Hotel Metropol, Warsaw

Our stay at the hotel was excellent in every aspect. The room was very comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was complete, with a great variety of options and very good quality. The reception staff were always helpful , with special mention to Alicja, who was exceptionally friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose it again.

Ideal spot as a base to explore Warsaw and Poland. The airport train drops you at a station with an unpronounceable Polish name (Warszawa Śródmieście, meaning city centre), right across the road from the hotel. (The central station, Warszawa Centralna, is one stop further but is itself in sight of the hotel.) Hotel is clean and comfortable with friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast is excellent. There is a restaurant in the hotel with a limited but affordable menu... excellent pizza and pasta for those on a budget. Trams, buses and metro are a few metres away and fares are cheap. It is about 2 km to the old town... quite walkable if you feel like the exercise.

Excellent location, tasty breakfast, clean room. We have room for 4, it was big. There was the wall that divided room to two parts, it was very comfortable.

The toilet is too small

Well specced out modern hotel that is very well priced for its standards, nice breakfast selection, comfortable bed. Comfortable 10-15 min walk away from old town hence the affordable price, therefore well located away from crowds and noise, but still close enough.

Hotel is in the very center of Warsaw. Good connection to trains, busses and trams. Shopping malls, restaurants - minutes walking. Cosy bed. Small safe. Wonderful breakfast (not included in room price!).

Room was small. Single liquid for hands, body and hair. No drinking water, no minibar, no refrigerator. Sleeping cosiness depends of room position - we had earplugs near beds, but room was enough far from noise source (vents systems). No way to get bottled water after 10 pm in a hotel.

The location was excellent, right downtown. Breakfast was great and the room had a great view too.

The rooms are not sound proof so there’s a lot of noise from the nearby trams / traffic. In fact - the hotel offers ear plugs which help to an extent but isn’t a real solution. No mini fridge available.

Always very good, as usual. Whenever I need to be in Warsaw it’s the perfect compromise in terms of location and price, super close to train station.

The second time here was quite the charm - in addition to the location, spacious room, lovely staff and great breakfast - the restaurant is really good, affordable, and serving great food. Would come back in my next visit to Warsaw.

The hotel is located in the heart of Warsaw, within walking distance of a shopping mall and the train station. The rooms were clean and modernly equipped. The breakfast was delicious and varied.

There was no refrigerator in the room, but you can ask for one to be brought.

Very comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was crowded, but good.

The view from the window was obstructed by a huge banner. The soundproofing was not so good, and the avenue was very noisy at night.

Near everything because it was in the City Center and near the transport (tram, bus, train). The breakfast was good and you can choose from everything. The room is decent, not big, but decent. Of course, there are people and people which they make noise with, but it was ok. Overall, I recommend!

Great location: we could walk to most tourist attractions, and the tram is right outside. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. There was also a water dispenser on our floor, very useful!

The speaker in the room beeps lightly, which becomes annoying when you are trying to sleep. The room comes with ear plugs but we would have preferred that they change the speaker altogether!

Central location - and easy reach to Old Town if using public transport (tram out the front and super easy to get a ticket - via app)

Depending where your room, can be quite noisy (gave out ear plugs) but well insulated windows alleviates most things. Also no fridge in case you buy milk for your cup of tea (or beer).
