The Hoxton Hotel, Paris

The location is great, and the interior of the hotel is beautiful. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.

It feels like more of a coworking space than a hotel. There are so many people scattered around on laptops that over the course of the three days we were there, we couldn’t find a seat once to sit down and enjoy food or drinks (both the bar area and the restaurant). We also ordered room service for breakfast and one of the coffees was missing. It took half an hour to get the second coffee brought to us. We still enjoyed our stay overall but it wasn’t quite the experience we had hoped for.

Ambiance of the ground floor was great. Really enjoyed our group dinner.

Rooms were very tight with luggage. Had to move suitcases every time we used the bathroom or main door. Shower did not drain well.

We were there to celebrate my wife´s 40th birthday and a bottle of champagne and a greeting card was waiting for us in the room. Staff is great, very helpful and friendly. Agreed to change our room after we checked in as the got we got initially had a very low ceiling and felt claustrophobic. Also, the night manager helped us with some tips and gave us a free breakfast after hearing some of our complaints. The location is also very good on the 2nd arrondissement, very close to a metro station.

The amenities in the room are very poor. I´d expect more from an hotel of this level. There were no bathrobes or slippers. In the bathroom nothing beyond shampoo and soap (although they can provide some additional things upon request) and just a kettle for hot drinks instead of a coffee machine.

My room was very bad : it was literally 2 minutes walk far from elevator. The worst part is that the room was on the 1rst floor on top of the reception area and pub, and it was impossible to sleep anytime between 7 am & 12 am… soooo noisy

I liked the Cosy room and night-time vibe of the hotel. The New Year's Eve Hoxton in Wonderland party was a great way to welcome 2024. The amount of effort made to ensure guests had a great time was appreciated.

More communication is needed from the staff during holiday periods so the guests know more about events and the need to make restaurant reservations in advance. We almost couldn't have dinner on NYE as the restaurant was fully booked.

I liked the room and night-time vibe of the hotel. The hotel is popular with local creative and this makes the bar lively on Fridays & Saturdays. Locals describe it as a more diverse location than Soho House.

The Hoxton was beautifully located. The Hoxton boasts a “vibe” that I can only liken to the former “Ace Hotel” in London. We stayed for NYE and the event they put on was great; there were 5 bars on the night and everyone was super polite. Leala in particular in the restaurant was amazing! If she sees this please let her know we really appreciated her customer service.

Unfortunately, service wasn’t to the standard of a €500+ per night hotel. We often visited the restaurant in the hotel but would have to wait for an age just to take our order - this could be due to the holiday period and slightly understaffed, but we would have Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and would be privy to a sub-par experience. Finally, I would expect to be given a slightly better reception if I was staying in the hotel in comparison to students wanting a table for coffee - I often felt there was a lack of customer care to hotel guests in comparison to the public that would enjoy the facilities during the day. I remember ordering water and we were brought a jug of water and no glasses.. I know I might sound persnickety, but for the price point I expect a lot better and more attentiveness.

The room size and style

The house keeping was not good and we always had to ask for it although we requested it at check in. Even when the room was made, it was made very poorly. We also had an issue with billing twice but was corrected by the manager after a lot of complaints.

Well located, beautiful rooms decorated stylishly, comfortable bed and great amenities. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful!

Downstairs in the lobby has quite a lot of space for people to drink and eat and relax but unfortunately every table every time we were there was taken up by one or two people on laptops. We were there on a Saturday and Sunday and it was unfortunate that we weren’t able to enjoy relaxing in the lobby while people worked and watched football from there! Would be cool if there was perhaps a dedicated laptop/work zone or some kind of laptop policy to allow for guests on a leisurely holiday to enjoy the space too.

On our last night there was a Halloween party and very loud DJ and music until 1pm. As we were on first floor this did disturb us and whilst I’m mainly up for a party not the night before I need to get up early to leave. We were not made aware of party when we booked

The hotel was wonderful. It was open, inviting, and has a great bar, lounge, & courtyard. The room was retro and cozy.

We were there during the World Rugby Cup. It was loud in the courtyard but that is to be expected, as long as you know ahead of time.

Cool hotel. Biggy room was big- though narrow.

Staff was not knowledgeable and for the price, you should have a concierge. Car service recommended was a rip off.

Main concern is no dedicated space on arrival and departure when waiting for taxi. And the staff is barely helpful with the luggage. The whole luggage logistics should be better supported.

Great vibe

The restaurant serving breakfast and brunch had great staff, the food was excellent and it was good value for money. Very central location so easy to get anywhere in Paris. Bar & restaurant staff were very friendly.

The shower was weak, a trickle of water for the most part and outside my room was a leak from the ceiling so the carpet was soaked with no sign for people to be cautious.

Very convenient location. We stayed on level 4. The balcony was fantastic.

The placement of PowerPoint's made making tea or coffee a challenge but this is really minor. The room was exceptional.

Hoxton Paris is a cool and lively design hotel in a very good location in Paris. The room was medium sized and clean, but with very little facilities. The breakfast was not included in the price of the room, but worth any penny.

The major issue was that there weren't slippers and robes in the room. Even when we asked for it they refused to provide. The window didn’t have a handle, so it was impossible to open it when needed. It was also difficult to organise clothes into the room, as there was not a proper wardrobe or even shelves to store them.

The courtyard area was great. The location was brilliant Staff on reception were friendly and helpful

Overall, the room is very very comfortable. The bed is fantastic, extremely comfortable, and the sheets are high quality and feel luxurious - perfect to rest in at the end of the day! The bathroom is also spacious and comfortable. The maid changes the towels and makes the bed every day. We had cocktails in the bar and enjoyed our waiter, he was great!

The water pressure in the shower was low, and the temperature isn't high enough (I love a hot shower). In addition, the water sprays into the whole bathroom floor... The wifi was very weak in the room.
