Location and ambiance

From the the minute you walked in to the minute you leave everything is done with such finesse. The reception greet you with a fabulous smile and is very efficient, the room are nice and airy, the breakfast is delivered to your room and is delicious.

everything that was in the control of the hotel was great the town needs to make more parking spaces for hotels.

Host was very nice and property was great. Plus breakfast was delivers to our room.

It would be nice to have paper towels in kitchen

The suite was absolutely enormous, by far the biggest of our Sicily trip. It was helpful to have someone at reception most of the day to answer any questions. Very good practical bathroom.

While breakfast in the room was a useful option and was good, I'd probably recommend going to a local cafe instead.

Location is great, makes it easy to walk beautiful Ortigia. Roomy, clean. Breakfast leisurely in own room, lots of choices.

Great interior, sparkling clean, modern style. Plus, very affordable prices for the restaurant in the hotel. The bed and mattress are exceptionally excellent!

Re Federico Boutique Hotel was a lovely place to stay in Ortygia. Centrally located, it was easy to find but if you are driving it is best to take advantage of valet parking as the streets are narrow and congested. The rooms were airy and bright with a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi was quick. Staff were lovely and spoke good English. They were very helpful in recommending great places to eat. Everywhere is close by but particularly good in the hot weather is the close proximity of one of the few swimming beaches less than 100 metres away. Breakfast was served daily to the room as the dining room was under renovation at the time of our stay.

The size of the table in the room was too small for the large breakfast that was served on three trays!!! The rooms are well appointed but a little small if travelling with luggage. Unfortunately our fridge in the room broke down and was not repaired or replaced during our stay. The staff were very apologetic but that probably was the major detraction for our stay. (As well a visit by the Italian President to Ortygia at the time which saw droves of police and secret service everywhere!! completely incidental - Re Federico Boutique Hotel is highly recommended!)

Reception was wonderful and they arranged pick up of our car. Excellent!

No coffee machine but they delivered coffee for us.

Only disappointment was the breakfast

Beautifully appointed room with unexpected kitchenette and sitting/dining area. Very clean, wonderfully located near shopping and dining. Staff was helpful with planning our stay.

The valet for parking and finding the exact locale was a little tricky.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Good quiet spot. Food recommendations were excellent.

Loved the location. Cafe downstairs had good coffee and pastries. One of the best swimming spots in Ortygia is a block away. Staff were helpful.

The bed was ok, not great. The room had high ceilings, which was great, but also some dark spots that suggested mold, which wasn't great. Breakfast not included.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The boutique hotel is located in the heart of the area close to trendy restaurants and sightseeing spots.

Too short a stay to comment on but parking is difficult although they offer valet service.

Fantastic location, right near the swimming platform and the quieter part of the old town. Great staff and a generous and delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Spacious and stylish room and having a lift was helpful.

Re Federico is a hidden gem. Tucked away behind the bustling streets of Ortigia, it is an oasis of stylish charm and understated luxury. Beautifully appointed and equipped, it is only 50m from the sea. Walk the island, enjoy a swim in the sea and then an aperol at the hotel’s street side cafe or even better on its roof terrace before setting out for dinner.

A bit noisy in the morning, check-out at 10:30 which is the earliest I jave encountered.
