Hard to walk to, but easy and affordable Uber access

Luxurious and super comfortable.

Booked a special dinner with wine tasting (vinho verde). Supposed to be fine dining. Very disappointed as hardly any food and what was served was not pleasant.

loved the location as it had great views of Porto and yet not difficult to walk to the main port.

Amazing views of the city from the hotel.

As our stay was so short we had no chance of experiencing all the facilities and hence we didn’t have any issues which bothered us.

Great view, cleaned room and a great breakfast

The view from the lobby and from our room was exceptional. The breakfast is very good (great scrambled eggs, sunny side up eggs, great bread and pastries) . The room was spacious and bright. The front line staff was ALWAYS friendly (housekeeping, restaurant, bellman, concierge). Concierge was very helpful.

The room smelled cigarette smoke. Nothing was done after signaling it several times. Staff supervisors were not always responsive but front line staff was ALWAYS friendly (housekeeping, restaurant, bellman, concierge). Room service menu on QR code is not the most user friendly for such a hotel.

The hotel was superb overlooking the river and the town Breakfast was excellent Facilities faultless Staff were all lovely Bedroom lush

It’s on the top of the hill so be prepared for a hike back to the hotel The restaurant service was poor considering they were relatively quiet The wine pouring spout to keep the wine fresh was pathetic and embarrassing and needs to abolished with haste

The customer service is fantastic, the amenities are brilliant and the view is so gorgeous. As it was a special occasion for us, they upgraded our room and left bubbles and flowers. A very special experience.

There's nothing we didn't like really. It's expensive to eat/drink at the hotel but you're paying for the service and location. Just something to bear in mind when budgeting.

Amazing facilities - beautiful outdoor pool, good indoor pool, extensive gym, lovely secret spa area and great choice of restaurants. Incredible views of Porto but still an easy walk into the city.

We had an outstanding stay. The staff was highly service minded at check-in and check-out (Fransesca), amazing view of Porto from our hotel/room and a free upgrade was a very pleasant surprise. The breakfast at the terrace was an excellent start of the day. Yeatman's proximity to the WoW (World of Wine) museum was brilliant and the museum was very interesting in a modern educational setting. We will come back and stay at the Yeatman again.

A fantastic hotel with fantastic staff - I cannot rate it too highly

We love the Yeatman! This is our third time and we plan to keep coming back. The hotel is beautiful, very grand and well maintained. There are stunning views over the river and the bridge. The indoor and outdoor pools are both immaculately clean and well maintained. The pool loungers are comfortable and generally in good supply. Clean towels are always available. The pool bar is great for food and drink, although rather expensive. You pay for the privilege of eating lunch by an infinity pool with stunning views! Staff are always helpful and mostly speak good English. The rooms are very large and clean, with very big comfortable beds. Good soundproofing from other rooms. Breakfast does not have a particularly large selection but everything is fresh and well prepared. There are lots of fruits, salads, breads, cereals, omelettes made to order and hot food eg sausages and bacon. There are also luxury items like caviar, fresh honeycomb and champagne. Rooms are equipped with kettles and fridges - request fresh milk if you like to drink tea. Overall we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples or other adult travellers. Also good for solo travellers, very safe and welcoming. It probably isn’t ideal if you are travelling with small children as there isn’t much for kids to do and the facilities all have a pristine air to them that doesn’t feel very child friendly! Although there were some children there so it’s it as if they’re not welcome.

Having the luxury of a pool was a huge bonus. Our room was so comfortable, I slept so well during our 3 night stay. The michelin star restaurant had the best wine pairing we have ever had with a tasting menu. The welcome drink and the staff were so helpful and friendly.

There was a large group of British tourists (whom we originally thought were a wedding party but turned out they were just on a holiday) who took over the pool area for the entire weekend and were drunk & disorderly on both days we went to the pool to the point we had to have several conversations with staff as they completely ruined our experience by the pool which is why we booked this hotel. Staff dealt with it, but not efficiently enough. They continued to serve this group alcohol even though some of them struggled to stand.

We got married here and have had the most incredible time.

The breakfast wasn’t worth the money, not good quality of many options The rooms were beautiful and super comfy but it’s a huge hotel and we got lost on the way to our room it was so far away from reception! There was one small bottle of water in the room which I feel isn’t enough for a 5* hotel, we called 3+ times for more but non ever arrived Parking is on site and part of the hotel but we had to pay to park per night which I found a rip off given it’s on site and the price we paid for a room was already expensive Check in and check out was super slow and only 2 staff working at the busiest time meant we had to wait quite a while

Great location stunning views great gastronomy

Breakfast buffet was not the greatest compare to dining. Not all stuff is highly attentive to the needs of customers. This differentiates best vs very good.

So much to love! The resort was very quiet when we were there - very few people. We absolutely loved the room and the view and the staff was so lovely! Loved the location too - away from the busy parts but close enough to walk to it all.

Everything was as expected.

Concierge didn't seem completely objective with advise. Felt a but scripted for subscribing only merchandise preselected with partners.

Beautiful property with fabulous views across the river and Porto. Room was fabulous - second visit here & requested the same room. Sun-loungers in your private deck - what’s not to like?!

Waiting ages to both order, and get, the drinks in the bar area. At €15 euros a drink that is an unacceptable level of service.

This was the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The view from our room was so beautiful. The bar and restaurant facilities offered great views, as well. Each and every staff person was exceptionally kind and helpful. Lovely pool with super comfortable lounge chairs.

Magnificent views, large comfortable room with terrific books. Bathroom was large and luxurious.
