I love the access to the street walk, it was convenient for night life.

The extra parking fees, and having to pay $50 damage fee even though it’s refundable. Those fees are hidden.

The hotel itself was great! Staff was friendly, and helpful.

There is no parking. We parked in public parking for one night (within view of the hotel). Our car window was smashed even though nothing was in our car. Would not stay again due to having to use public parking.

The bed was hard, the shower had low pressure, and our view sucked.

Beautiful property. Rooms were cozy and cute. Loved the decor and and how the rooms were designed. Nice rooms

We were on the 5th Floor. We chose The Ellis because of the paranormal aspect and the history. The Ellis was the hotel that had the most deaths in a hotel fire in the history of America; over 119 people perished in the hotel. Yet there needs to be a memorial or history section of the hotel. The souls are but forgotten. The fire was so destructive that it instilled FIRE and BUILDING CODES. I think some kind of recognition should be given to those that lost their lives.

Overall the hotel felt dirty. The rooms were humid and stuffy, the valet was way overpriced, and it took forever to give the car to the Valet. This is a MARRIOT; I expect a little bit better service for the price.

The location is awesome, the room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Antoinette at the front desk was so kind, friendly, personable, and professional.

There was some hair in the bathroom floor that hadn’t been adequately vacuumed up before we checked in.

Everything. This place is a great. Clean, updated, super comfortable beds. The staff is top notch. They have a mini store on site with essentials plus some.

The only thing and understandable to some extent was their bistro. They are short staffed which bc of the employee having an emergency they had to close early.
