Beautiful property with attentive staff

Thick blankets on beds meant one was very hot unless blasting air conditioning at night to sleep.

Impeccable as always from Shangri-la. The alcove bed for my son to sleep in was both convenient and super adorable.

Location is not the most convenient as shuttle service is quite limited

We really appreciated the fact that it’s a heritage style hotel. The ambience was traditional with a mix of modern. The staff was very nice helpful and polite , as well as very attentive. The reservation and Consierge very accommodating . Well back for both business and leisure stays this coming year. Thank you !

As breakfast was not included, the only option we had was to have local breakfast a la carte at the lobby. We would have like to have a place to eat continental breakfast within the hotel. On our last day we were told the Italian restaurant also serves breakfast , hi wee when asked at the check in we were not informed of this option. This left us having to leave the hotel in the morning to find a standard breakfast in other restaurants in the city.

The hotel itself is top class ,Very tranquil place you can compared to other hotels in Singapore with its eloborate garden area ,The amount of childrens activities within the hotel is also impressive

I stayed here right after my stay in Kerry Shangri La in Hong Kong which was outstanding House keeping in the room was really average ,We are all for water conservation but to leave a room in a bad state just because the bed linen wasnt changed is inexcusable ! We literally used room service every day but the food in some ocassions was tasteless !

• Exceptional customer service across every department. • Very kid friendly. They provided a baby cot and even a baby stroller, which was extremely helpful. • Staff are caring and attentive throughout the stay. • Lounge food is excellent and consistently well prepared. • They surprised us with a 250g chocolate cake and rose flowers in a vase, which was a thoughtful touch for our anniversary. • Overall experience feels premium and well worth it.

• They do not provide a portable luggage weighing machine, which would be helpful for guests before checkout. • During check-in, one reception staff member seemed new and had to cross-verify details with colleagues, but his tone was overly adamant when insisting I had to pay for two days of breakfast despite my booking showing only one. He corrected it only after checking the deposit. The interaction felt off, but the rest of the stay was excellent.

From the doorman to the front desk, person to the cooks this stuff is absolutely amazing. They have been present every step of the way and delivering probably the best service I’ve ever had.

Had a suite in the garden wing with a view over looking the pool and expansive grounds. Balconies are a good size and private. Facilities incl pool and health club are great. Beautiful gardens which are lush, tropical and well maintained. Bellboys excellent and very service oriented. The library area is very good and quiet and great selection of books to read and flick through.

The breakfast. The Line is akin to a zoo and if possible avoid at all costs. Its similar to a high school cafeteria circa 1982. Bland food and bland poor quality plastic furniture. Poor service and very noisy. That was the first day. Second day we attempted breakfast in the library/foyer area. This took 45 minutes to arrive after three attempts to get the order correct; as a result we were late for business meetings. Third day we ate breakfast at the The Edition, Singapore (which is close by) where service and breakfast was excllent. F & B needs to be seriously improved at the Shangri La. Staff robotic and disengaged. Wifi not working had to get the maintenance man to undertake work in my room post check in. Not great for a 5 star hotel.

All the facilities were great and exceeded expectations. The staff were also extremely helpful and welcoming. The team at the lounge couldn’t do enough for us and it was greatly appreciated.

I thought the entire resort was amazing and couldn’t fault it.

Amazing breakfast. Very comfortable hotel.

A truly unique property - as others have noted, it is showing its age, but overall, it comes across as charming, not outdated. My family and I enjoyed our stay there overall. Some parts could do with a refresh (Eg: The Line restaurant looks like it's stuck in the 1970s) but the quality of the food and service more than made up for it. The staff at the hotel made all the difference - they were genuinely lovely and helpful, and we didn't experience anyone shoving their namecards at us and asking for good reviews, which was a common experience in other hotels we've stayed in. That was great. We loved the pool, the Lounge and the overall feel of the property, and will definitely be back.

This is a small thing but: The toiletries provided left a film on our skin and made the shower floor feel slippery. The moisturizer was tacky and didn't absorb well. Maybe consider a more upmarket brand and experience to match the 5-star rating (and pricing?)

Loved the exclusiveness of the Tower Wing where we had upgraded ourselves to. Big enough for 2 of our boys to chill and for us adults to have our own space. Pool was great. We could just sit by the pool to wait for the boys to swim while we read a book.

The property was nice and the pool was luxurious. Additionally, the hot pool was actually hot and my foot massage was a dream.

I didn't like how check in took so long and although the pool was nice I believe there should have been more infrastructure and was not amazing.

Amazing hotel with great staff. They were welcoming and very helpful and really surprised us by helping to provide an early check in and late check out. It made our trip!

We loved the facilities at this property. The kids splash park was great and the pool areas. The restaurants gave a lot to choose from.

It was a bit far from the train stations and a bit of a walk to the 4 that it was close to. Was hard to enter and exit the property with a pram as you had to walk on the road. At check-in we thought we would be shown to our room and spoken to about the facilities for use but we did not get anything like that. I had to ask where breakfast was where the pool was and we felt lost in such a large large hotel with a lot to offer.

This is a GORGEOUS resort that is a not too far way oasis from the busier more urban neighborhoods of Orchard Street and Downtown Singapore. Beautiful lobby, great restaurants, and wonderful relaxing pool. I highly recommend the lush Garden Wing with Pool View rooms overlooking the pool. Wonderful hotel!!

This is our second visit and the Shangri La did not disappoint. We booked a room in the Valley Wing of the Hotel and with that comes all the lovely extras—- Afternoon Tea, Canapés and Champagne. Our room was large and very comfortable and serviced each day, as well as a turn down service and fresh fruit. All of the staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional. It was lovely to see a smiling face each and every time. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Singapore.
