B2 Boutique Hotel, Zurich

Everything!!!

We upgraded to a suite and felt it was a little pricey but after enjoying the room and all the amenities offered along with one of the finest overall staffs we’ve ever encountered in years of travel we couldn’t have been better cared for!!!

The staff are wonderful at this hotel. They are very welcoming and happy to give advice. The foyer and bar/restaurant area is a really nice place to be. The mini-bar and breakfast included was very nice as well.

Not really any complaints - if I had to say something the room could be a little fresher and updated, but not a deal breaker.

Great suite! The location was good too. I liked walking to the city centre, choosing a different route each time.

Excellent space and access to the spa was a superb perk. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, we were so well looked after with our small child.

Wound have liked more snacks in the room and food could have been more interesting in the evening menu.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and designed. staff is very nice, and breakfast was great, with lots of options. dinner and lunch at the lobby restaurant was very good, and at a reasonable price. location was great for us, one tram away from everything. not city center but we liked it.

we had a few issues. first, after making the reservation we got an email saying that the pool will be closed during our stay, which were very disappointing. During our stay, the room we got had a sewage problem and the windows were facing a wall, so we had to switch rooms. Also, on the first day we had no hot water. the hotels showers has no privacy. it is a transparent glass with from all sides with only a curtain from the room side. so anyone can open it. not quite suitable for families with small kids or friends.

Greeting at the door and drinks at the bar on arrival ,took our bags to the room. Anna and Basil made us feel welcome and showed us up to our room. Explanined how the spa worked and mini bar was free !! Yahh

Staff was the best!

Wonderfully designer hotel, most creative and a very quirky reception area. Rooms very well appointed and thoughtfully designed. In a quiet residential area, but easy walking distance to the City Sights. Great reception staff, most helpful.

Open and spacious, very clean. Beautiful library and lounge areas. Loved the complimentary power yoga session. Enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.

Not walking distance into town, however best way to travel around was via Uber.

Overall, very good experience staying at B2 Hotel. The rooftop swimming pool and spa are closed for renovation, which is very unfortunate. The staff are all very helpful and responsive in all inquiries. I would come back again.

Amazing decor and setup! We stayed in a regular double room but with the high ceilings and the semi-open bathroom, it looked and felt very spacious. The room was surprisingly very quiet despite the hotel being close to a railway… breakfast was very tasty and I appreciated the fact that it was included in the price of the room and available until noon. And of course the breakfast room/restaurant was very spectacular. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Not much to highlight besides maybe the small fact that we didn’t have the chance to try the rooftop pool because it was closed for summer maintenance. But we did get free passes for the local Badi - just ask the staff!

Nothing in particular. They did a good job to transform a more than 180’years old of brewery into a modern hotel however the guest room design is still slightly old fashion compared to other modern hotels in Switzerland.

Spa; coffee, rooms

We loved the B2 hotel. It was so unique, rooms were clean and modern, and the extras were high quality. The staff were fantastic - always so helpful and friendly. A special shout out to Irina who welcomed us on day one and remembered us every day. Although technically not a part of the hotel, the connection to the thermal spa made B2 an extra special spot.

B2 is not in the immediate inner city but it was easy enough to walk to the cbd and a nearby train station to get to the airport.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Irena at the front desk who was really friendly and helpful. It was nice to be given a welcome drink after a long day of travelling. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Although the bathroom has glass walls, there is a curtain that can be drawn around for privacy and the toilet is in its own cubicle. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a good selection of food. You could also order eggs to be freshly prepared.

The hotel is located on a hill so it is a bit of a climb to access if you don't have a car. Travellers with mobility issues should be aware of this.

This hotel was so perfect for us. Perfect location right near the Lake and Old town. Also close to places to eat and shop. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they helped us with a smile. The rooms were very pleasant and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. And the spa! The spa and rooftop pool were absolutely incredible. So many pools and jacuzzis to soak in. Would highly recommend staying here.

location, quietness, service

The staff is very friendly. The hotel is pretty, clean, modern. We loved the breakfast and the breakfast area, itself. It felt like we were at Hogwarts in Harry Potter! There is even a Harry Potter book in the library:) The spa is lovely. We went there, twice. We were able to walk to the tram- which take you all over Zurich. We walked to a nice dinner. We would stay there again:)

It's not in the center or Zurich, in a suburb Enge. Requires a car to get/from the hotel The hotel has a swimming pool and spa. But weirdly the pool requires separate payment. They would not show us the pool without us buying a pass

breakfast was awesome. the meal to get you through the whole day. stuff was so nice and helpful, room was ready before the check-in time (so I could check-in earlier). interior is amazing, I was mesmerized by everything. staff helped me with everything that I asked, and were so polite. I really felt like at home.

nothing could have been better, everything is just mind blowing. you need to experience this first hand, it cannot be captured in words or sentences. you just need to be there. these people just know how to make you feel satisfied.

Both quiet and near the historic center (by tramway). Very kind people. Original architecture (suite in the "old" building). Spectacular swimming-pool. Perfect for family or couple ...

Having the rooftop pool and mineral spa in house was enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly. Easy to get to public transportation and around Zurich. Room was clean and felt modern and spacious. Complimentary mini bar was a nice touch! Had dinner in the library one night and the meal was good.

The hike up the hill/steps was significant. But good for you :)

Loved the rooftop pool sized hot tub with amazing views of Zurich and mountains in the distance - gorgeous. The restaurant was pricey but absolutely delicious. The room we had was incredible, a two story suite, perfect for a family of four. The free minibar is a really nice touch and much appreciated! The decor is awesome, it’s an old brewery with heavy machinery and the designer of the conversion was clearly brilliant, rather than try to cover stuff up they own the industrial look and it really works. Finally the staff are fantastic, friendly and genuine. They get the service perfect, from check in (when you get a drink of your choice, ushered to a comfy chair where you fill out the forms at leisure) through departure.

Location is a bit out of the way and if you are with heavy cases, it’s up a big hill. Probably best to get a cab (we took tram from HB station and then a 10 minute uphill walk from the stop). If you have kids, know that the spa is closed to them from 5pm onward, so to get your money’s worth make sure to arrive as early as you can.

The gluten free bread . It’s not easy to get gluten free food that tastes good . If it could be baked on site that would be wonderful

Beautiful hotel! The staff were lovely, so accommodating and friendly! The food was brilliant, the spa was great (especially with the 24 hour pass for my overnight stay), and the dining library area is a gorgeous space. Lived up to my expectations. Very impressed!

There could be more sockets for travellers for the C/J (not sure which) as there was only one that fit my adapter with two holes. This is probably my issue though.

Staff were fabulous - could not have been more helpful Facilities are unique - the gym amongst the engines and pumps; the spa/pool area is as good if not better than anything I have experienced

Small issues - like the light switches in the rooms, which are poorly positioned and difficult to understand. Best room lighting I have ever experienced is just across the lake from B2 - at the Hotel Ambassador - though in most other respects, B2 is superior

Acess to the Roman baths, a lovely spacious room, great staff, great cocktails! The decor is very cool, really great design all round.

The lack of a restaurant separate from the lobby/bar, as well as the somewhat limited dinner menu with rather aggressive price/quality Relation was a touch disappointing, and incongruous with the superb quality of everything else.
