Facilities and staff were excellent

Too far from beach - need to take a navetta to the beach. I thought when I booked that it was beachfront

- beach is 5-10 min away with golf cart - 5 star hotel paying 700 EUR a night charging 80 EUR for a front row beach bed... ridiculous

Best part: half board on a new level. Usually half board breakfast and dinner served in a buffet, however, here breakfast was half buffet half al a cart, which is not that unique however dinner was completely al a cart, which gave a real 5* experience. Our room was clean, the cleaning personnel were friendlier than the front desk.

Biggest surprise, that they charge for the spa extra, which is nothing unique and it is usually included in the price, especially in a 5* hotel prices. Cleaning of the terrace floor wasn’t part of the duty, which it would have been needed, especially on a rainy days Our last day was a bit sunny, but at the pool wasn’t offered any towel. It was practically closed around the pool. Somehow I expect that the guest decides if the weather good for the swim or sleep at the pool, but not giving the option was a bit strange.

Outstanding service with a smile and a picturesque location. Delicious food in La Terrazza restaurant, and attention to detail especially when preparing a birthday surprise. Special appreciation goes to Mini Club animators (Mattias and wonderful ladies), as well as the portiers, reception, restaurant and Bioquam and the beach staff. You all made our stay unforgettable.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the Conrad Chia resort.

Bioaquam for lunch and drinks by the pool; Bollicine bar for evening drinks; the beaches; very friendly and attentive staff.

Breakfast and dinner restaurants were a little bland; air-conditioning didn’t seem to work in our room, with the room being a few degrees warmer than we wanted, they told us this is how AC works in Italian hotels, but I’d expect better from an upscale hotel.

Location is excellent. Breakfast can have more choices. Very poor in terms of fruits.

Cleaning was a bit chaotic, no clear schedule.

-extra charge for the tennis courts & spa usage when you pay 300CHF per night -breakfast menu to order mediocre at best(French toast tasted like omelette) -food quality just ok for a 5 stars -lack of proactively to adjust to guests wishes when low season allowed I had been already to chia Laguna when it was still with the old management. was happy to see some of the staff stayed but unfortunately the vibe changed and the service hugely deteriorated since my last stay. I mistakenly booked an “accessible room” meaning we were given a room which was disable accessible but we were told at check-in that the only difference was the shower’s interior was at the same height as the pavement. It was definitely not the case as there were no shelves to put anything in the bathroom expect the one on the picture, the WC was obviously much higher and overall as you can see from my other picture this room was obviously not properly maintained as it was stained and the WC was not even being cleaned properly on a daily basis. When I asked for a room change I was offered an “upgrade” first at the rate of 150€ and the concierge went down to 80€ per night. I was disappointed as the resort was not full and I had previously checked online that there were free rooms for the 2 nights we stayed and on the website they were being booked at 83€> than what we payed; therefore I was not even sure why the reception started with 150€. I thought it was a pity we couldn’t get a room which was anyways not sold in low season at that occupancy rate. Food in the Sa Mesa restaurant was just ok but definitely not a 5* quality. Same goes for breakfast where egg Benedicts, French toast and even just an omelette were quite disappointing. Big pity as coming from a true 5 stars experience in the past maybe you should take a look at how your neighbour at capo spartivento lighthouse really delivers that experience. This was definitely last time I return!

Water in the restaurant was overpriced. Spa was not good and guests have to pay to use it
