Staff were very helpful when I needed to change rooms and in cafe and bar

The door to shower in the dorm was broken but apart from that it was all good

Save place. Had a room with a problematic person. The personal was quick and professionally in resolving this issue. Convenient location.

Shared room for 10 people with two showers is good however if one doesn't have a water and the other doesn't have a light then there's a problem. And unfortunately going to reception about it twice and "sending someone immediately" didn't helped and didn't fix it. Permanently closed windows without aircon or any other type of ventilation is also a problem when you share with so many people and their body odour.

Location was really good, very well connected. Bar/restaurant is also good. Late checkout was amazing!

The bathroom, specifically the shower could use better cleaning. There was mold that could be cleaned off. Other than that, the room was pristine.

Personal was kind and friendly, told us all we needed to know, locality near the metro station, clean sheets

Its better if you wanna go for party than just stay and have calm sleep

The price of beer in the bar was exorbitant. All the bars in the vicinity charge about €7 for a pint. The hotel charged us €10! Okay it’s a hotel but a nearly 50% premium is really taking the mickey. Room was clean but someone needs to clean the dead insects out of the overhead light .

Late checkout, 3 extra hours for 5€, worth every cent. Very good buffet breakfast, eggs and bacon.Comfortable bed good cotton linen. Great rooftop bar. Nice Cafe with mezzanine.

No toilet facilities on ground/reception /cafe floor. Female toilet on 1st floor locked, went in gents, needs must 😁. Lockers with card unavailable. Need a lot of change to get into one.

The receptionist that helped me check-in and out was really nice and welcoming.

Sadly, there was an issue with the cleaning in the rooms bathroom, so I couldn't use it and had to use the outside ones. Even after if was cleaned by the facilities people, the issue continued. Nothing on the hostel end, more on the other room occupants.

Good location

The bed is not double - it is just 2 mattresses put together. No view from the room (when booking it the view was included as a feature) . Sleeping wasn’t very comfortable. Too small pillow and noisy in the hallway.

The property is really clean and the room was big enough. I stayed in 7th floor so the room was quite sunny as well

The staff were accomadating to our requests, the rooms/bathrooms were clean. The bar and rooftop bar was nice but expensive. The location was fantastic, 3 minute walk from metro and plenty to do in the local area.

No other complains other than the bar prices.

Clean and professional, the beds had chargers and each room had a shower and a bathroom. Under each bed was a storage compartment where you could store your things:)

For a hostel, it performs poorly. No cooking area or even just a kettle, microwave or fridge. No common area - except the terrace and restaurant, both of which you cannot sit in unless you buy something. And the food and drinks available are extremely pricey even by Paris standards😥This makes the space feel very antisocial. I didn’t HATE my stay, I just didn’t meet anyone and left as quickly as possible - it is just not what I expected from a hostel. Not recommend for backpackers, budget or solo travellers:)

Great location, near metro and train stations by walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff in front desk. I take the dorm because I was staying just for a few hours.

Ventilation, ohh summer time in Europe. The mix of smells in the room were pretty strong 🤣 maybe consider some kind of air freshener device in dorms

Sleeping in a dorm room is tough a specially when you have jet lag and someone in the room is snoring

Close to the underground station. Lovely space and rooms were clean and quiet.

Every day, my room card stopped working and had to be reset - sometimes I waited in a queue for 15mins + just to get it reset.

Nice hotel accessible when exploring Paris staff are friendly and helpful I would stay here again and recommend to my friends.

It was a good time .especially Mohammed. I loved the way Mohammed welcomed guests with a smile. He is a nice person.(But the thing I didn't like was that the light in the bed didn't work and I couldn't charge my phone.)

I enjoyed my stay overall. The bathroom was always clean and the room was fine.

The only downside was the lack of variety at breakfast and not having a place to hang out at night. If you want to get something to eat or something like that at night, it's really bad because only the smoking area is open, and not the dining hall. They should leave the dining hall open for people who want to eat or study at night

Our deluxe private room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed. We even had a view of the city, which is magnificent – event if there's a building in front blocking the view of the Eiffel Tower!

I added on breakfast as it seemed quite cheap, but actually the selection is so sparse that it's really not worth it. Better to just get some fresh pastries from a local shop. My son didn't even want the milk with his cereal because it tasted strange to him (I think it was UHT or similar).

Mouldy shower

The location was decent and made it fairly easy to get around the city. I booked a 4-bed dorm, which was clean and well maintained, and I appreciated that the shared spaces were also kept in good condition. Overall, my stay was a positive experience — the hostel provided the essentials I needed, and I felt comfortable throughout my time there.

I think hostels, given their size and community-oriented nature, should focus on being more socially inclusive. By organizing guided tours or group activities, they can help solo travelers connect with others, which not only enriches the guest experience but also creates a more positive atmosphere for the hostel overall. Unfortunately, Generator Paris does not offer this, which is a missed opportunity.

Breakfast is great for the price, has a little back patio to seat and tables have chargers. Lockers are sturdy and spacious and can be used as a seat. Bed is ok, with oulets next to you. I was in a 6 women shared room with private bathroom. Shower always had hot water. Rooftop is cool if you want to pay extra to dine or drink there.

No night lamp and bathroom sink was outside the bathroom, therefore it was bad for navigating the room with different people’s sleeping schedules without disturbing/being disturbed. Some guests were not polite about the use of hangs/common space.

some of the staff were really nice, on the other hand, one lady was very rude to me even though they had made a mistake on my reservation and it felt like she was blaming me for it.

The room was in a good condition. Staff was polite and quick.

We asked for towel/bed sheet change 3 times on different days to finally have them replaced with the clean ones.

All the community areas (including bar and restaurant) were very nice and the vibe was amazing. The staff was very nice and could speak English very well.

There were some concerning spots on some of the mattresses and some mold in the showers. Some beds were missing screws and the storage boxes were all falling apart.

Great facilities- laundry, lockers, bar, entertainment. Good location - easy to get anywhere in Paris by metro. Liked canal side location- great bars and restaurants locally.

Clean, reasonably priced. 10 minutes walk from Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord. The beds were comfortable and dorms had shower and a bathroom. The building had lifts to the higher floors and beds had charging points for phones etc.

Relatively close to Metro station, lots of grocery stores nearby, bed set up in dorm room was comfortable, lots of hanging space and privacy.

No kitchen access (I didn't realize this when I booked so want to let folks know), expensive paid luggage storage, expensive laundry facilities, water constantly on the bathroom floor. It felt like being so large made things more expensive and less convenient in this hostel.

The staff were helpful, and even though my friend and I had made reservations for different dates, they arranged for us to stay in the same room. The location is very close to the metro stations.

I stayed in a mixed dorm, and unfortunately, I couldn’t use the toilet because it was very dirty. I used the women’s bathroom on the floor instead, but it wasn’t exactly clean either. There were belongings from previous guests around the sink and in the room. There is no hairdryer in the rooms; you have to go to the ground floor and ask the staff, and they will give you one if they have it available. In my opinion, there wasn’t a very suitable environment for socializing with people. I wanted to see the rooftop, but I couldn’t.

No curtains on the beds. I arrived early and had to pay quite a lot for renting a locker for my luggage.

The showers are dirty. It’s not really a party hostel like they advertise it. Didn’t have any programmes on a weekend in august. Not many young people and the lockers are really expensive. Also no kind of fridge or kitchen. Also the rooftop bar is not really a part of the hostel it’s just a bar on top of the hostel, you have to buy a drink if you want to sit down, just like in any other bar on the street.
