Villa Samadhi, Kuala Lumpur

A calm oasis in the centre of KL. It’s an amazing place where you wake up to birdsong. Feels like staying at a retreat. Superb pool swim able from the back of ground floor rooms. Our room had a very large plunge pool/jacuzzi which was amazing. Unusual herbal teas complimentary in the room which was incredibly spacious. Staff in restaurant were knowledgeable (special mention to waiter M N Amin) who told us about local dishes. Breakfast was a wide array of continental/Asian options. Walkable-30 mins to Petronas towers in a quiet embassy area.

The resort is wonderful, a lovely hidden gem in the center of Kuala Lumpur. A tropical paradise where you can relax after enjoying the vibrant city life. What made our stay truly special, is the outstanding kindness and service of the staff. Never before during our travels have we met a team so dedicated to creating the best experience possible, treating us as if we were a member of their own family.

Maintenance of the room needs a bit of attention.

What a great place to spend time for short staycation. I booked here as a mini honeymoon staycation because after few weeks of marriage, haven't get the chance to have honeymoon yet because of bzness with work. But I promise my wife for an awesome mini honeymoon staycation which I didn't tell where until the day itself. She was super surprised and she loved every minute of it. The location, the room, the service, the jacuzzi 😂✨ The staff were very friendly and made sure the check in process was smooth and explained everything from A to Z. The room I booked was the cheapest one but even that to me is luxurious enough with big bed, there's a balcony, big bathroom, jacuzzi, complimentary fruits, coffee and tea and a chocolate brownie too. They really excelled in making you feel like having the best time. Dinner was pretty good too. Not the best but it's adequate. I think it's because not many chef at night, so the turnover is not that fast. However, the breakfast buffet spread was super awesome! Parking is limited though, about 10 spaces. But I was lucky to be able to park inside the compound. Security will guide you what to do as you arrive at the location. Overall, Villa Samadhi is a great staycation place. It's not cheap per night. Gotta get ready money for it but it's really a nice staycation place. Strictly no kids policy because it's meant for couples and romantic getaway, which I understand what they are going for. Please keep up the vibes. I will come back again soon if got budget. Haha. Thank you for the awesome experience. My wife loved it very much. Score more points for me 😂👍

Maybe it’s just me, I couldn’t accept the wood around the room, I kept seeing white bugs I hope it’s not termites. During the night, I woke up many times cause I got bitten, not mosquitoes but just bugs and there were bumps around my arms and backs cause it was out of the blanket.

Great place, a true oasis inside city center. We had a quick dinner and it was delicious.

I think the breakfast food was average, and took a long time.

The vibe of this hotel is unlike anything in Malaysia. It was really comfortable and very Bali-like. They accommodated to our request of a honeymoon. We got complementary dessert and rose petals.

The room was excellent! The pool was excellent! The access to the pool from the room was superb! The jacuzzi inside the room was awesome! The serene surrounding was lovely!

Disappointed with the food. Tasted so and so only. I was expecting the 3-course romantic island dinner food to be superbly good, but it was just OK.

The hospitality was unmatched! The entire staff was great, special thanks to Medina for the spa experience, Amin, and Faysal from the restaurant. I wanted 1 night to relax and that is exactly what I did. The villa jacuzzi was amazing and the villa spacious and calming. I also requested an early check in and they were able to accommodate

Option for brighter lighting. Better quality toilet paper. Room 15 light bulb needs to be changed. The red tilapia inn the pond next to the guard house desperately needs clean and oxygenated water.

The design is amazing, and it is a quiet retreat in the middle of the city - which is a very interesting concept. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Environment and staff service

An oasis of quiet in the heart of the city. Off-street parking and very private and quiet grounds, with running water that blocks the hum of the city traffic. Our Luxe Crib room was great - very clean, quality bedding, spacious bathrooms and an outdoor patio with private jacuzzi. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent - fruit, yoghurt and muesli on the buffet, and then they also have a full all-day breakfast menu with both Western and local options.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was we could hear a little noise from the stairs and water running in the next room, but this wasn't really an issue at all.

Quietness, location and the staff were so lovely, couldn't do enough for me. I wanted to stay in an authentic Malaysian Resort and that's exactly what I got. Not just a room in a large hotel. Perfect for couples. Absolutely beautiful, would highly recommend.
