Very comfortable and perfectly situated right in the heart of the city. It had a quiet, understated elegance that most hotels seem to force. Here, everything just felt effortless and at ease. Restaurant was excellent for late night dining too.

Wien is a bon bon of a city. The Guesthouse Vienna is perfectly situated in the inner stadt a stones throw from Wiener Staatsoper, Albertina Museum, Hofburg Palace, Musikverien, Sacher... I was travelling alone as a wheelchair user. The Guesthouse is warm, welcoming without being pretentious, and trendy. Love the artwork/pictures in the rooms and around the hotel. The bottles of Austrian wine that are part of your package can be taken to dinner in their restaurant at no charge. Nice touch. The Jura coffee machine in the room was easy to use, and the coffee was lovely. Beautiful, top-quality Austrian skincare products 'March' are offered for use in the bathroom. Hand/body wash, conditioner, and body lotion in 500ml pump dispensers. The pillow mist is lovely. I bumped into the manager, Manfred, in the corridor and asked if he had a little time to spare. He was happy to accompany me to my room, seeing some very small issues, and was grateful for my perspective. He took note and promised to change these things. Wheelchair users, the toilet is right-hand transfer only. Maybe a problem for others but not me. All staff from the front desk, doormen, and housekeeping were kind and always prepared to offer advice, help, or a friendly chat. Nothing was too much trouble. The brasserie/restaurant and bar are excellent and popular with the locals. Great choice of quality food, pastries, and drinks at not silly prices . Upon checkout, I made a reservation for next year. Yes, it is that good. Vielen Dank, bis nächstes Jahr.

Upon returning to the hotel usually night time, it could be difficult to get the attention of staff for the ramp. It was a little frustrating, but it didn't spoil my stay. I could have rung reception but not always easy to do when laden with bags.... Restaurant staff got the attention of the front desk.

Excellent location! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was well designed. The minibar was stocked with free water and soft drinks daily. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel has the best location of any hotel in Vienna we could see the corner of the opera house from our room it was so close we could almost touch it. It is opposite the Albertina and a five minute walk to Dimels and the Hoffbourg Place. I looked up the best restaurants in Vienna before we left and we tried most of them and the cafes including Dimels Cafe Central and Gersners but the best food cakes and coffee were in our hotel I wish I had eaten there more often. The staff were phenomenal from front of house to the waiters. The room we had was 102 it was very large and easily fitted in the extra bed which was a proper bed - the pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on.

Excellent value for location, which is next to Hofburg Palace. Service was also excellent. Highly recommend for a boutique hotel.

Really terrific hotel and eyes stay there again! The staff was very friendly; it had clean and comfortable rooms; and it was an excellent location.

Breakfast wasn’t included but there was a delicious brasserie/restaurant on the first floor.

The Guesthouse is a lovely hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. The staff is very good. They have a very nice restaurant which is very popular with the locals as well. The location is unbeatable. The view from the Albertina facing rooms is lovely.

Breakfast offers a lot of nice choices. Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

The courtyard view was deceiving a little, not enough greenery mostly building walls. The Wifi was inconsistent.

I liked all the little extras like the pillow spray, drinks in the room and coffee machine. Also of course the location. The staff were very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

We loved how central the hotel was. The room was really spacious with lovely big windows with a view of the Albertina and Opera House. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We also really appreciated the free wine, beer and soft drinks that were provided in our room.

It was an amazing experience, perfect location and very friendly staff.

Regarding the breakfast, that was good but should be part of the room tarief. My sincere comment is that the hotel should serve an Normal pot of coffee and avoid charging for each individual cup of coffee at the breakfast!

The location is excellent & the room was very nice and clean!

The hotel was fully sold out on the day of check in and check out so we were not able to get a slightly late check out. I understand that this is no one’s fault, but I was not aware before booking that they only have 39 rooms so they’re more prone to being sold out.

Great staff, very helpful reception staff, great location - easy walk to most museums and galleries. Lovely terrace cafe, good sized bedroom with comfy bed and sofa. You must book your place in the bistro for breakfast with reception the night before as it gets very crowded. But sitting on the terrace is easier and if not too cold more enjoyable.

This hotel is all about comfort. The location for me, is the best in Vienna. My only negative comment is that the rooms are kept too warm by central control during the colder months.

Small but cosy room. I liked that it was very stylish. The location is superb in front of my favourite museum. Whilst you are in the room, you do feel that you are a special guest.

However, as soon as you visit the restaurant (which is also famed for nice breakfast etc.), you lose the feeling of being special - quite rude service, overpriced food, too salty and generally not as nice as advertised.

Wonderful beds, superb pillows and duvets! The room was so beautiful and elegant and didn't feel like staying in a hotel. Loved the restaurant, the breakfast was really extraordinary, not the usual continental breakfast, it was much better, felt like sitting right in the heart of Vienna's coffee house culture. The best location you can wish for if you want to stay in the centre. There's also a covered parking right next to it.
