The breakfast had little protein, fruit was good, Liked the idea of evening socials, staff knew little about what they served. I helped one open a screw top after they tried a corkscrew

Homey, historical, friendly … great location. Too bad they will be renovating and undoubtedly raising prices.

I’d replace toilet seats to soft close as well as faucets which make loud click when pushed to off. Minor stuff. Maybe new towels. That’s about it.

The check in process was quick and easy, and the location was close enough to where we were visiting.

The door lock wasn't functioning correctly, the TV was tiny with no streaming services, the bathroom was outdated with a very tiny shower, the breakfast was mediocre at best.

The room was amazing compared to what I expected for the price. The staff were very kind, and it's a great location.

I love the evening social (it’s happens every night 5pm-7.30pm), they offer for free a glass of wine, water, club soda or beer + some plates of charcuterie, cheesecakes, fruits and nuts. /// cleaning was good too /// amazing location, you can check the most of the sightseeing in walking distance from the hotel.

I was afraid of the elevador, it’s really old. The hotel needs a renovation, but still ok for few nights. The breakfast disappointed me, it’s continental but good be better.

Excellent location for visiting historic sites and sport events. Very nice breakfast buffet and evening wine happy hour.

Key card door locks were very bulky and wouldn't open reliably to allow access to room.. Staff was unable to fix this during our stay, and offered a room change to a higher floor, which I regret not taking, as I hoped the problem would improve. It did not.

The location is really good, the staff was very nice with us. Is a good option if you're looking for an alternative to the big chain hotel.

A little outdated. I know is a old school hotel, but with some minor upgrade could be a really good place to stay.

I liked the location it was close to everything in downtown.

I did not like the parking fee. It resulted in too much for the duration of our stay, 2 days and a night.....

I love the location. Just walking distance to major locations.

Some of the furnishings were worn. Would have liked a hand rail on the steps to the breakfast room.

The best is the staff. I lost a personal item on the way to the hotel, and the girls at the reception were wonderfully supportive in helping me out and try to locate it. They exceed my expectations. Otherwise, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the neighbourhood is nice.

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. But if you want your coffee to be really hot, you'd better show up early at breakfast...

The location is superb for exploring Philly - walking distance to museums and many sites. The staff was so sweet and helpful- went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The social hour with wine, beer and snacks was very much appreciated. Room was very clean, and the soap products smelled great!

Probably typical for a city location, but the room was small. Had to be careful to not to hit your head on bathroom sink when getting up from the toilet! 😛 The TV was blurry - probably could use an upgrade. Also seemed to have volume set at 25? I mentioned to staff upon checking out that the bathroom sink faucet needs a new cartridge as you had to pull it with both hands. They immediately wrote it down to be fixed. Otherwise, room was small but comfortable and very clean!

The web site says free parking, it isn't. You get a small discount at a garage 3 blocks away. Breakfast for me was worse than average being on a low carb diet

Hotel was in a great location, lots of restaurants and bars around area, easy to get on train also. Room size was large and cold refrigerator.

The keys didn’t work so everyone you went to room ended up back downstairs getting the key fixed.

Selena, the woman at the front desk, was welcoming, friendly, and professional; she made the check-in process quick and easy.

Although the room was cleaned properly, complimentary shampoo and soap were not left in the bathroom, so I had to purchase these items

The location is fabulous, could walk everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was something or nothing but fine as it was free. Socials every night with free drinks were an added bonus

I like the its quaintness and thats its in the city but quietly tucked away location.

The bedding needs to be updated.

Excellent location in a charming neighborhood, within walking distance to pretty much everything important. 10/10 Lovely receptionist when we checked in, unfortunately I don't remember her name or I would give her a personal shout-out. 10/10 Complimentary wine and cheese happy hour and breakfast. Not a huge choice, but it does the truck and it's a nice bonus, especially considering the price of the room. 8/10 Room was nice and fairly spacious, we even had space to sit around the table and play a family game. The beds were comfy, could have been slightly bigger but all good overall. Bathroom was small (this was expected), but functional and had everything we needed. Shower had good pressure. 8/10

A very welcoming place with charming staff everywhere. They have social evenings and everyone who stays there can participate for a glass of wine for free. Very well situated in Philadelphia, lovely old building, rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable. Everything is close in the old center of Philadelphia. Would stay there again if we were to go there.

The room did not have a refrigerator. Parking is expensive, but they gave us discount, which was great!

Breakfast. It's pretty much nonexistent. I don't think they should advertise that it offers Breakfast. When we came down. All they had was toast, baggels and cereal. Coffee and juice too. That's it. Parking. On this app it says that it has parking but that's just not true. It has a 10% discount when you park over night at this parking lot 4 blocks away from the hotel. We ended up spending an extra $50 on parking alone.

The afternoon gathering for free with wine, cheeses & yummy desserts. All free. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Good location.

Excellent location in City Center and easy to reach from the highway. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Rooms were large and comfortable, especially the window sitting area. Bathrooms were clean, even if a bit tight. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

The door key didn't work and after swapping key cards the third time staff came to show us that we need to pull the door while it's unlocking. Worked fine once we knew the trick. And staff was friendly showing us how it worked.

The room was impeccable and beautiful. Front desk was kind and accommodating. Great views of philly.
