Good central location, peaceful, pleasant outdoor restaurant area

Drain smell in bathroom. No kettle, small room

It's in a nice quiet location but still within half an hour walk of the Louvre. Very clean although the decor was very original!

Shower wasn't very good

Lovely room, the air con worked but we didn’t really need to use it, even though the weather was hot. Location was great for us, just a few metro stops from Gare du Nord. We had breakfast one day in the cafe across the square in the other part of the hotel.

As other people have commented, it would be great to have a kettle in the room. We are British and like hot drinks at all times of day! Also, the room we were in didn’t have a door on the shower room, I guess this was intentional to make it feel bigger, but it was just annoying really and we would have preferred a door. Would have given this hotel a 10 for a kettle and a bathroom door!

The restaurant staff did not come across particularly nice so decided to eat elsewhere. At dinner time the restaurant was closed. It was a minor thing for me but not sure for others!

Breakfast was basic. Its' location is convenient for our activities. The storage service was great.

the room was bigger than the typical in the center of Paris , but it was still small for a long stay.

Simple, clean and nice room with huge windows. Cool area close to everything we wanted. Great breakfast and liked the restaurant.

Very cool hotel and nicely decorated rooms, great location, cool bar. They were accommodating to add in an extra bed for our daughter.

Tiny reception area which was very busy when we arrived. It took over 30 mins to check in. We were provided free drinks at the bar whilst we waited and the security/porter was kind and accommodating. The main concern was security in the hotel. The door to access to hotel rooms above the bar had a piece of paper attached to it to disable the swipe card so it meant that anyone from the bar could enter upstairs. Our bedroom door also didn’t lock. It made us feel slightly unnerved, particularly as we had our young daughter with us.

Amazingly central with very friendly and helpful staff

No coffee or tea manning facilities in the room. But this is a very minor issue - we were surrounded by incredible coffee shops so were spoilt for choice once out

Hotel quiet and clean. Nice view from the room. Breakfasts and dinner high quality. Position central.

People at reception were friendly but did not give a lot of information about what to do/see/where to eat in Paris. Depending on the waiter responsible for the breakfast, different mistakes at the breakfast and service sometimes very slow. Generally a very good experience, just some minor details can be improved!

The barman/waiter in your bar was arrogant and rude. It was nice to get a welcome drink but he could not have been less welcoming.

The location is good as we arrive at Gare du Nord. Breakfast pricey (19 euros) but very good

Room was a bit chilly (end Jan) and the bed reading lights were not working. The b’fast at 19 euros is for the full version. If you only want a continental (coffee, juice and croissant) don’t include b’fast and pay at the restaurant (10.50 for the simple version)

Stayed with our 13 year old daughter . Room was compact but clean and in a great location to access the main attractions in Paris . Our breakfast was included and the quality was excellent. I liked the fact that it wasn’t a buffet and it was cooked fresh to order . The staff were casual and relaxed , very pleasant . We have zero French and they were so lovely about this with us and our daughter . We wanted a relaxing trip this hotel suited us . If you prefer instant service might not be the place for you but if you are happy to have a chill out break highly recommend

For 3 the room was a little tight . We were only there for 3 nights so it worked fine with 2 adults and 1 teen . Couldn’t imagine it for 3 adults in the room .

Breakfast is served in the restaurant opposite the hotel, we had a reservation that included breakfast. We did enjoy breakfast, only on the last day, we were leaving early and we asked to make a package to take with us. The manager has confirmed that the breakfast package will be ready in the morning. Unfortunately was nothing prepared, which was a bit disappointing. The location was just perfect, with everything you could reach within walking distance.

The rooms were very small, but we used the room only to sleep, so was ok.

Staff were friendly and allowed me to store my luggage the next day as I explored town. If you had a car it would be a nightmare to find. Catch a taxi or uber

Hard to find

Everyone was helpful, responded to my queries immediately, such as, explaining my way to the Paris Opera,, guiding me to an ATM, ordering a taxi.

Nothing, it’s in a 19 century building, completely renovated. My 6th floor room was in a corner, so I had two large windows one with a balcony. There is a small elevator. It is very well situated in the second arrondissement, bead rue Montorgueuil, an iconic pedestrian street.

Great location in the 2nd arondissement close to a lot of the Paris sights. Room is relatively new and was clean, although very small. Great shower and bed was comfy.

Small room, but nothing out of the ordinary for Paris. Street was loud at night but not the hotel's fault.

Maybe a bit too sexy room for a work trip, but super cool and clean nonetheless. First time for me to wake up looking at my own reflection in the ceiling mirror.

Excellent location; small but very tastefully decorated/ renovated room; while small, bathroom, shower and wardrobe expertly included in the room; comfortable bed and light and airy room. Perfect for 2-3 day stay as I was out walking around Paris. Concierge/ front desk staff very friendly and helpful (ordered me early taxi to airport -5am)

The location is excellent, near le Marais, rue de Montorgeuil, etc., yet in its quiet square. Our room was decent yet small, as expected; different rooms have different styles with that 'boutique' feel. There is a good choice for breakfast à la carte, and the staff is accommodating. A good stay, thank you!

Very small room, no amenities, very expensive for what it is.

The room was wonderfully calm (i was on an upper floor) and you barely hear anything from the street or the hotel itself. The bed was comfortable and the room clean with a quiet and well functioning A/C. The staff was very pleasant and friendly and there are metro stations very close to the hotel.

The check in experience was poor. I was left waiting in the lobby beyond check in time of 3 PM while 2 staff members were having a heated conversation. When i got to the room, staff was still cleaning it. So I had to go down again and when i finally was assigned another room it was already around 3.20 PM. The hotel encourages you to check in online before arriving so that you "only have to pick up your key upon arrival". Yet, i still had to go through a full check in procedure on arrival.

Walking distance to all major attractions

Location is great, Nihal and his colleagues are genuinely friendly and provided suggestions for places to go. The room has a lovely view of the courtyard. Powerful shower

Room was a tad on the small.side but I guess that's the price you pay for staying in such a central location. Shower leaks.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Also, the location was great; central and accessible.

The room decoration, particularly the cars and superhero decors. They look creepy. I was like a decoration for a kid's room. Also, taking one's luggage up to the 3rd floor was a struggle because there is no lift in the building we were staying in. Having a lift will help.

The location is great, close to many metro stops. It’s surprising quiet, especially for being an older building. We didn’t hear any other guests or even street sounds, and we happened to be staying during riot protests. The bed is comfortable and the room tidy. It is small, but that is to be expected and would be something someone would encounter at any stay in Paris.

The elevator was down during our stay. Not a big deal, but it was difficult to lug our luggage up 5-flights of stairs after a long day of travel. But, as an older building, things like this can happen and the staff was considerably apologetic for the inconvenience.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff with good English. Small but cleverly laid out room. 

The air-conditioning did not work to  our satisfaction. It could never get cold enough for comfortable sleeping for us.

The room was small but stylish and cute. Breakfast was good. Not too many choices but tasty food.

We did not like the surroundings (lots of closed shops, dirty streets and rubbish). The cleaning lady only did part of the room and did not do the bed or put out the rubbish. Not sure if this is normal.

Kind and helpful staff. Lovely and quiet location close to main transport but tucked away from the noisy roads. Delicious food at the cozy restaurant. Cute little street nearby (Rue du Nil) with great grocery shops (bakery, fromagerie, coffee)

Our stay was very enjoyable and we would like to come again. Perfect destination for all exploring of the city.

We did request and early check in to change after travelling. However, our room wasn't ready. A slight disappointment but minor.
