Location was good and hostel room was spacious

All good , maybe more advice on restaurants to visit nearby and more knowledge about the area . We asked when we arrive for any place for dinner as it was late and advice was to check google maps .

Cheap and tidy

It was not well advertised that there were restrictions on hot water timings

Bunk beds were sturdy, had a light, had an outlet. 24 hr reception.

There isn't a kitchen. My room's door had an issue which made it difficult and noisy to close.

When I first got to my room it smelled bad because of one of the guests. I went to reception and they quickly changed me from the room and I had a great stay. The staff really made the trip way more confortable, since they were always available and ready to help, changing me from rooms without any issue and therefore making my stay better. The guy in the counter (don't have his name) from Mexico was such a great help! Thank you!

The facilities are good, but there is some wear and tear in the rooms. The stay truly depends on the room you get, like all hostels, but overall good.

I was staying on the 3rd floor with a view of the street that was being repaired. I wish I had a room on a higher floor with better views. The terrace on the roof was closed.

It was very close the metro station, there were luggage rooms to leave your bags after the check-out. The staff was nice, the room was spacious enough to let you prepare your bags.

The bed was old, I could feel the springs when I moved but it was not something unbearable. The storageboxers was kind of old, some had no functioning springs.

I did not know I had to bring a Padlock for the locker in the room, the check-out is quite early, and also, towels are rented for 7e, which I did not know in advance. Things could be sorted by paying more.

Even though the neighbourhood seems a bit sketchy and dangerous the moment you walk in the hostel you feel 100% safe and there's a lot of good vibes and young people. Aside from that everything looks really clean and nice. The reception is really beautiful and modern and all the other spaces too. The staff is really kind, light headed, chill and informal which makes you feel at ease.

My stay was a bit weird since I only went there to sleep. There could be more common spaces to socialize with people. I went in my room before midnight and it was with the lights off already. All bunk beds seemed to be occupied with people already sleeping so I had to change clothes and organize my things really slowly on top of the bed to not make noise and risk waking people up. And then I set an alarm for 8 AM and woke up and everyone was still sleeping so I had to do all that process again plus showering and everything. So basically I went inside one day and left the next one without even seeing the room but of course that's not the hostel's fault. It was just a weird experience in that sense. Why was everyone sleeping more than 8 hours while visiting Paris? Apart from that I think the advertisement is a bit misleading because I saw the photos of the rooftop with the view for Montmarte (Sacré Cœur) which was my deal maker and I thought I was gonna have my breakfast there with the sunrise. I didn't know the breakfast would be downstairs but you should allow people to go upstairs for a more exciting stay! The breakfast, considering the options it provides , could be cheaper (almost 10 euros). And BE AWARE that they charge 7 euros for a towell after you buy the stay and go in their website to do the check in/ registration. It seems absurd to me since it should be included so take one just in case because charging that for a rented towell seems insane to me. I would rather have payed that fee in the whole price and not knowing it was for that (just a suggestion). And that rooftop was closed for winter season or something like that. I don't know if it was being reconstructed but it doesn't make sense to me that in october it is already closed and for so long since it's arguably the biggest asset of the whole hostel. I felt that was really disappointing. But nonetheless the stay was really good and positive and worth the price!!!

Unfortunately we got a room have flooding problem but they try to handle it very fast and help us change the room also.

There was a boy there from.egypt he was sitting on my bed in night for long and staring me and when I got up he cane closer so I pushed him it was a kind of scary for me

The location was okay, but the plaza is under renovation work, so you have to go a long way around to get to the metro. The room was clean-ish, although there was some lint in the corners of the bed frame and the shower also had some mold. The shower pressure was below average, and it was very difficult to regulate the water temperature: it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Also the shower door did not fully close. At night, the security guard insisted that every member of our 8-person group show their room card, even though we were only given 4 cards. The Generator Hostel in Copenhagen was so much better in every way.

The hostel wasn’t particularly social, there was a couple bars but very quiet. It could’ve done with a kitchen of some sorts, with hot water or a microwave?

Very poor cleanliness The bathrooms in particular are broken and poorly cleaned. The bathroom inside the room is almost impossible to use. There are no common areas for guests to relax and interact, only the restaurants and bar

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed and easy to get around. The staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful throughout my visit, which made the experience even better. The room was clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—just what you need for a short stay.

While my overall stay was pleasant, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and scraped against the floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Although the bathroom itself was clean, the inside of the toilet could have been more thoroughly cleaned. The middle bed stand felt unstable, and I also noticed a hole in the blinds, which detracted slightly from the room’s overall appearance. These are small fixes that could really elevate the guest experience.

Generator Paris offers a trendy aesthetic, but the experience doesn’t match the image. The bunk beds have low clearance and no privacy curtains, making rest and personal space difficult. While having a private bath and shower is convenient, it comes with noise issues and limited privacy. The bedding itself was uncomfortable. The location is decent, but the common area is poorly designed—positioned next to a bar, just a room with a couple of tables and chairs, it's next to nothing at all. The rooftop is appealing but has limited opening hours. There’s a small convenience store downstairs, which is helpful but doesn’t compensate for the overall lack of comfort.

Save place. Had a room with a problematic person. The personal was quick and professionally in resolving this issue. Convenient location.

Shared room for 10 people with two showers is good however if one doesn't have a water and the other doesn't have a light then there's a problem. And unfortunately going to reception about it twice and "sending someone immediately" didn't helped and didn't fix it. Permanently closed windows without aircon or any other type of ventilation is also a problem when you share with so many people and their body odour.

The bathroom, specifically the shower could use better cleaning. There was mold that could be cleaned off. Other than that, the room was pristine.

The price of beer in the bar was exorbitant. All the bars in the vicinity charge about €7 for a pint. The hotel charged us €10! Okay it’s a hotel but a nearly 50% premium is really taking the mickey. Room was clean but someone needs to clean the dead insects out of the overhead light .

Late checkout, 3 extra hours for 5€, worth every cent. Very good buffet breakfast, eggs and bacon.Comfortable bed good cotton linen. Great rooftop bar. Nice Cafe with mezzanine.

No toilet facilities on ground/reception /cafe floor. Female toilet on 1st floor locked, went in gents, needs must 😁. Lockers with card unavailable. Need a lot of change to get into one.

The receptionist that helped me check-in and out was really nice and welcoming.

Sadly, there was an issue with the cleaning in the rooms bathroom, so I couldn't use it and had to use the outside ones. Even after if was cleaned by the facilities people, the issue continued. Nothing on the hostel end, more on the other room occupants.

Good location

The bed is not double - it is just 2 mattresses put together. No view from the room (when booking it the view was included as a feature) . Sleeping wasn’t very comfortable. Too small pillow and noisy in the hallway.

The staff were accomadating to our requests, the rooms/bathrooms were clean. The bar and rooftop bar was nice but expensive. The location was fantastic, 3 minute walk from metro and plenty to do in the local area.

No other complains other than the bar prices.

Clean and professional, the beds had chargers and each room had a shower and a bathroom. Under each bed was a storage compartment where you could store your things:)

For a hostel, it performs poorly. No cooking area or even just a kettle, microwave or fridge. No common area - except the terrace and restaurant, both of which you cannot sit in unless you buy something. And the food and drinks available are extremely pricey even by Paris standards😥This makes the space feel very antisocial. I didn’t HATE my stay, I just didn’t meet anyone and left as quickly as possible - it is just not what I expected from a hostel. Not recommend for backpackers, budget or solo travellers:)

Great location, near metro and train stations by walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff in front desk. I take the dorm because I was staying just for a few hours.

Ventilation, ohh summer time in Europe. The mix of smells in the room were pretty strong 🤣 maybe consider some kind of air freshener device in dorms

Sleeping in a dorm room is tough a specially when you have jet lag and someone in the room is snoring

Close to the underground station. Lovely space and rooms were clean and quiet.

Every day, my room card stopped working and had to be reset - sometimes I waited in a queue for 15mins + just to get it reset.

Nice hotel accessible when exploring Paris staff are friendly and helpful I would stay here again and recommend to my friends.

It was a good time .especially Mohammed. I loved the way Mohammed welcomed guests with a smile. He is a nice person.(But the thing I didn't like was that the light in the bed didn't work and I couldn't charge my phone.)

I enjoyed my stay overall. The bathroom was always clean and the room was fine.

The only downside was the lack of variety at breakfast and not having a place to hang out at night. If you want to get something to eat or something like that at night, it's really bad because only the smoking area is open, and not the dining hall. They should leave the dining hall open for people who want to eat or study at night
