Great central location re trams, buses, a Metro stop 10 mins walk away & Old Town (Stare Miasto) easily reached by bus, plus close to parks and opposite the National Museum. The furnishings make you feel as if you are stepping back in time to a pre & post WWII Warsaw. Very clean throughout. My room had a very comfortable huge double bed, with kettle some teas, instant coffee etc, a coffee maker (small jar of their roasted coffee to try) & fridge. Please note there is small supermarket across the road. Highly recommend going to a daily evening Chopin soirees, wonderful & intimate experience, with pianists (I attended twice) of a very high calibre, extremely high level of musicianship. Breakfast buffet, nice varied choices, plus their coffee and honey is served, both delicious. Same restaurant for lunch and dinner, very convenient, recommend the "Sledzie pod pierzynka" IF you like pickled herrings, amazing! All staff were consistently exceptionally helpful, friendly, polite and informed. Would most definitely stay again. FYA there is a small lift to the rooms, but you have to go down stairs to the restaurant re: if there are any mobility issues. PS I had my birthday during my stay, on returning that evening my room had birthday greetings from the hotel & 2 gifts, one of their coffee beans, the other of their honey. What a beautiful surprise and nice touch!

All was really lovely!

The energy of the place is amazing, all the staff people are super nice and helpful, the room was very clean and unique (I got the Kitchen decorated one). I was glad I could attend a piano recital, beautiful (special price for guests). The restaurant is also great. I just loved everything.

This little gem of a place will transport you back in time. It's located in a Warsaw "kamienica", or tenement house, from between the wars. There is so much history here, the rooms are even named for famous Poles, and there is antique furniture everywhere. Such atmosphere! They have a piano salon where nightly Chopin concerts enchant. The organic breakfast is abundant and tasty. Very helpful staff. Don't expect fancy standard hotel chain interiors or amenities. This place is outstanding because it's so unique.

Handy and quiet location near train station from airport. Also just round corner from buses into the centre. Walking distance from several other sights. Friendly staff and a property with lots of nice little touches. Decent choice at breakfast.

my second stay here. Its a lovely hotel, with an unique charm and design. excellent location, just a few minutes from the epicenter, and jet in a calm area. breakfast is very nice and tasty, with lots of attention to every detail.

we would prefer a double bed instead of two singles pushed together.

We loved stepping back in time whilst being very comfortable in the quirky, spacious rooms with thoughtful furnishings from yesteryear. Recommend taking in the candle lit salon piano recital (available every evening at 7pm). Good location - 25 minute walk into Old Town. Would stay again.

Had to wait to get a table in the breakfast room, but the staff were very helpful and the coffee is freshly ground when you get there!

Breakfast very nice with good quality ingridients. Interior design of the hotel is excellent. I would recommend to attend the piano concert in the hotels salon, wonderful experience.

Arriving at the Chopin is like coming home. The welcome is always the best. All the rooms have their own character. Breakfast is Polish, home-cooked and delicious. I stay here so that, for a few hours a day, I feel like I’m on holiday instead of working.

Highlight were wonderful and intimate Chopin evenings with discount for guests. We went both nights. And breakfast was superb, surpassed only by helpfulness of staff.

large room, there is a fun theme in hotel, they also make honey and roast coffee, they facilitate daily Chopin concert in a small nice hall that was very nice

the toilet situation is quite challenging, its hidden but there is a 20 cm gap below the door so we always had to arrange something with my partner to wait outside until the other goes to the toilet, as it does not isolate noise nor smell, shower otherwise was nice I have not found any other toilet in the building

The only thing I missed was a higher desk to work on laptop. The rest no complains.

Staff were very nice, especially the kitchen crew at breakfast. Very helpful and engaging. Thanks to Maria for allowing us to leave our suitcase with reception two days after we had left the hotel. We were visiting the National Museum, and she made or visit so much easier. 🤗

Although the bedroom was lovely and the bed very comfortable, there were no curtains covering the side windows of our particular room. Maybe this is something that the hotel can rectify.

I felt at home in this hotel. There is a lovely atmosphere here, thanks to the staff and the interior decor. It is actually a pre-war residential building converted into a hotel. Each interior and room is different, with individually selected restored furniture and decorations. Based on photos I found online, I requested a specific room and got it. It was called Fryderyk, spacious, with a large bathroom (with a bidet), and everything in it matched perfectly. There was even a balcony. Of course, if someone expects ancient gold and marble, this is not the place, but if you want to feel like you’re in old good Warsaw, this is definitely where the genius loci resides. The breakfast was very good, with delicious homemade cake, (local honey, jam, pickles, etc.), and absolutely amazing freshly roasted coffee right on the premises! I will definitely recommend this little hotel to all my friends! :)

I’m glad I was alone in the double room because, for me, the blankets are too small, and I managed to cover myself with two of them! :)

The automated coffee maker went i to service so one of the poor staff members had to make all the coffee barista style.

The place was neat and tidy and clean. Staff was very nice and breakfast options were good.

I just missed having smaller lights in the bedroom.

The hotel is a whole vibe, super kitsch, with a good restaurant, great location and very comfortable.

I loved everything about the property - from big, beautiful room with amazing mattress to the attitude of the stuff towards me, and Chopin musical Salon. It was magical :)

Exceptionally clean, cozy unique interior, friendly staff, nice little polish breakfast and good coffee , at check out you get a little jar of their own rooftop harvested honey along. We loved the hotel!

Fabulous venue, you can tell how much it means to the owners to make this unforgettable. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and the value for money is excellent. We enjoyed the Chopin concert at the salon, such an intimate idea. We really liked the vintage vibe. Clean environment and lots of detail when the rooms were prepared.

The historic elevator is quite noisy but it certainly gave it more charm

Same as the previous reviews state - it’s a unique and very lovely hotel set in an old building, with some furniture, books, mirrors from the older times. Spacious, bright and warm room. The breakfast makes you feel at home, fresh cakes, selection of bread, even herring. Coffee is just great, and roasted locally. The location is perfect for a tourist - we walked everywhere. There are Chopin concerts in the evenings which we missed as we’ve got a dinner out booked, for a music lover could be a nice experience.

The staff was great. The apartment was really big, warm and clean.

The furniture was really old and the bed was creaking all night. They had no slippers.

Everything was perfect! Very beautiful hotel, good and friendly people, and names of the rooms are fun! You should definitely go to a concert that they have every evening!! I would definitely stay again there.

The large bed consist of two materac and there was a hole in the middle because the mattresses were moving.

A small old style hotel. The property was converted from the old fashion residential building. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and within 3 min walk to the city park. A lovely breakfast and freshly roasted and brewed coffee! The staff members are friendly and helpful to the guests.

Original experience, feel yourself in the '40's in Poland

I loved this place! Lovely staff, they even packed me breakfast to go when I checked out early!

We stopped here in the Summer and loved it so much we returned for New Year. The hotel is quirky but it has real character and is really a home from home. Its positioned also cannot be faulted.

Nothing although a bit more storage space in the room would be beneficial.

The bed pillows were a bit small and uncomfortable.
