Expert reviews

Lonely Planet review:

“With architecture inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and past guests including Irving Berlin, Marilyn Monroe and every president from Hoover to Bush the younger, the Biltmore is perfect for connecting to the magic of yesterday.”

Forbes review:

“Opened in 1929, Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort exudes a singular, sublime combination of Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced architecture, art deco design and desert botanical chic, with a splash of old Hollywood glamour.”

Frommers review:

“For more than 80 years, this resort has been the favored Phoenix address of celebrities, politicians, and old money. There are two golf courses, a swanky spa, an extravagant pool.”

Staying at the Biltmore was inspiring and relaxing!

I loved the attention to detail! The tables by the pool had little succulents. The furniture selections were perfect for the spaces. The color of the room were calm and soothing. I was inspired by all of it!

The shower needed to be scrubbed better. Our room was not cleaned twice.

No doubt the Arizona Biltmore is expensive but worth it for a visitor to Arizona or a local.

This property is a 39 acre resort. I live in Phoenix, but felt like I left town to visit a resort. The original resort was built in the 1920's in the art deco style. 2020-2021 it was closed for a year for restoration and upgrades. Much of the property is new with but keeping with the art deco style. The hotel has the main building along with separate hotel building. It has seven pools with cabanas with TV's. It has a three story water-slide for kids. It has two upscale restaurants and room service. The Spire outside bar has lots of screens for sports. Nice in the winter, not for Arizona Summers. The room was huge with a nice view of one of the pools. The room is all new after the renovation. The room was large with a 65" or 70" TV. The bed was large, cal-king or maybe bigger than that. Most women would love the bathroom. The huge mirror has adjustable lighting for makeup effects. The shower was huge along with a huge bathtub.

Valet parking @ $30 a night is a must since the parking structure is four blocks away from the hotel. Self parking is $24. Getting a tub is a $30 upgrade. The price per night is about $700. Upon check in, they asked for a credit card for incidentals but didn't know how much my room was other than to say it's base price is $599. Would have liked to know how much I was paying when checking in.

Definitely enjoyed my stay!!!!

the adult pool, restaurant staff, shops, smell of the lobby, I felt like I was definitely at a resort

power wash the outside buildings to give the buildings a refreshed or new look also the lobby woman’s bathroom door should be replaced.

The most AMAZING stay! ❤

Amenities and Family inclusion for a solo traveler. Also, Mary the Concierge was so AMAZING! She really went above and beyond.

On the 1st day I received bad customer service however, that did change on my second day. I must say I ABSOLUTELY loved Mary the Concierge she helped to make my stay so pleasurable as did Noelle. I also kept experiencing the weirdest mishaps during my stay however everyone was so quick to rectify the SITUATIONS to ensure that my stay was the most enjoyable as can be.

adult pool cabanas are so expensive and few to no one buys them and so the seats go unused and paying customers who want need a sun chair are tossed away :( to look else where like the KIDS pool :(

Sad ending to an otherwise fun trip

The property was on the whole very clean. I especially liked the fluffy towels and the comfortable beds and pillows. The Renata's Hearth was spectacular, from the friendly efficiency, from Jackie our server, the wonderful tasty food and the complex layers of our delicious cocktails. The desert was fabulous as well. The pools were fun and the adult pool bar service, drinks and food were awesome. The grounds and the hotel were beautiful.

The smaller adult pool, which had a bar that was not in service (sadly) was nice but really needed some extra care. It was somewhat neglected. It was not as clean in general and was in disrepair (hot tub did not work very well chipped/broken tiles). It did not seem to meet the same standards as the rest of the resort. At times the walk to and from the remote parking was too far. I would have never walked there on my own at night (remote). The cleaning staff cleaned well, but there was some miscommunication and they forgot to leave some basic things ie. ice bag, towels, and specifically a bath mat on 3 separate occasions. The housekeeping director called me and apologize, which I appreciated. Our last night there I slipped and fell on the commode & broke two ribs spending the night in the ER. We were going to the Grand Canyon and then to Tucson the following week and it ruined the rest of our vacation; which I attribute to the lack of bath mat. They comped me our self parking charges and 2 valet charges and gave us a free night in the future. That was nice, but not quite adequate. It's a shame because we were having such a good time up until that time.

Absolutely gorgeous and clean and well staffed with room service! No one has room service anymore! Restaurant was amazing and food and drinks were yummy! They accommodated all our needs late at night when we came from a horrible hotel. They were fabulous! Smells soooo good too everywhere you go - like perfume!

so unique a hotel must see for anyone who appreciates architecuture

absolutely a special historic hotel-I felt honored to be able to visit -no kidding

they have a fabulous water slide and really questionable and poor management of the times you can use it and very little sensitivity to what the hotel guests might enjoy-what a shame they don't make the simple fixes they could implement so the experience was totally great instead of a :"bummer in the end"

Very good

Everything was awesome even kept getting lost the place is so big and gorgeous 😍

Amazing place was literally in awee at the Biltmore only thing I didn't like was front desk could of been a little more helpful and explained to me that I could pay cash up front and put the 50$ on my debit card for incidental fee I went to the ATM and tried to figure out some way on my own to get me intoy room and it was 375 for a night it's alil steep in my opinion and they double charged my card with the 50$ fee Wich I won't get back either fee for 2 or 3 days smh but amazing facility awesome staff so far just needed my front desk to step it up and make me feel alil bit more at home and like a customer but no hard feelings I used to work front desk it's tuff and very demanding keep up the hard work guys 🙏💯👌💪
