Decor was great

Room was musty. No fan in bathroom

The room was amazingly designed. The Bed was comfortable. The bathtub was fantastic 👏🏽! My favorite part of the room. The room service was good as well as the food. My views were gorgeous.

The TV was acting a little wonky and hard to use. The toilet was running a lot too.

Great location. Lovely decor. Liked the free wine each evening.

Some of the fittings in the room were a bit tired (broken edges on the bathroom mirror, broken corners on the desk etc). The roof terrace was more like a night club - we couldn’t get on to it.

Hotel didn't receive payment through Booking.com. Staff didn't do the slightest effort to check what went wrong, instead they charged me again and told me to solve it out with Booking.com. I would have appreciated at least some effort, as I have provided payment evidence.

Absolutely nothing

The room was comfortable but a little dated. The mattresses were firm and comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning our room. The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting the historical sites in Philadelphia. We really enjoyed The Red Fox Tavern (restaurant associated with the hotel). We had breakfast at the hotel every morning along with several dinners. Good menu and very hospitable service. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Philadelphia.

Great location in old town. Comfy beds.

Breakfast "included" was a bit cheeky - if I knew there was a $20 limit pp, I would have reconsidered. Wine hour: cheap wine in a plastic cup, seated on sticky furniture!

Location, staff decor

Would have liked to see more hooks or towel bars, since we opted for no service while there it was hard to dry our towels.

Location was fabulous, close to all historic landmarks walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants. Room was clean and decent size.

The first room we got didn't have hot water, and took a while to move us to a different room that did have water, but shower head was wonky. Since we were in a rush to leave for a dinner reservation we chose to stay and not move to a third room. Smell in hallway was not very fresh, but room smelled fine and was clean.

I liked everything

Loved the corner room location! The wallpaper and general room decor were beautiful. Room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. It was great that you allowed dogs at the hotel. Very helpful for us.

The most glaring issue, noticed by myself and my husband, was that there were 3 doormen standing around talking most every time we entered or exited the building. Not once did any of them open a door for us, even when we were entering with packages or suitcases. It was comical. The other complaint was that the bathroom floor was sticky when we arrived, causing noises when I took a step. I mentioned that to the entrance desk and they got someone there right away, but the problem was not resolved, it was just the same after the cleaning. I was also surprised given the quality of the hotel, how thin the TP was...And also, I am all for conservation, and very much appreciate your efforts in that matter, but the water flow restrictors on the sink faucets were too much. It came out a trickle.

Good access to anywhere

We were upgraded to a suite because we were Welsh. An unexpected and delightful experience. We were also given two tickets each for drinks at the bar. Again - a really special touch. The breakfast was excellent and good value. Exceptional hotel ideally located for the historical sites .

Old bathroom with shower head that gets water everywhere! Parking and valet situation is inconvenient.

Beautiful furnishings, friendly staff

Overbooked and did not provide up with a room with 2 queens (we were a family traveling with kids) and a city view. Only had a king room with a rollaway bed (which was a tight fit). The rooftop lounge was closed and the room was only on the second floor, so no city view. The restaurant was mostly closed off, so we had to wait over an hour for a table. Some families even had their children at the bar so they could eat.

Front desk Kaylee and the other beautiful girl were so nice! So sweet when I was having a hard time. Such an amazing hotel! Thanks girls

Elevator issues

The bed was comfortable and I got a great night's sleep every night I was there.

The decor was stunning, but in the bedroom, it was a bit busy; lots of patterns. That said, it was impeccably decorated.

We had an amazing stay at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia. The location couldn’t be better—right across from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, and within easy walking distance to so many top attractions and great restaurants. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Philadelphia. We’ll definitely be back!

The location , food and drinks at the Red Owl.

We chose the Kimpton because of how central it was in the historic district and it did not disappoint! We also chose this particular chain because of how pet friendly they are. The staff were beyond loving to our dog, which made the trip that much better. Everyone from the front desk, to the porters, to the maintenance staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Truly give these people all the raises!

Only half the elevators were working when we stayed, which meant it took forever to get up and down from the room. One time I think we waited for over 5 minutes for one. For the price we are paying, I would expect everything to at least be working properly.

The location was perfect, the staff were helpful since we are elderly, the bed was great.

Three of our five nights I woke early and went to the lobby to read. The night guard came in and told another woman and myself that the lobby was closed. I said, closed? He then asked if I was staying in the hotel and both she and I answered yes and he left. The following morning he came in and went to sleep on the couch as I was reading. I do not mind that he wanted to sleep, but to ask a guest to leave so he could sleep is not cool.

This hotel has a fantastic location right in the heart of the old city. There was a friendly welcome by front desk staff and we made it just in time for a complimentary glass of wine served between 5-6pm in the lovely reception area. Our Room was tastefully decorated with everything we needed for our short stay.

Perfect location for visiting the historical parts of Philadelphia. So many restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and quiet. The room was small but it was enough for the two of us. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was quite good for hotel coffee. We would definitely stay again.

The location of this property was perfect! We could see independence hall out of the window in our room. The only downside to that is that the bells woke us up a couple of times in the middle of the night. There were two double decker bus stops right outside the hotel and many sites were within walking distance of the hotel. The bathroom was very clean but small. All in all I would stay here again in the future.

The hotel has a very cool eclectic vibe. Check in and out was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had all the amenities we needed, including an iron and ironing board. The bed was very comfortable plus the room was very quiet so we slept great! We didn’t eat at the restaurant but had a night cap at the bar and it was great.
