Boutique Hotel Kazbek, Dubrovnik

This is a beautiful boutique style hotel, with wonderful staff. We had an excellent dinner on our first night. Breakfast each morning was served in the courtyard, a very extensive menu with many choices. The marina is straight across the road, with many restaurants nearby, we got a taxi into Dubrovnik Old Town or a 35 minute walk.

A lovely hotel with character. Individual rooms tastefully furnished. Smart communal areas. A pleasant courtyard restaurant.

The location is good, out of the old town, by the marina, with a regular No.6 bus outside every 10 minutes to take you in.
The swimming pool area is lovely and calm, the pool isn’t huge but it’s very nicely done, with good seating, beds and shades.
Food was good, breakfast not buffet, but waiter service and freshly prepared good quality. We also had lunch which was a set menu and very tasty.
Our room was large and comfortable and the staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Beautiful boutique hotel located on the port. The staff very friendly & attentive. Our room was very spacious & clean, breakfast was great, with a good selection of hot & cold choices. We were 5-10 mins away from the old town, super easy to hop on the local bus (number 6) which stops right outside the hotel. It was nice to be staying away from the crowds & to see a different part of Dubrovnik. Would highly recommend

Beautiful hotel, attentive staff, good location.

Charming hotel located across the yacht club of Dubrovnik with very comfortable rooms, nice heated swimming pool in the garden and very good breakfast. Staff was super friendly and service oriented. Parking available and the public bus stops just in front of the hotel, making commuting to the old town super easy and quick.

The room given to us was a bit small yet very comfortable and well equipped.

Was exactly as described in other reviews. Thank you for an excellent stay.

It was a lovely, small hotel.

The staff was really good & helpful - we had asked for yoga mats which they didn't have but instead supplied large towels which served our purpose.
The housekeeping staff was good & they had a turn down service too.
We had requested the restaurant staff to store our cheese overnight and to slice it for the morning - they were perfect about it & had it ready at 7 am when we had to check out.
The hotel is located away from the old town but the reception staff showed us the location of the bus stop and it was also easy to get a bus or an uber back and forth from the old town.
The pool was lovely and at a comfortable temperature, though it was not temperature controlled.

The room size is a little small for 2 persons & their bags. It became a little cramped with the bags lying around. The airconditioning unit was behind the curtains, so if you draw the curtains close, the room doesnt get cool and if you leave the curtains open, there is too much light in the morning - this made it a little uncomfortable but not too much of a sore point.
The bathroom window came off the hinge when I opened it but they soon fixed it.

If I had to say anything negative perhaps the shower was a bit small, (but there was a second shower we could use in the tub), and the pillows were a bit lumpy

The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere.
The room was clean and comfortable, and reasonably big.
Breakfast on the terrace was a delight, with every item you could hope for, freshly prepared.
The pool was large and lovely, with sun loungers and parasols, and poolside service.
The staff are exceptionally diligent, friendly and helpful.
A bus from over the road took us to the Old Town. It's worth buying a Dubrovnik Pass, which includes travel and various museums, for the same price as the City Walls walk alone.

It's pricey, but no more than we found in other Croatian hotels.
I was surprised to be asked to pay extra for my wife's breakfast - it seems I inadvertently booked only 1 occupant, but I gave 2 names, so I think Booking.com should have picked this up before I travelled.

Hotel Kazbek is truly special. The location is perfect, in a lovely section of town, with direct access to the beach and the Bay of Kotor.

Quiet and tranquil ambiance, large bedrooms and very clean.

Gorgeous surroundings. The photos don’t do it justice as some of the furnishings and decor look a little dated but it actually suits the vibe of the whole establishment. 5* service - staff couldn’t do enough to be helpful and polite. An amazing team of people.

Our east-facing window had sun for a lot of the day and got very warm very quickly. Couldn’t shut the curtains to keep the sun out as the air conditioner was under the window and behind the curtains. Only a small annoyance but otherwise a completely gorgeous place.

The hotel is in a very nice place, but it is difficult to walk to the city center, it is easily reached by Uber.

The Hotel was just what we'd hoped for. Intimate (just 13 rooms) but with every facility you need..... great breakfast and great restaurant for dinner. Staff were perfect , nothing too much trouble!

The room was very spacious for what you typically find in Europe, and was very comfortable for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning and were very happy we booked with it included in our room rate. Would definitely stay here again!

The wifi was a bit unreliable, but wasn't a huge issue for the time we were at the hotel.

The room was lovely a good size with great air con and a view over the courtyard and a large comfortable bed. The pool was fantastic and always had plenty of comfortable loungers and shade in the very hot weather. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and staff were very helpful. The location is great for Lapad with varied shops and restaurants and a bus direct to the old town or an uber for about $7 euro.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a lovely and private setting. The pool is awesome and gets sun all day with a jacuzzi corner. Our room had a bath shower and waterfall shower which you can use at the same time! The bed was excellent and we slept like overworked adults. Wait staff are very quick, and each bar has a bell system to call them if they aren't attending at that moment. There is a picture-perfect terrace where you can have drinks with stunning views of the harbour. We didn't try the hotel restaurant a the local area has many good choices for food and drinks.

It is such a small thing but given this is the most expensive and nicest place we stayed in out of three places in Croatia, we were surprised that their hairdryer was a not great. It's one of those attached to the wall where you have to hold a button down to activate it. Connections to old town are a little awkward by public transport, you have to walk about 10mins away at a slow pace. Everything else was fantastic, and we were very glad to stay here but it is the small things given the 5 stars and price that you focus on when looking to give them a perfect score.

Beautiful property - feels like your own little oasis after dealing with the insane crowds in old town! The hotel staff were also exceptional

A very well modernized and beautiful small palace about 10 minutes by taxi from the old town. After the rigors of a tourist day, it was nice to return to a peaceful residence and relax by the pool. The service was excellent and highly personalized. It's also next to the marina which is great for private boat tours.

We have stayed at Kazbek many times over the years and come back whenever there is vacancy. Excellent location, restaurant and staff.

Everything is always perfect.

The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. The pool is heated and the sauna is great!
Restaurant food is delicious and the service is phenomenal!
The area of Lapad is very walkable with walking paths, restaurants and bars close by as well as the Marina.

Location away from old city but just a quick bus ride to get there. A nice stroll down to the beach with a wide range of places to eat and drink. Hotel grounds are nice and just down the passage is a waterfront under development. Room was large comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very nice. Staff are polite and extremely professional.

The hotel is a bit old fashioned in terms of decor in common areas and bedroom.
