Very clean, quaint, and inviting. Breakfast and happy hour were excellent. Staff are wonderful.

Was hoping for exercise room and a jacuzzi. That would have been the cherry on top!

The inn is small, clean, quiet, well-appointed. Happy hours and breakfasts are real treats! We've stayed here many times now, and we really enjoy it!

We tried a different room this stay, and we found the mattress uncomfortable.

Sebastian, at check-in, was great. The entire staff was super and special thanks go to Emily for her service!! She is wonderful!! We will return next year!!

We loved the style of the building and the courtyard garden and fountain.

Fresh, large rooms. Personal touch. Breakfast solution was perfect! No buffet-nonsense, but freshly made by staff every day.

This is a great place to stay - close to everything you could need and the staff were very accommodating when I asked for a vegan option for breakfast. Really enjoyed the food! The room was very spacious and comfortable, the bed was also huge and I had a great sleep. The bathroom was amazing - a huge whirlpool bath and a very spacious shower. Excellent place to stay!

Great location right in the centre of Coronado but on a quiet road so really relaxing and well located for the shops, restaurants and beach. Very homely feel and the staff were welcoming. Nice room with coffee facilities on the landing outside our room.

This is a charming historic hotel with an amazing staff who made our stay memorable. We walked to the beach and enjoyed the ambiance of Coronado for a two day getaway.

The property was charming. It was in a great location, close to everything. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. It was easy to find free parking on the street. Our room had a private balcony. Breakfast was yummy. Cookies in our room upon arrival.

The Portable AC in our room kept turning off making it hard to sleep. The happy hour and hordurives was not worth it. The room price really wasnt worth the cost either

The staff was wonderful. There was a woman there, unfortunately, I don't remember her name she's originally from Brazil she has a short bob hairstyle. She was fabulous! She made our stay with her warmth and kindness. We really enjoyed talking to her, she was a gem.

The mattress is a bit too firm and they do not provide any gluten-free options. You can hear some noise from the street, but not too much.

The room was very big with a lovely leather sofa. Large bathroom and shower The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was absolutely lovely The hotel is in a quiet area but only 5 minute walk from the beach

Although we were aware beforehand there were no lifts to our room and trying to carry heavy suitcase up 17 stairs wasn't ideal

The breakfast was great, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The area was extremely quiet and made for a very relaxing weekend.

The only negatives I can think of were the underground parking structure was challenging to park in. Also, the jetted tub in the room was kind of weak. Not sure it was worth the extra $ to get the room with the jetted tub.

Unique. A very short walk to the beach, complimentary beach towels, chairs and parasols. Complimentary breakfast and late afternoon drinks and nibbles in the beautiful garden. Well appointed rooms and public areas. Very friendly and efficient staff. would highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing stay on Coronado.

Perfect location, easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Staff was exceptional - friendly, welcoming. Breakfast in the garden each morning was wonderful. I love that they provided glass bottles to refill with filtered water for your room. The robes were a pleasant surprise. I staying with my 11 year old son, and that was his favorite thing after showering off at night. I would 100% recommend 1906 Lodge.

The only 'negative' was navigating the driveway with my big SUV, but I made it and completely out of the lodge's control. Just a very tight turn to get down to the parking spaces. Worth the effort though!

Breakfast and Happy Hour was an addition to our stay, that we enjoyed, sitting in the patio was very nice and relaxing.

Enjoyed our whole experience, but next time I would book a room on ground floor as we couldn’t enjoy the patio from the second floor

I loved the beautiful courtyard, antique decor, and quiet places to revive yourself.

Nothing- It was perfect in every way. We enjoyed golf carting and biking around the island. The service was impeccable and they went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the same time they gave us space.

I suggest not finding street parking, but park at the entrance. They will give to a key to the parking structure at check-in time.

The property is quaint, well kept and very pleasant. Great central location. They also had nice amenities for the beach.

Room was good, but it was a bit warm and AC didn’t work too well. Breakfast was good, but my husband has a very restrictive diet and they weren’t able to accommodate by just making scrambled eggs. There was also one high chair and it was already in use so my baby had to sit in my lap which wasn’t the end of the world, but property should have at least 2.

Great amenities including delicious complimentary breakfast/mimosas and happy hour each day, free bike rentals, and convenient parking. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. 1906 Lodge is also a short walk from the main street in Coronado, so it was easy to walk to dinner, drinks, and shopping.

Great location, large room facing courtyard, healthy breakfast included & Happy hour 4-5 pm with canapes. Very close to a lot of fine dining on Orange Ave. Included underground parking. Historic completely modernized boutique hotel. Very friendly staff

Steep steps to 2nd floor.

It was so cozy and lovely. Everyone was so sweet, breakfast was delicious, huge bathtub in the spa suite. Walking distance to a ton of stuff, including the beach.

the Winchester room is directly above the office. every morning there was noise from the staff starting the day. loud enough to wake both of us. the mattress needs to be replaced. noisy for a platform bed. metal springs made sounds of a warned down mattress. lumpy and uneven.

Very central location with easy access to restaurants and shops. Lovely breakfast including home baking - a very welcome change from the chain hotels. This hotel is a gem, beautifully decorated, many period features, a spacious bedroom a gorgeous bathroom and free, secure parking in the underground garage.

We liked everything about this hotel.
