Storchen Zürich is such a gem right in the heart of Zurich, on the banks of the Limmat. It feels effortlessly elegant yet chill, a boutique-hotel with only 64 rooms, but with a lot of character. The building has been around forever (first mentioned in 1357!), and it blends that rich history with a fresh, modern design that makes you feel totally at home.
But it’s not just a place to sleep, Storchen is a social hub. There’s the sophisticated La Rôtisserie restaurant by the river, the cozy Barchetta lounge under old arches, a cigar bar for relaxing after dinner, and then The Nest, their rooftop bar with killer views over the Limmat and the city.
On top of that, it’s part of The Living Circle group, which means a really thoughtful, nature-connected approach. They source loads of food from their own farms, and sustainability is a real priority.
