The Staff are excellent nothing was to hard for them and they were always very cheerful.

A Small fridge in the room would be good apart from that nothing ..

The stay was great, staff was super friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful.

The tv didn't work on the last day, not sure why, but also maybe it could be fixed and I didn't ask

I really enjoy boutique hotels, and this one didn't disappoint. The entire interior is stylish and very clean. The staff are reliable and attentive to every detail. The location excellent.

The building is old and in some places the traces of time are visible. Breakfast is a bit monotonous but sufficient.

The property is small and beautiful in a great neighborhood. Many exceptional local restaurants within 10 minute walks. The breakfast is terrific and the other guests are very social and very engaging. We stayed in one of the two upgrade rooms on the main floor--well worth it.

We didn't like having to check out and head home.

Amazing top floor room with a private balcony. The served breakfast, is varied and tasty. The staff does everything to make your stay pleasant, they efficiently organize transfers to the airports, tours and help with anything neede. A real gem in the city of BA.

Very nice, old house converted to a B&B. Our room was large, had old furniture, not in the best shape. Staff was very nice and always helpful. They offer a very helpful laundry service. Breakfast was cooked to order off a small menu, bacon and eggs or a few other choices. The location seemed good as there are restaurants in walking distance in the Palermo area. Would recommend.

Fix the shower door in our room that closes into the tub, fix the door on hte hutch so it can be closed.

I had a wonderful room with a big balcony from which you coul enjoy the rather quite street live. But the best thing: This has been the hotel with the most helpful and lovliest staff, I have ever been! Thank you! And the breakfast is amazing as well. :)

Rooms are large and quite comfortable. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great. I stayed here twice, initially for 4 nights and then for one night on the way back through BA.

I don't see the point of having a safe that can literally be picked up and taken away and that's too small for a laptop. The rooms could do with a fridge. I'd love to see some of the wear and tear fixed - cracks in a vanity basin, bathroom bench had bits missing and just needs filling in. There was also a spot on the breakfast bench that's really uncomfortable. Minor things that didn't affect my stay or rating.

The staff were so helpful. I had booked a tango evening show but there was a problem with the booking. The staff went out of their way to resolve the problem and organise a free transport service to and from the show.

The valance on the bed looked a little past its best - a bit grubby.

I stayed at a couple of boutique hotels in Palermo during my trip to BA, and I wish that I had stayed at Magnolia longer. The hotel was clean and inviting. My room and bathroom were spacious. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive during breakfast service. Palermo is a great area to stay for dining/bars.

Only minor things, like, no tea / coffee or fridge in rooms. For breakfast they could put out drinks for self service as now you have to ask them for every juice or coffee top up, and glasses and cups are quite small. They have a lot of running back and forth to do.

All the staff were excellent! Breakfast was delicious. The room was wonderful.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Each staff member spoke English and Spanish. Breakfast is included every morning and will work around your schedule if you're leaving early for a flight or excursion. The room was big and had a shared patio with only one other room. Great location. We were able to walk everywhere.

Beautiful hotel in with lovely and friendly staff that went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even helped us with booking a last minute medical appointment! We loved the location too, much needed tranquility after exploring the city.

Beautifully furnished and designed hotel with very friendly and helpful staff in a great location in Palermo with lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance.

In winter expectedly a bit cold in the rooms, but heating worked fine.

The hotel has a stylish, calm and comfortable atmosphere. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We arrived after midnight, but there is someone on duty all the time so we were met with a friendly, quick and generous welcome. On our second night we asked for a restaurant recommendation. A reservation was made very quickly at a local restaurant, which was absolutely fabulous.

I don't typically take the time to write a review, but in this case, I have to say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our bags went missing on our flight over and they took receipt of them from the airline a week before we were back in the city. They offered a welcome coffee and drink and the breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. The concierge was 24 hrs which was a bonus when our daughters went out clubbing and arrived back in the early hours of the morning. The location of the hotel is excellent, about 5-10 mins walk to Plaza Armenia which has some lovely restaurants and Plaza Serrano for bars and night life. The rooms and beds are very comfortable.

Some noise does travel from the reception to the bedrooms. We found this was typical in a number of hotels we stayed in across Argentina.

The entrance was nondescript on the street front but behind the doors it opened up as a quiet well appointed 24 hour reception and sitting room and breakfast room. Rooms were excellent and clean. Breakfast was excellent with table service and staff were incredibly helpful and polite!! Would definitely stay again!

Bathroom pipes were noisy!

Everything! The location is great, on quiet streets of Palermo full of old buildings and trees, the place itself is every bit as good as the photos, full of that charming atmosphere of old rich Argentinian family house, complete with authentic furniture and everything. It does come with an elevator too, so you won't have to chug your suitcase up the stairs manually just for the sake of authenticity. The staff are absolutely AWESOME, great English and they've been beyond helpful at any time of day and night, with everything from booking a tango show with pickup from hotel for me to providing 11 p.m. dinner to organizing a taxi when Uber app decided it didn't want to work for me anymore. Breakfast is tasty, and the pumpkin+cheese empanadas on the menu (not part of breakfast) are forever in my heart now. My only regret is having only 3 nights in such an awesome place.

I suppose my one complaint is the door to the hotel locks when you go outside and the only way to get back inside is to call the doorbell and wait for the receptionist to open it for you. I must note I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes on that, but it just doesn't feel right to bother people every time (I felt particularly bad when I just went out then realized I forgot something and had to go right back in), seems like it'd be much more convenient to just give every guest their own key. I would also say it's a bit on pricier side (but then again , everything in Argentina seems lately...) but worth every cent in the end.

My only negative is that because the weather was cooler I couldn’t get the room warm enough with the air conditioning on heat mode.

Staff were wonderful - I injured my ankle whilst in Buenos Aires and the staff went out of their way to assist, providing advice on hospitals, arranging taxi/uber and talking to medical supplier to have foot brace delivered. They were kind and concerned to ensure we had what we required. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast freshly provided and everything exceptionally clean. Location was close to restaurants and within walking distance to subway.

Unfortunately the shower did not operate properly and only half pressure came out of shower spout and the remainder through the bath tap.

There was no bar, no hairdryer and the bathtub was difficult to get in/out of because of the inward swinging door.
