The location, staff friendliness

The key to my room continuously failed. Had to go down to the lobby more than eight times in one day.

bed was comfortable and just right kind of soft. Location great for walking to stores, restaurants and museum. front desk and cleaning staff was pleasant and friendly

restaurant attached to hotel no room service or take out. you must dine in. microwave and coffee maker in room old. we felt if used would create fire hazard.

Love the location, the vicinity to great restaurants and yes the bed was very comfortable.

Lack of parking and cost of said parking. The satellite dish wasn't working and we had a very limited access to channels in the room.

The parking garage would not accept us because they told me my vehicle was too big. There was no hot water and the piece to hold the coffee grinds was missing so we couldn’t make coffee.

The room was a very nice size and clean. You do get a 10 dollar credit to their “store” for your stay which is nice to be able to get something for the drive home.

When I checked in, I had asked if they would be able to put valet parking on my room even though I wasn’t parking my car as I was only in the hotel for 30 minutes to get ready and go to a concert. I was parked on a side street as the valet parking loading lane was full. The front desk lady told me she was unable to do so because I was not parking my car. Fast forward to 11:30 pm and I went to the front desk and asked if I could have valet parking and was told that valet parking for new vehicles closes at 11 pm, but if I already had valet, he would call for someone to park my car. I was told to drive around the block and use the garage to self park. Luckily, the parking garage is connected to the hotel and self park just means you drive it down and the worker will actually park it for you and gives you the ticket. It would have been nice to know that valet parking closed at 11 pm when checking in especially since I tried to add it to my room during check in.

Very friendly staff, big room (more square footage than it said in the description), great location--central but very quiet, at least in the room I had.

The furniture, except for the beds, was a bit worn. There was a daily $15 "resort fee" that no other hotel charged. It pushed the total for my stay up $75 and meant the price was only moderately inexpensive.

Awesome location. Great lobby. The bed was very comfortable and room quite large but the furniture a bit worn and the AC unit was noisy. For the location and comfort the price was great.

Hotel was a great location and really enjoyed our stay. The room is spacious, king bed was really comfortable and the hotel was well located.

Unfriendly receptionist during check-in, the colleague of her who took over the next shift was much friendlier. The resort fee of 17 USD per room / night was not mentioned during booking process. 10 USD of it can be used in the overpriced ‘gift shop’. One of our two rooms was smelly at beginning, was better after intense aircon use. Doors to bathrooms are hard to open and close.

Being charged for WIFi and water and coffee Kn the room. The “resort” fee.. I didn’t use it and should have a choice. Typically a resort fee is for pools, free parking , etc. Just seemed like an extra expense. I didn’t know about it until after I checked in.

The view wasn't bad and the main lobby was nicely done

How expensive everything was. Overnight parking is $50. Add that to our room and the security deposit and it's about 500 for one night.

Lovely, quite space within a bustling city. Conveniently located. A walking distance from a lot of the city's amenities.All around friendly reception from hotel staff.

Room cleaning could be improved. During our 10 day stay, often times the beds were not made and room wasn't properly cleaned

Parking directions should be better detailed. It's very confusing. Also, they need to deep clean the carpet in the rooms.

Kids running all over the lobby, kids climbing outside tree. No MGMT whatsoever!!!! This is rittenhse area for heavens sake!!

The location of the hotel is very good

Reception staff not very friendly. Reserved for 3 persons and the room had only one bed. They do not clean the room everyday.

The staff were nice

The room I requested was not available when I checked in over an hour after the window to check in opened. The room we were given instead had a pull out sofa with stained mattress and no linens or blankets. The bathroom toilet had poop splatter on the rim and the sink had hair in it. Parking garage was painfully long waits.

Rooms look tired with poor workmanship. Room layout is terrible. Asked front desk to have housekeeping drop off shower gel at 5:40 yesterday morning. Checked out at 9:am without ever receiving it.

The location is amazing. It is also beautifully decorated. The bathroom was nice too.

For that price, that room WAS NOT worth it. We paid over $200 just for the room. Thereafter we paid $50 additional for parking. The room was a matchbox. There's no space for anything but the bed and the TV stand that morphs into a desk. Our view was of the alley and people who were somewhere that had a pool. No microwave. One towel, washcloth and hand towel per person. The remote didn't even work the TV properly! WAYYYY too much money for what we received.

Overall my stay was better than I expected due to the reviews I’ve read. My only complaint was that I didn’t find out about the $10 credit for snacks until check out.

It was a bit noisy at night due to my room overlooking a bar so I would recommend packing earplugs.

Fabulous lobby, superb location! Loved having multiple vegan restaurants right around the corner.

The hotel was centrally located and minutes away from various shops including Maceys. Reading Terminal Foodhall was around 15 minutes away. The hotel has two restaurants attached to it - one Mediterranean and the other a Steakhouse/Grill. There is also a coffee shop that offers healthy breakfast options. Lots of Avocado dishes, burritos, bacon, eggs, heathy toast

Everything was fine - a little pricey but its the city centre. That said the alcohol measures in drinks was much more than at home

Friendly staff and efficient check-in. Air conditioning worked very well, and the room was spacious and clean. No street noise. I loved the location, bus route located within 20 metres.

The only negative was that the plumbing from the adjoining room could be heard during the night.

The lobby and the hallway was beautiful. The bathroom was nice and the interior designs were nice as well.

The room was nice, however, the air conditioner made loud noises and would wake me up in the middle of the night. The carpet had an old smell triggering my allergies and the bedding did not smell fresh either. I understand that they were busy and I agreed to have my receipt emailed to me when I checked out, however, I have not received it as of yet and it is the 4th of July.

No soap in room (had to ask twice), bathroom had only 1 (of 2) functioning lights, only 1 cup provided for in-room coffee, rug and furniture need a refresh.

The property was at the center location of the city and UPenn is like 15-20 mins of walk. I went early around 10 am and thought of leaving the bag but the let us to check in early so we rested little bit before exploring.

The staff were not the friendliest. Had issues with getting our door open and took several trips to front desk to resolve. Then there was no coffee in the room. Said their shipment didn’t come in. Had to ask for things that should have been there and they made it seem like a big deal

Ease to the city and getting to National races at UPenn. Tons of restaurants and stores. Safe. Parking on site, free WiFi and excellent staff.

Excellent center city location. Can purchase snacks in lobby where there is cozy seating. Coffee shop on first floor is good.

Check in is at 4pm. We had to wait about 45 minutes. Staff handled the pressure well.
