Staff were warm and friendly, helpful. Overall ambience was nice. Location accessible to many areas. Enjoyed restaurant and good service continued there. Brief trip so didn’t use spa services. Would return of course.

In our suite, shower could have been better. Handheld shower head a little awkward to use. Could hear some elevator noise in our suite but moderate. Overall, little to nothing we didn’t like.

Staff extremely helpful and cordial, the rooms have been renewed and look very nice. Breakfast was excellent

Our room had some noise from the building aircon and heating systems.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, central location. Superb dining in the lounge and restaurant. Spacious room. Graciously allowed us to check in very early at no costs. Super large comfy bed, tall ceilings, balcony, lots of storage space. Daily water and cookies. Attentive house keeping. Looooved this hotel.

The hotel is a bit dated in terms of interior decor if the room and bathrooms. The room feels a bit tired. A renovation can make this hotel one of the best in the world. Our room was only in the 3rd floor so we had some noise from street.

This is a wonderful, full service luxury hotel with a focus on service. My room was large and had a great bathtub, excellent water pressure for the shower and a really comfortable bed. The staff really focus on no questions asked quality service and the location is perfect in the center of downtown Vancouver. I got a great deal from booking.com but even at full price this is probably worth it. Oh ... and the restaurant, Bacchus, has been one of the tops in the city for years.

I dunno ... parking is expensive I guess? but this is Vancouver ... what do you expect?

All the food was super delicious. We couldn’t ask for more absolutely amazing.!

The room was never cleaned properly and we stayed eight nights! The hair was still in the shower from the day before, the drinking glasses after three days, they were still in the room! The heating unit was noisy!

Unfortunately our room overlooked an alley and it was noisy at 6 am every mornings due to garbage trucks beeping etc. I do understand that this is part of staying in the centre of a city but a bit more sound proofing on the windows would help. Only 1 type of each tea bag in the room, and being English we do like our tea done properly!!

Great location

A very warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you walked through the front door.The staff were all excellent , nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant looked just perfect and our bar food was good and delivered in good time. The bar area was traditional and cosy with a real fire.

The rooms area little dated and tired in places. our bathroom was quite small with a shower over the bath tub. We were next to the lift which was a little intrusive for me, a light sleeper.

This stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff upgraded and moved us to another suite after an issue with our original room. They were gracious, and generous. Loved our stay and will return any time we stay in the City. Beautiful skyline views, magnificently comfortable bed.

The restaurant staff wasn’t as good as the hotel staff! One server who served us breakfast was so rushed that she was almost rude!

Service is top notch in the hotel.

The lady server during breakfast time in the Bacchus restaurant wasn’t nice. She seemed rush and rude.

Right at the reception desk the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ryan in particular was great! The room was a good size which included a large bed, desk with chair, a large comfy chair and two stools located with the "bar" setup. A Nespresso machine and mini-fridge were included in this setup. Snacks and beverages could be purchased if you wanted. The room was serviced every morning with new towels provided and the bed made up. A turn-down service took place in the evening along with two cookies which was a nice touch. Staff would come around to provide ice and replenish coffee pods, sugar, cream, etc. for making coffee. I had brunch in the restaurant which was very good. The restaurant itself is high quality. Overall the staff was certainly a bonus. It was nice to be welcomed back in the evening after being out.

Kind attentive staff, meticulously clean room, really well soundproofed room for a restful sleep. Loved that the room had an iron included, very helpful and fast-responding staff when we needed a plunger!

It's a lovely smaller hotel with exceptional staff. I have never experienced such friendliness. Housekeeping staff also do a "turndown" service which includes cookies. It's a perfect location.

The staff were amazing, the room was large comfortable and clean and it is very reasonably priced. Great for couples or for a relaxing night or 2 away.

i ORDERED ONE NIGHT IN FOR A DINNER. iT WAS WAY TOO COSTLY FOR THE SPARSE AMOUNT OF FOOD I GOT.

WHEN I RETURNED TO MY ROOM AFTER A DAY OUT, I NOTICED THE TUB HADN'T BEEN CLEANED. I TOLD HOUSEKEEPING AND THEY SAID IT WAS NOT STANDARD PROCEDURE TO CLEAN THE TUB. I ASKED IF THEY COULD SEND CLEANSER, LIKE AJAX OR COMET, SO I COULD CLEAN IT MYSELF. THEY SENT SOME ONE UP TO CLEAN IT. THEY ACTED LIKE IT WAS NOT IN THEIR JOB DESCRIPTION. THAT MADE ME WONDER HOW MANY OTHER TASKS ARE NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES.

The staff is great.

This may sound trivial, but the user interface on the TV system is abysmal. You pull up the listings, and you get maybe 40-50 separate channels, but you can't break the code on what each channel is. I was trying to watch sports, and I could not find it.

Great location - felt like home from home and with only 80 or so rooms there was a wonderful personal touch which we appreciated.

We were made to feel so welcome as soon as we arrived, David met us at reception and was wonderful, the staff couldn’t have been nicer and service was amazing. We had a beautiful room with a balcony looking out on Vancouver Art Gallery and Hornsby Street but there was no traffic noise at all, great soundproofing. Breakfast was delicious, loads of choice and a lovely dining room. My only regret is that we went out for supper, I wish we’d eaten at Bacchus restaurant on site instead. We will absolutely be back next time we’re in Vancouver, everything was perfect ☺️
