G-Rough Hotel, Rome

We love staying near Piazza Navona, it’s a great neighborhood. The staff was nice. The room was clean. The shower was good.

It doesn’t really feel like a hotel. The lobby is a small corridor behind what looks like a bar area, that no one seems to use. While the front of the building faces a cute square and shopping street, the rooms are actually on the back side of the building. Facing directly into another building, we didn’t have the windows/curtains open. We were in a “junior suite” which just had a little room between the bathroom and bedroom. It was *very* pricey for what it is.

Great location in the heart of a bustling street in Rome. Walking distance to all the key tourist and historical sites and fantastic food options.

The hotel is wildly overpriced. The rooms are fitted with old furniture, some falling apart. There is nothing luxury about it and for those prices you expect a highly quality bed and furniture that doesn’t creak with each step taken. There is zero sound proofing so we were kept awake most nights by the couple above us having special time if you know what I mean…

The hotel is in an excellent location with major attractions within east walking distance. The hotel itself is very cool and the staff excellent.

The stay at the G-Rough is unique. The decor is amazing and the rooms are hip and cool. The main areas of the hotel are inviting to just hang out in and all of the art and furniture is retro cool. We opened the windows every day to see the square and hear the sounds of the city. We also took advantage of the breakfast each morning - don't miss it. Everything about our room was fun, sexy and cool. The hotel also had a very romantic vibe, which we took to heart.

The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, beautiful linen bedding & towels, wonderful styling and quality was exceptional. location is perfect, step out and turn left and you have the most amazing eateries. you can walk to all the landmarks from here, best location for us. Breakfast was amazing, worth the money, you put your order in the night before and once you get to breakfast it’s delivered to your the location of your choice, we loved having it in the front bar.

No complimentary water or mini bar provided but there are drinking fountains all through Rome where you can refill your water bottles.

LOVED everything, location and rooms are exceptional, most of attractions are all so close within a walking distance, they gave us an upgrade to Gino room SO beautiful.

price might seem bit expensive but after staying there it’s really worth it

If I wouldn’t be married I’d take all the girls there and get laid every night. Joking. ( actually not) the best boutique hotel I’ve seen…and I’ve seen a lot. no words, emotions only - better one time to see.
