Hotel Kevin’s Old House, Shanghai

The guesthosue is located at a cute Italian restaurant. There was plenty of space in the room. The location is perfect for exploring the neighbourhood and walking around Shanghai's old concessions. Very quiet and close to the local neighbourhood for some walking explorations. Great restaurant options nearby as well.

There will be some noise during early evenings from the restaurants. But overall our sleep wasn't disturbed.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, ambience was wonderful! The bed was large and comfy. AND, Bella Napoli is an excellent restaurant on the ground floor. All in all a gem!

Super location for anyone who wants to be in the French Concession. It's a 3 minute walk from Anfu Lu. The staff in the hotel and the very good Italian restaurant downstairs were all so lovely, friendly, helpful, warmhearted that my days of coming and going to and from Shanghai and staying with them at intervals were a joy! And from a very practical point of view, the washing machine in my bathroom was a very nice surprise! And the staff really went to trouble to make sure that guests had something they loved for breakfast. Big thanks to Xiao Zu (spelling?!), Aiyi, Guido, Monica, David and everyone who made my stay there so lovely!

Very cozy place with italian restaurant. Staff were extreemly helpful all the way. We upgraded the room and it was spacious and nice, a washing maschine in the came in handy. We loved the place.

Excellent staff, absolutely beautiful accommodations and a perfect location. I can not recommend Kevin's enough to anyone visiting Shanghai. The staff and management were extremely attentive and went out of their way to ensure my stay and activities went as smoothly as possible. The room was amazing and elegant. Very comfortable bed, spotless facilities and a very useful work space. The breakfast included was by far the best of any I have had provided by a hotel. Location is ideal for exploring the city. Close to many points of interest and easily accessible for farther journeys. The neighborhood is charming and cozy in the heart of a bustling city.

Really lovely boutique hotel and so close to everything. Staff incredibly helpful. Loved every part of the stay. Highly recommend if you don’t like a corporate, bland chain hotel.

Kevin's Old Place is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room is very spacious with a warm atmosphere. The location is great - just a few minutes walk from the big park and famous shrine, and the shopping centers. The hotel restaurant, Bella Napoli, which is owned by this Italian guy living in Shanghai, is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at (I am Italian on my grandmother's side). The staff is very helpful - with getting a Taxi and all of my other needs. I couldn't be happier about my choice of staying here.

Located in old cozy neighborhood. You can feel old Shanghai a little bit. Owner was very friendly and helpful, speaks good English. Got very big room and healthy breakfast.

It's not that I didn't like, but Italian restaurant downstairs is busy with people on weekend and it can be a bit noisy. Building is old - it's charming for some of us, but some can find things worn out.

The location is superb , right in the middle of Jingan district, lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The room is spacious, and the staff helpful and friendly. Special mention is Xiao Su, always ready to help. Overall, a very good experience.
