fabian and the staff were excellent. Totally committed. Reception was nice. the complimentary water and coffee was great. bathroom in the room was very good. great shower.

rooms are very small . couldn't lay two suitcases down.

location was great, staff great. the rooms are not equipped for two people, only space for one persons luggage, no shelving in the bathroom to hold basic necessities. One chair etc.

The location of the hotel is great. Staff were very friendly. We got upgraded which was appreciated. Our room was very large and comfortable

Property was easily found and very clean and staff was extremely kind and accommodating!

The room felt like it was on a slant so if you have vertigo just beware this will absolutely trigger that.

The "tiny"room was tiny but cosy, had everything i needed. The tea and coffee facilities were available 24 hours. The breakfast was not abundant but had everything you need in the morning.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was ever a problem for them and are very willing to help you The breakfast was also great, loads of choice from bacon, sausage scrambled eggs, to fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries. The room was very large, large double bed, free standing bathtub , we were in a historic room. Great location in the old town , lots to see and lots of very nice restaurants in the area.

Nothing at all , it was very warm in the hotel , but apart from that nothing to complain about

A wonderfully elegant hotel in the centre of the old town. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would come again.

Reception at the first floor entry at ground, rather annoying when you’ve got luggage to carry up and down stairs

Shower pressure not the best and temp of water fluctuating. You g lady in the bar downstairs was not very welcoming when ordering drinks and showed some attitude!

Only a few hotels understand their guest's needs. Marktgasse's team did their utmost to make our late arrival comfortable, helpful, friendly, and professional during our check-in and stay. They were prepared for what sometimes is unexpected.

Event was great!

Ideally situated in the Altstadt. (An easy 12-15 walk from the train station.) Comfortable beds. Appreciated the loan of special Swiss electrical adaptor. Breakfast dining room is also a restaurant.

Complicated WiFi sign-in procedure. Plugs difficult to access. Tricky to keep adapter plug plugged in. Shower water temperature would suddenly run hotter when, presumably, someone flushed a toilet nearby.

Excellent location, convenient, clean & safe. Rooms are modern and hotel has a nice vibe. Loved my room and slept really well. AC is perfect. Bathroom amenities are good quality. I’d stay here again.

Just the space between the bed and the room is so small. Not sure if someone is slightly overweight, how can they go to their bed.. but this was a very minor thing.

Everyone was very helpful and the room was very clean and up to date.

My room on the top floor had a very low ceiling of 6 feet and was very claustrophobic since I am 5’5”. It was only for one night so I managed but I wouldn’t have like to stay any longer. I’m sure all the rooms aren’t like this.

Perfect place for a few days’ city trip. Friendly people, comfy beds, delicious free water. Excellent location in the city center; all the main sights reachable by foot. Hauptbahnhof is a 10 minute walk away.
