeting a the staff member who took the bags to our room. Gave us a warm welcome and explained all about the area providing us with recommendations. The Bed was also incredible! Super comfy.

Breakfast felt a little hectic and cramped. Felt as though the tables were too close together.

I loved the breakfast how various it was. Nice !!!
