simple and nice

Very clean. Very convenient location if you want to visit the congress center. Just across the street is the S-Bahn stop "Sternschanze". Some nice bakeries, döner, shops, etc. in the proximity. Small but cosy room. No problem with noise at all, despite the windows overlooking the street and S-Bahn. Nice and friendly staff.

I missed power sockets e.g. next to the bed.

You could smell the Kebap place below in the entire hotel, the ventilation in the bathroom was super loud ( it turns on with the light and stays on after you close the light) so I didn’t want to use the bathroom in the morning when my husband was still sleeping. There was only one spare plug inthr room so charging both phones wasn’t possible. it was first floor looking directly on the street so we had to keep the dark blinds closed all the time. I also wanted to put my towel on the heater during showering and wiped the heater before it was black.

The reception staff was very kind. The room was super cute and spacious! I also loved how easy it was to find and get to from the U train station.

The rooms/doors aren’t so sound proof — Any one opening a door or walking down the hall sounded quite loud. But by playing a little white noise sound on my phone, I slept well no problem.

Beautifully decorated property in an old residential building. The room (standard double) was a bit dated though. Kettle and coffee maker as well as the balcony were a plus!

Location is just nearby the subway and a lot of restaurants and bars around. Staff was very accommodating- I asked for a check out at 11.30 instead of 11am and they accepted. Breakfast is good with a good value for money. Overall the room is well decorated and quiet, and clean

The room smelled like cigarettes, which is especially annoying when the weather is cold and you can’t really open the windows during long periods of time.

No staff on door, busy street opposite station, was worried about security. Saying that, I had no problems. Room was warm and too loud with window open.

Location

The Wifi did not work in the room. When I called to report it, I was told that I would get a call back when the problem was resolved. No one called back. I called again and asked to be moved to another room with functioning Wifi. I was told that I would get a call back, but did not. I needed Wifi for work. The complete lack of courtesy or concern on the part of staff was deplorable. The room also does not have any electric outlets close to the bed.

The personnel can not be contacted after 17 o'clock by any means. This is a remarkable limitation in my opinion. Especially when there is a real need, like in my case when they forgot to send me the codes to get into the hotel. Yeah I was left out and had to book another hotel.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Super nice and clean room with two balconies, very close to the metro, cafés, bars and restaurants. Perfectly decorated and furnished, comfortable bed, even earplugs were provided.

It was really close to the train station and in the heart of the neighbourhood, with restaurants, cafes, shops at your fingertips. The interior design of the hotel and rooms was beautiful and had a really beautiful feeling to it. The bed was really cozy and the room was very clean!

In general room was quite clear

worst was The room that we needed to change because of scaffolding right in front of the window and balcony, workers on site could look straight into our bed.. Staff changed it with worse option with no view or balcony at all for the same price! I had just one day in Hamburg and arrived late so I had no choice.. But I'm demanding for refund and can not recommend the hotel unfortunately.
