Hotel Theodore, Seattle

The location was central to all the things we wanted to see. The Mopop, Space Needle, Pike Market and Lumen Stadium. All walkable distances

We didn’t have a good experience at their restaurant Rider. The waiter took over 20 mins to take our drink order and that was after I waved him down. The place wasn’t even busy. When we finally ordered our food the waiter came back to tell us they were out of burgers so we had to change our order. We waited over an hour to get our food and when it did it was not tasty at all. My husband ordered Steak Frits and it tasted like a frozen dinner. The calamari appetizer tasted like flour. I ordered Rough Chowder, it was the only dish that was enjoyable. But after waiting over an hour for it- we were not satisfied with the service or food. My husband had to let the service manager know and they compensated our dinner. Definitely not a restaurant we would go again to.

The rooms were tiny - HVAC was loud and right over the bed - and loud. The bathroom vanity and space was hardly bigger than a closet - cramped for even one person. Nice furnishings however poor layout.

No kettles for tea in the room… only an expresso machine which if course is great for the coffee drinkers. It’s more than $4.00 for a cuppa tea downstairs but coffee is free in the rooms. I do love being in a room where you can open the windows for some fresh air but you cannot do that at this hotel. My rm was on the small side so I get kind of claustrophobic when you cannot open windows.

Great location and a very comfortable bed. I spent a week at the Theodore. My room was great with a wonderful view, very quiet and comfortable.

Comfortable room, could control the heat. Very clean, quiet and all staff were very pleasant. Good shower, staff provided extra coffee for the machine, no probs. Good location as we walked everywhere we wanted to go.

Room and bathroom were a bit small for the price (but Seattle is expensive, I guess).

The in-suite coffee machine was broken. But when we brought it to the staff's attention, they offered us complementary coffee, which was a great way to make it right.

The rooms are cozy and well-decorated, and the bed is an actual cloud. One of the most comfortable hotel sleeps I’ve ever had! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the coffee bar and restaurant downstairs are both really nice.

The only thing we didn’t like was that the parking they advertise is a paid parkas next door, and it was $32 for the night. Thankfully we were only in town one night but if you’re staying longer with a vehicle it would definitely add up!

The only negative was not enough storage in the bathroom for our toiletries. My toothbrush fell off the narrow shelf onto the floor - gross!

The location was perfect ! Great restaurants , bars , coffee shops, and Pike's Market all at a walking distance. The hotel was stunning, and the restaurant on site RIDER was a big hit as well.

Some of the unfortunate homeless people around the area were a bit aggressive.

Location is a bit dicey. Lots of unhoused people around, a problem throughout downtown Seattle I’m afraid. There was no housekeeping offered. When I asked the staff. Said that housekeeping was “upon request “. They should have made that clear at check in not later. Room had a nice king bed but it was so small that two people couldn’t sit or have any luggage around. Bathroom was also tiny. Aside from that the hotel is fine.

I loved how central this location is. I enjoyed that I was always going a different direction each day which is way more fun than the same walk everyday. I loved the walk in shower room. Get a room with a bathtub! Then go to Pike Place and get a bath bomb. It was no mistake that the tv was positioned so you can see it from the bathtub.

Rooms are AMAZING! Spacious, gorgeous views of the city, and always feel fresh/clean. I stay here every time I have an overnight layover in Seattle. Easy walk to pikes place. And the rooms come with big comfy robes plus an espresso machine :)

The location was terrific and the little touches such as free umbrellas for the Seattle rain was much appreciated!

There was a distinct smoky smell from the kitchen that even managed to make its way to the 15th floor.

The parking. It is very small and pricey

Spacious and beautifully decorated room. They are super friendly and received some amazon packages without charging extra handling fees. The location is simply perfect, the SeaTac Link train stops almost in front of the hotel. Walking distance to the monorail (Space Needle) and Public Markets.

I don't have a single complaint!

Location!! Great access to public transportation and short walking distance from major attractions.
