I only had to nights in Shanghai so I had to make the most of the time I had available. Mandarin Oriental sent us a car
I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Shanghai for a total of two nights, the facilities were spotless, the hotel itself felt very curated. What I loved the most was the attention to detail and how the staff treated us.

Wish I could stay forever
I loved everything, one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever been to. Everyone working there was lovely, the facilities were outstanding, my room was perfect.
The only miss were the pillows, not side sleeper friendly, too hard but still had a very restful sleep.

A FANTASTIC PROPERTY
My room was not ready so they gave me a free upgrade with river view, this is a fabulious properly in center where you can find all attractions. A very good gym and Spa. I enjoyed my stay and sure will come back again. Thanks to all staff, very hard working and always smiling, they are the attraction and support to all guests I belive. Let the management to take care of them. Thank you....

Amazing suite, great facilities, thoughtful staff and great location as it was situated near the Bund. We had an amazing view of the nightline of the Bund, and the amenities within the room was great!

Most impressive room and view I think we have ever had!

I have never experienced a first impression of walking into a hotel room like this - we arrived at night and the view was just amazing! The room was magnificent, the space, the small touches but most importantly the bath with the amazing river view!

Excellent hôtel !
Excellent location, great rooms , great restaurants, we tested all of them. Very very good service. I did not know where to buy baby dippers in Shanghai, and the concierge organise the delivery in 30 minutes.

Excellent and memorable
I recently stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, Pudong, Shanghai, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Luigi and the front desk team, along with the concierge, provided a warm and professional welcome that immediately set the tone for the stay.
My room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and offered an impressive view over the Huangpu River that made the setting feel both calm and memorable.
Dinner at Yong Yi Ting was another standout. Katherine, together with the hosts and servers, delivered attentive and gracious service throughout. The food was refined, elegantly presented, and a fitting way to bring the trip to a close.
After dinner, I usually like to enjoy the fresh air and have a drink, however the outdoor seating area was restricted I was told

Amazing hotel with value for the money.
Everything was great. Great design, great quality amd staff attention was amazing.
Smell in the restaurant wasn’t good. Restaurant ventilation Is not sufficient. Ventilation doesn’t suck the smoke and the smell. They need to improve the system.
