Lovely chap at reception, upgraded our room which was a lovely surpise . Stunning hotel with amazing history. Fantastic location for walking to most tourist stops.

Would have liked a kettle on the room as I only drink tea.

Beautiful, lavish, ornate. Really unique experience and I’m looking forward to the next trip to The Willard!

Very little to criticise! Expensive, but USA prices are high generally so cannot say hotel was overpriced. The handheld shower attachment wasn't working but that was a minor gripe. I had to unplug the radio /alarm clock as the blue light disturbed my sleep. It would be nice to have fresh milk provided for tea and coffee.

Book this hotel. Don’t even think about it. This is THE one. Location, beautiful, clean…I can go on for days.

Beautifully restored historic hotel in excellent location. Public rooms are magnificent. Guest rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Bathroom vanity was falling apart and clearly needed maintenance. They had it propped up with 3 wooden blocks. Definitely not in keeping with the feel of the rest of the room. Also....shower only produced lukewarm water and spray was very weak.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The accommodations were great, food was great, and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful hotel, perfectly placed for all tourist attractions, a very grand hotel, my husband and I loved every moment of our stay at The Willard Hotel. I would love to return.

Shower was fantastic. Staff was superb! Bed and pillows very comfortable. Cleanliness A plus. 2suggestions for improvement. A microwave in the room and thermostat that worked better.

Outstanding hotel

I loved every thing about this hotel. It’s public spaces feel opulent. Great books to hang out in. The gym was better than most hotels. Next time, I want to do the high tea.

Street noise at night (people playing drums right outside the hotel) until after 11:00np.m.

It is a butyful old style hotel with style!

The room on 12th floor we had had only a small round widow less then 30 inch, more like a window on old sail yacht and therefore almost no daylight.

I wish we had more places in the lobby or other areas where we could hang out with our family, like a library or different rooms.

Outstanding professionals work here. Impeccably maintained and managed. You want for nothing here. It’s like coming home only better.

At first we were escorted to a room on the 11 th floor next to and behind the elevator. We requested a change and it was seemless

The room is better than most DC rooms, bigger plus marble tile bathroom is a plus.

The breakfast area looks too canteen like. The staff seem to care less except the door men. There were no welcoming touches or any kind of finesse. I thought you would be similar if not better than the Jefferson Hotel in DC, but it’s not. Bigger yes, but lacks ambiance of sophistication. But, your location is great for tourists.

The food at their restaurant (breakfast) was okay but not great, especially for the price they charged.

The size of the room was great!

The robes in the room were damp as if they had not been dried completely. Additionally, the water was draining slowly from the tub.
