Very nice Hotel and great staff. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect and the hotel itself is stunning - art deco interior.

Room didn't have hand cream or shampoo until last few days of our stay which was noticed and remedied by housekeeping without my asking.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. The location was fantastic for restaurants and river taxis. Breakfast was good. The roof terrace was an added bonus.

We had coffee making facilities on the mezzanine floor outside our room, but the kettle was very noisy and we didn't like to use it very early in the morning. Would have been better to have a kettle in our room.

The staff members went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms were nice, clean, and roomy. The breakfast was super.

My room had an odd configuration, in which the air conditioning vent mainly cooled the entry area that was around a corner from the rest of the room. It got a bit warm at night (for me, a hot-blooded American), but the hotel graciously turned the thermostat down for that room and kept it down. I really appreciated that. Also, my room, and my friend's room were temporarily without water in the sink or shower for a day. It probably couldn't have been helped, but it was a bit of an inconvenience.

Very well decorated. Spacious bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms. Nice amenities in the room. Great breakfast! Well located.

Everything about the hotel worked well; it was relatively small and personal; our room was comfortable, quiet, and spotless. The hotel's location is ideal, ie in a quiet neighbourhood yet centrally located and in easy walking distance to everything we were interested in, including public boat transport stops. Staying in, and using the restaurants in the Dorsoduro was the right decision. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The concierge was fabulous! So very nice and kind in going out of his way to assist us with our water taxi pickup and show us the pickup point. He also took the time to talk with our driver as he did not speak English! We had drinks several times in the very nice restaurant/bar, snacks and the breakfast was fabulous! Our rooms were very spacious and lovely. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful! It was a perfect visit!

That we were only there for two days - would have loved to have stayed longer! We would love to return!

Some staff could have been more approachable.The gentleman who checked us in was a perfect example of how a receptionist should be.

An amazing experience, they do know how to look after their clients. Breakfast will set you up to for the day, fantastic!

Slightly overpriced

Most comfortable bed I have enjoyed in a hotel for a while, including pillows and linen. The furniture choices also affirm this hotel as a design lover heaven. The common spaces on floor 1 and 2 are simply gorgeous. I also enjoyed the tea and coffee station on each floor, given the bad weather in Venice. Great bathroom, nice view and great location.

I did not love the bar space, that’s personal. Also dinner suggestions from front desk were not great. The front desk staff were helpful but I’d suggest making your bookings yourself and ahead of time.

Breakfast was excellent, Room was a good size and well appointed, and the location was awesome!

Italy has a law that Air-conditioning cannot be turned on until mid April! We were there in early April and the room was warm enough that we had to open windows at night to cool the room off!

Rooms were very hot and noisy

The hotel was really comfortable and in an excellent location. Every member of staff was friendly and very helpful, giving us great suggestions of how to get around the city depending on where we wanted to go. Our room was spacious, spotless and so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too. Being only slightly off the beaten track, it was very calm and peaceful.

Breakfast is excellent. Good selection & staff are really friendly & polite. The location is also excellent- quiet, but really close to the Grand Canal. The decor of the hotel is also really lovely. Very clean.

Excellent location, just tucked away from the busy tourist area but still easily accessible. The room was well equipped, beautifully clean with excellent decor. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. We were able to just ask any question and they are happy to help, booking a local restaurant or giving directions to local attractions. Breakfast was plentiful and offering a wide choice of foods, mainly continental with a small amount of hot food. An address bonus for the hotel is that it is just a short walk to the water taxi that goes directly to the airport, it was fabulous.

Superbly comfortable with everything of really high quality including bed linen and towels. All this combined with a thrilling design aesthetic that made our stay very special. Excellent staff that went out of their way to help. Good breakfast. All very understated in the best possible way. Dorsoduro is excellent location too -away from the milling crowds. And very importantly hotel was quiet. One of my best hotel experiences ever. Ask for a small tutorial in how heating and air conditioning work.

Really well equipped and cosy room. Excellent location - quiet but well positioned to explore the city by boat or by foot.

A bit noisy as people get up in the mornings, but to be expected given age of the building.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is pretty unbeatable: away from the crowds but everything in walking distance. Our standard room was spacious. The dark wooden furniture is very welcoming and oozes elegance (some signs of wear did not bother us). We liked in particular that the room had a second, inner door and a walk-in wardrobe on the other side of the entrance area, so clothes and luggages were kept out of sight. Bed: I slept very well on the firm mattress, my partner a bit less. Bathroom was also spacious. Staff was always very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good (in particular fresh fruit salad and quality fruit yoghurt; cheese selection could have been more interesting).

Water pressure in the shower was not the best but that's only a detail. Surprisingly, we did find a couple of mosquitos in the room in winter (or rather they found us).

Fantastic location in quiet area, just a short walk from the vaparetto, and 15mins walk from St Mark’s Square.

The bed was not the most comfortable. Every time my husband turned, it felt like I was on a water mattress!

Breakfast and design of hotel

The breakfast, the location, the staff: all high points of our stay. The room itself, as the rest of the hotel, was a little bit tired and in need of renovation. Overall, this is very good value for money, and an ideal option for anyone with some mobility issues: there's a lift in the hotel and it's ideal in terms of location for exploring Venice (Accademia vaporetto stop) or to/from the airport (Zattere).

Wonderful property, well located in Dorsoduro. We arrived at 11:30 at the hotel and they provided us early check in. Very good breakfast and helpful staff.

Ca’Pisani was very easy to find down the gorgeous cobblestone streets of Venice not far from the water taxi.. the greeting you receive is very welcoming and the staff are very helpful.. we had a twin room which was very comfortable and the included breakfast was delicious.. the outside of the building has the old world charm of Venice but inside you have artistic flare and all the mod cons.. our stay was very enjoyable 😀

Room was spacious and comfortable with a large bed and sufficient space to lay out two luggages. Table space was also adequate. They provided free champagne too. Bathroom was very spacious and had a premium feel with the interesting rain & side shower. Breakfast buffet was amazing as well with fast beverage service and promptly replenished food. Front desk concierge was impeccable - the water bus didn't arrive at all on the morning of our train out of Venice and we scrambled to find a water taxi. The concierge was very helpful even though we'd already checked out, and got us a water taxi on very short notice. We made it to our train in the end with 1 minute to spare.

We got a few mosquito bites whilst in the hotel room, but a) I think it's more a Venice thing than a this-particular-hotel thing, and b) they offered us bug spray promptly which helped.

It was excellently situated and easy to get around from there. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, dramatic and comfortable.

Location was excellent base to explore Venice
