Hotel Metropol, Warsaw

Room is renovated, good. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with good choice of products. Location is perfect to explore the center of Warsawa. Plenty of cafes bars and restaurants all around.

When you open the window in your room it is very noisy, feel like tram or train are going every 10 seconds all the night. But there are earplugs in the room. And also - it is better not to open the window during night. Then you could sleep well.

Very central and right near the metro, bed was comfortable, the itallian restaurant attached to the hotel was good and well priced. All staff were really polite and friendly and would always be there to help if needed

The breakfast was ok but nothing special, but that is just a country specific thing for others or locals it may have been fine. No toaster available.

One of my Executive class rooms was the right size, but the other was half the size of the first. And it was actually the smallest room on the floor. The room was so small that there was nowhere to put my suitcase. I was disappointed that I paid extra for Executive class.

Excellent location, very close to all the main landmarks. Easy and quick check-in, and the staff was kind and helpful.I really appreciated being able to leave my luggage after check-out.

It was great breakfast, and on each floor near the elevator there was water refil machine. Very central area, will transport connections and things to do.

Only thing what I didnt liked, that I needed help to unscrew my adaptor, what is few second job to do, and no one could provide screw driver. Maintenance staff supposed to have, and its matter of few minutes to call. As I am workign also at the reception, and we always help with such tasks to our guests.

We visited Hotel Metropol twice in one week and had a wonderful experience both times. During our stay from 30th April to 1st May, the service was exceptional. We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious room ready for us. I have some food intolerances, and dining at the hotel’s restaurant made me feel both safe and cared for. A trainee staff member, who was working during lunch on 30th April and breakfast on 1st May, offered superb service and made the experience even more enjoyable. When we returned later in the week, although the room was smaller, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as we were already familiar with the hotel and its warm atmosphere. The location was also ideal for us.

The staff were fabulous and the breakfast was good. Having a bar was great.

The rooms are bit dated, could do with some tlc

The hotel is conveniently close to the train station and a mall. This was a great benefit for me. The room was pretty small, but clean, and had ac. Bathroom was clean as well, but the towels were pretty old and thin.

I would love if the towels were of a better quality.

Staff was really friendly. Location was top notch. Room was really comfortable.

At times, you could hear the traffic outside, but I guess that is because the hotel is located right in the middle of the city.

Best espresso machine for breakfast, the food is also very delicious, the room is very nice and functional. The bar has tasty offerings.

Every time I have a business trip to Warsaw - I am staying here. Perfect location (both to the train station, public transport, airport), nice breakfast, friendly staff. There is no iron in the standard room, however after a call to the reception, I have got an iron and ironing board in less than 10 minutes. Thank you!

The location is really good. Next to Warszawa Central Station and Bus #.175.

The location is excellent, with easy access to both buses and trains — very convenient. While some traffic noise was noticeable, the hotel provided earplugs, though we didn’t end up needing to use them. All the staff were wonderful, not just the front desk team but also the housekeepers. Although we didn’t have breakfast during this stay, we did a few days prior and had a fabulous experience.

The window advertisements. While I understand they might help reduce noise, I would have preferred to enjoy the view outside rather than having to look through the ads.

Cleanliness was seriously lacking. Room carpet wasn't clean when we got into the room initially and then not hoovered at all during our stay. They come in to service your room regardless of whether you request it and changed the towels even though we had hung them up to reuse. They didn't clean any of the cups or refill the tea. Spilled coffee all over the radiator and never cleaned it up. Bedding is incredibly cheap. Hotel is noisy but is to be expected given the location. They supply ear plugs.

Couldn't control the ventilation system. The water temperature from the shower was varying from hot to cold.

Everything was excellent! They changed our towels every day, the staff were extremely helpful and the location was perfect! The room was quite big for two people and it even included a small couch (in addition to the two beds) The location was great! Right next to the tram and metro station (tram gets you everywhere in Warsaw and we were in the Old town within 10-15 minutes). Warsaw Train Station was around in walking distance... it took us 8 minutes to get there while holding all our luggage.

There was a lot of noise outside because the location is very busy (all shopping centers are around there), but they provided earplugs .

Location is super, next to the main station. The room was reasonably sized and bed is comfortable. You can open the windows in the room.

There was a strange smell at the room's entrance that I really can't describe.

What i did notice is that the price ,for a room 823 and room 914 despite the difference in squaremeters , was almost the same. What i also mentioned is that you dont seperare waste (organic /inorganic and should be something that you can invest into.

The room was great and the stuff very good I had a really nice experience. The only thing being bad there was the view of the balcony was covered with a big sign like a commercial and was blocking all the view l. Beside this everything great I recommended it there

Small but comfortable room with air conditioning, which I requested be switched on at check in and was working by the time we reached the room. Breakfast was plentiful and of a very good standard.

Location was excellent, Staff were helpful, breakfast was plentiful and varied, nothing ran out, and there were Polish foods available. Hotel chocolate was nice. Room and bathroom very clean and tidied every day.

It was a bit noisy with rumbling train noise until after midnight and starting early morning hours. The earplugs provided in the room helped. Didn't like the advertisement mesh in front of the balcony, although the astroturf there was a nice touch.

The location is good, within less than 800m of walking distance. The room facilities except the bathroom are also good enough for a budge Traveller. Cleanness is not too bad though, but I still can find dusts and hair somewhere. The shower was the nightmare to me, when staying there for 3 nights. The water temperature kept shifting between hot and cold, too annoying! Last, breakfast was good. No fridge was equipped. Night noise was not bearable at all (tram railways, horns and engines from traffic, ambulances and police cars). If you do want a quality sleep, locations not too far from the central railway station but not on the main roads may be better.

Bathroom and shower were too annoying as the temperature was shifting between hot and cold. I don’t know outside noises from traffic and tram were constant or occasionally at the weekend(I stayed on Fri till Sun). I can’t have quietness until very early morning every night during the entire stay.

The room smelt of cigarette smoke - but it was not obvious in the beginning as the window was wide open when I came and the fresh air was in. The smoke was smelled the following day. I reported this to the reception and the room was immediately changed - to a very comfy and nice one. Thank you !
