Very clean and nicely decorated

Very poor sound proofing. We had very noisy and loud neighbours above us into the early hours of the morning and then in the communal area early in the morning. We went to burano for a relax and it was not relaxing due to the noise.

Location away from tourist area. The welcome from the ferry stop .

The shower was difficult to work out how to use. My husband scolded his hand trying to work out how to use the shower

Considering we paid a lot for a rather small, poorly put together room, we assumed breakfast would be included and not an extra 30 euros! The actual breakfast was good.

The person who met us to show us where our room was, was rather unfriendly and walked very fast without telling us properly where things were and what was what. All he really wanted was to take credit card details for the tax. We luckily asked if breakfast was brought to us and were told it was extra and a 15 min walk ( it was raining and we weren’t offered an umbrella. He didn’t bother to give us directions to where the restaurant was. There was a box of rubbish left on the window sill when we arrived and was still there when we left. (He really should have moved it prior to our arrival.?)We were woken at 4am by guests making coffee just outside our room and moving suitcases above us and talking loudly- we assume getting a flight home. The sound insulation was not considered. We feel that the owners are taking advantage as there is no where else to stay on Burano. The actual restaurant was excellent, even though is was poorly sign posted and hardly lit!

Room was clean and modern. Staff are helpful and friendly

The location where you have to check in is different from where the room is, so you have to go to one location to check in, then you have a long walk in hot sun to get to the room itself. There are no cars in Burano, so you have no choice but to walk with all your bags (no trolleys!) which is an issue if you have any mobility problems. The staff sent a message to make contact when we booked, but they did not make this point clear which would have saved a lot of time and frustration. We booked a junior suite but only got a standard room. Have requested partial refund.

Gorgeous bedroom and bathroom. Complimentary wine offered. Heated tiled floors.

Breakfast was a 10 minute walk away from room on another island! No clear instructions on how to check out.

The Burano atmosphere. The evening or early morning stroll around the premises is priceless.

Wifi slow or not working (which can happen). Thought it was a bit too expensive. 'Experience native Venice' seems more like marketing than actual value proposition.

I loved everything about the property. The location was perfect for my daughter and I.

I would suggest they should change the check in system. There is no sound proof at all, Wi-Fi connection is very poor.

Not sound proofing… u could really hear everything upstairs.. but the property is subject to local regulation.. a good night sleep is all by luck..

it was clean, and the location of the house it was great in the downtown , but 12 min walking from the reception which is on the oposite side of the island

1- they doesn’t have people to help you with the luggage’s 2- they don’t have map or how to get to the reception on the opposite side of the island 3- I asked at 7.40pm for another pillow thru the WhatsApp number but they never answered until the next day that I went to the reception 4- the reception number in the room phone was a wrong number, so I couldn’t contact them 5- I didn’t know the room was far from the main building until I got there 6- when I got the first day they have the keys from the rooms in an open box where anyone can take it and open your room By the way the girls at the reception were VERY nice and polite, but the costumer services was very very poor.

Location was perfect in the middle of the tourist hub. Very clean and comfy decor and layout. Very spacious.

Breakfast choices were variable. Asked for more clothes hangers which were not supplied. Room and facilities very good.

This is a wonderful place half an hour drive from Venice. Designed and made with great love.

The distance between reception and apartment was at least 15 minutes by walking without information about! I had to book the room by force inclusive Breakfast, but in the morning we had to walk again back to the reception to get our poor breakfast. In Italy I was waiting to get a perfect Coffee but it was not drinkable!! We have been negative surprised, as at 9:30 o'clock when we after breakfast returned to apartment the Housekeeping was already in the room and as I wanted to take a shower we have had nothing in the room although Cleaning time was written 10:30 o'clock. When I asked Housekeeping why, I got totally rude answer and reaction. When I asked her name she told she has no name!!!!!!! She ask me where I come from and as she recognized that I'm not Italien she tried to be more aggressive and loud. We have been two families together in the apartment, so we spent time together in the kitchen area, which we could sit and drink together. Surprise: The recognition of a room observing camera in this area without any information and warning!! Against the European law! I hope at least the boss of the hotel will use the recorded film to see how his/her Housekeeping treated the guests! Nice apartment, bad service, weak breakfast: no recommendation for booking again. We have seen a lot of little hotels/apartments there, no need to book this special one!

loved the property itself! Perfect, beautiful , calming location away from congested touristy areas.

The property itself was great! However, it was a confusing trek to find. The staff were wasn’t very great with communication. it was frustrating that the staff didn’t pick up the phone/respond to texts promptly. check-in process felt rushed.

The coffee was wonderful flavour.

No help with bags on arrival and leaving. No milk for tea. No Coffee and tea facilities in room only in kitchen 2 floors down. Breakfast very disappointing for a Michelin starred restaurant. Waiter service 1st day was dreadfully slow. 20 minutes for a cup of coffee.

Starting on a positive note, the room amenities were basically fine and matched the description. Pleasant to have a common room on the ground floor with some crockery and a kettle.The furniture was functional.

The bathroom heating did not work, quite uncomfortable in outside temperatures of about 5 degrees Celcius at night. There were also ants in the bathroom and the common room from time to time. Particularly unpleasant as not explicitly stated in the room description: Although the room was on the island of Burano as described, the breakfast booked and paid for in advance had to be taken on the neighbouring island of Mazzorbo. The way there was about 800 m long and additional led over a narrow wooden bridge leading across a sea channel. Due to time constraints, we therefore had to do without breakfast for once. According to the booking confirmation, no advance payment was required. Contrary to this contractual stipulation, the payment was already debited several days before our arrival.

Nice and romantic if you look for design and have a certain budget. We had the junior suite on the white house overlooking the Piazza Galuppi, very calm and spaceful (for once you go to Burano and considering the prices, I wouldn't book a standard room with a view on the street or backyard). The house had 3 rooms in total. Very confortable and sunny, with a well-equipped bathroom. Staff at the reception (at Venissa, on the Mazzorbo island reachable in 10min walking) was very friendly. There is a shared-kitchen where you can do coffee/tea. If we had to come back, we would ask to get a room in one of the other houses of Casa Burano on a canal, on the Fondamenta della Peschiera side to compare.

Details, but still (when you pay 280€/night, expectations can be high): the noisy cleaning staff in the morning who was doing the room next to ours; the service during breakfast (in the nice Osteria room of Venissa) was quite slow.

No service at all. cant be rated as a top quality stay at that rate. the reception is 20mins away also breakfast. they dont let you even leave luggage at the downstairs of the house need to carry 20mins away. staff at reception was rude and no solution intended only mentioning thats the way it is. 300 a night for a very average experience

Everything was special, the location, the room even the weather! A lovely long weekend
