Staff were Amazing… honestly the best I’ve ever encountered. They were kind/fun, that made us want to come back again.

The natural light in the room is amazing. I really enjoyed the comfy room. The bathroom is fantastic, pretty bright. I had a nice bike ride using one of the complementary hotel bikes

Wonderful stay at Dossier. Very classy & elegant hotel. It's in a prime central location with nearby parks, monuments, cafes, eateries. Only 5 minutes away (walking) from the Max-line subway. Liza was kind & welcoming. She held my luggage & got me checked in at 12p, instead of 4p. Brad was nice & helped me with an early check out. The room i stayed at was clean & cozy. Bed was comfy. Lighting was perfect. Bathroom was spacious. Glad there was separate shower & bathtub. Nice city & sky views. When you first enter, the radio played classical music--a nice touch. Alder's is a nice restaurant at the hotel with 2 Happy hours, a late nite HH from 10p-midnight. Gym & water machine is at 3rd floor. There's an ice machine at each floor. Complimentary iced water & apples are avail next to reception desk. Beautifully decorated lobby. Highly recommend.

The windows need to be cleaned. The cups were not clean. Had to rewash them. More hangers in the closet would be helpful. I think there were only 4? All else was superb.

Wonderful breakfast.

Front desk was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered a late night treat and when we picked it up from the front desk the gentlemen made sure we had utensils, which saved us a trip because the bag didn't have any! Small details and attention like that make it top notch service for me. My room was very clean and the bed comfortable.

Room was very good though the bathroom floor was not level (?) Front staff gave us incorrect advice about dog acceptance in Portland. The restaurant food was very good. We did take out because restaurant was understaffed. The woman managing though was extremely pleasant and polite. She did her best.

Excellent clean location. Walkable to main areas, bakeries & shops downtown. We felt safe around the area. Hotel was nice & clean. Room was good size w/ a desk, lots of drawers & an expresso machine. Even though daily housekeeping was by request, we did not feel we needed it. However, request for change of towels & other amenities were quickly met.

There was a daily charge of $29 for “guest amenities” w/c should have been be included in the room charge. It included a “$5 Lobby Kiosk Credit per stay” w/c we never saw. We did buy a bottle of water & paid $5 cash for it.

There was no coffee maker in the rooms. If you wanted a coffee to start your day it was only available in the lobby between 5 and 7beautiful hotel in great location

Room was well-appointed and very clean. Staff was welcoming, starting with Phillip at the valet desk, who was very helpful in getting our bags to our room. Check-in was a breeze. Had a great dinner from the on-site restaurant, Bistro Alder.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

We had reserved a corner kign through booking.com but this was not available at the hotel. Seems there is a disconnect with booking.com. They could not find my reservation either.

The bed was insanely comfortable, the latte from downstairs was coffee perfection. The staff was wonderful. Perfect location.

Excellent and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Wonderful bed. Nespresso machine was a great added touch. Staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Large, clean room. Pleasant, welcoming staff. One of the few hotels in downtown Portland to use high quality bedding.

Charging $29 a day for facilities, which included the gym that I never used, Wi-Fi, and coffee in the lobby that I never had seems like a fairly unscrupulous way to collect the higher room fee without actually calling it that.

Room was very well appointed, clean and spacious. We slept great after attending a concert close by. Espresso in the room was nice touch.

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and quiet.

No mattress cover. A flat sheet was over a bare mattress and that is very unsanitary in my opinion. For such a nice hotel in every other aspect that was very surprising to me. There wasn't any accessible outlets or USB ports that worked.

The reception staff is exceptional. Friendly, helpful and welcoming.

We stay at Dossier whenever we go to Portland after staying elsewhere in the past. Staff is great. The rooms are a good size and is comfortable. Great location. It is elegant. And an added big time bonus, they support local artists with art in the rooms, elevators and halls.

The restaurant lacks atmosphere and is extremely cold!

Mattress and pillows were super comfortable. Gym is good.

No cable tv. They were upgrading the tvs so we had only local channels 27-40

High quality in all respects. Loved the music playing and the rooms and materials and decor. Great staff and location

Wish there was a swimming pool and hot tub

Love the staff. I just wish I was able to try the breakfast, but not the companies fault as I woke up too late to try it. But it was a great experience.

All I have to say is make a more clear sign that says where to go into the building after hours but I was luckily able to figure it out

It's centrally located to all the downtown activities we wanted to do. Valet parking, so nice not to have to deal with parking. Very clean throughout the whole place. Top-notch staff, super friendly and helpful. Our room was at the perfect temperature, very clean, and super quiet.

Liked the location, the attached restaurant, the STAFF WERE THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Accommodating, friendly - just genuinely want to help you enjoy your stay. Matthew (Matty?) was awesome as well as the young blonde haired gal Wednesday morning. Over and above 👍. The view was incredible and even better with the corner king room Matty comped us with bc our booking site messed up our room reservation. All in all, wonderful experience!

No pool or hot tub, the restaurant had a very short menu and wasn’t the best variety. Furniture is a bit dated and no microwaves in the rooms or even on the floor. Anytime I needed to heat something up, I had to take the elevator down 17 floors, hand it to the front desk gal and wait for her to heat it up for me in their staff microwave and then back up to the 17 floor. Seems kinda silly.

Beautiful room with a great view and super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was close enough to walk to anywhere you could need.

If you want anything from a market you should expect a little bit of a walk

Thé Dossier is located in a lively area which I found it easy to get around and visit thé area. Plenty of places to eat. I had lunch at the Alder hotel bistro. I was served by Devvi, who was very knowledgeable of the menu, her advice of the Srimp Poboy was just as she described it. She was a pleasure to talk with, and gave excellent service.

No complaints, when I asked about a particularly loud noise from machinery I didn’t even ask they gave me another room.

Beautiful room, even though we were on the 3rd floor there was no street noise.The coffee in the room was exceptional in the staff was amazing.

Parking for my vehicle was $75 for the night.So I did choose to park.A couple blocks away, but the walk was fast and safe.But I would like better options for people who are especially traveling for business

Nice style and excellent location

When I entered the room, the radio was set to play classical music, softly. It was wonderful and considerate! Loved the soaking tub! The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. Also loved the shampoo and body wash. Staff were excellent throughout. Got a wonderful recommendation for dinner.

Nothing, really. The view was so-so, but it's not a complaint. I was in town for a conference, and mostly used the room to sleep. The last morning, my breakfast order got lost and was delayed. However, the staff made it right for me. A sign of excellent service!

The heater in our room was broken and it was FREEZING.

Very convenient location and decent hotel that does what you need

Grab and go pastry would be nice. Tried to upgrade room but it didn’t go through somehow. Room was still fine and what I paid for.

Convenient location, parking is close by and reasonable priced. We have big price reduction and have good value.

Facilities are little outdated. Have some issues with heater control.
