- The room was very nice, floor-to-ceiling windows and nice view - Excellent food from the restaurant Gemma - Calm inside the hotel - Friendliness of staff (except one as below) - Location (close distance to many hotspots)

- Room was not ready on arrival at 4.30 pm (issues with AC or/and electricity) - Rude attitude of one receptionist (very shot guy): at the checkin he snatched the complimentary bottle of champagne that was in our room (I got into the room at the time he was leaving it). Totally unacceptable. We did not say anything as we don't need this kind of "cheap gifts". But the behaviour is unprofessional - Despite the location being prime, there were few homeless people in the streets; one of them came too close to my partner. I guess most of Manhattan is like this so extra precaution is required (not walking late by night or taking the metro) - No shower handle - not convenient when you don't want to wash your hair every day nor put that plastic thing around your head - Absence of storage/drawers in the bathroom

I left some medication and things in the room when I checked out. the staff emailed me to try to get it to me!

The Bowery was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail was really amazing and I’d recommend it to anybody.

We had an amazing stay at the Bowery Hotel. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. Room service was delicious and prompt. We had just gotten married earlier in the day and the hotel had arranged to have champagne waiting in our room for us which made us feel so special. We met friends for celebratory drinks in the hotel that evening and the cocktails were amazing and the environment was excellent. Lively and cool without being over-done or too loud.

The Bar downstairs needed a happy hour/bites section. We ended up ordering the pizza which was great but really wanted some appetizers with our drinks.

We loved the location and decor. The staff was all incredibly nice.

When we arrived at 2:55 (check-in was at 3) they said we’d have to come back later to check in. When our room had an AC leak it took several trips to the front desk to finally move us to a different room.

The bear on the bed was strange.

The Bowery is beautiful! From the tiled walls and mosaic floors in the lobby to the beautiful, huge windows in the rooms. There was such care taken in decorating it and the care taken to maintain it and keep it looking fresh is evident. Also, best shower ever!

Zero complaints.
