Fabulous 5 star in every way.

Leaving after 5 days!

This hotel is perfection, from greeting as the taxi pulled up outside, to Aziz checking us in, the room was magnificent as was dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning. I will definitely return. I can not recommend this property highly enough.

Great location!! Excellent staff!! Very true and attentive. Probably the best part of our stay.

Our room started off warm, but then they did something with the A/C and promptly brought me a fan upon request.

Location was great. Easy access to the beach and not a bad walk to old town. Behind the hotel was good local shopping for food and groceries.

Negresco is a great hotel overall. Very nice staff, extremely comfortable and clean rooms. Worth the money.

The coffee is surprisingly meh for being such a high end hotel. Definitely not worth the 10 plus euros. If they fixed the coffee the breakfast would be 10/10.

Exceeded expectations. I felt like I stayed in an art museum. Very impressive. Staff was excellent too!

No, there is nothing to complain about, but it would be nice to see a museum/gallery that could represent some historical moments of this wonderful place, especially all of those marvellous people who have kept this place unique over the decades.

Loved the general look and feel of the hotel. The 'art' was amazing, breakfasts on the patio were enjoyable. Access to the sun beds and umbrellas on the beach.

The room we were assigned to at check in was very disappointing. There were no power points in the bathroom - I couldnt dry my hair!!! My husband couldn't plug in his shaver. The power points in the bedroom were so close to the ground we couldn't charge our devices, our plugs couldnt fit the power points. I went down to reception to discuss this and was offered an extension cord - I couldnt believe it .. we were paying $2000 AUD per night - so very disappointing. The receptionist then found as a room with power in the bathroom and USB ports to charge our phones.

Everything. A unique and historic hotel. One of the world's great hotels.

The weather was a bit cool and damp but otherwise all was excellent.

Location was ideal; interior decor of hotel was exquisite ....

Room was not cleaned properly each day ( dirty glasses/ napkins left on counter), Coffee machine was not working; had to call to get A/C working properly. Breakfast Room was VERY noisy and had poor service along with incorrect billing

Unfortunately if you stay at the hotel it’s still not possible to visit the restaurant Le Chantecler as it’s fully booked 😢

We booked a sea view and the room we were offered was actually on the side. We were moved to the last deluxe sea view room so all OK. Lovely bathroom and the two chairs we asked for to sit and people watch from our room. The artwork in the hotel is very special and love the old lift.

The wait in the bar to be even given the drinks menu and then the actual wait for drinks in the bar was very long. All for relaxed approach but this got to be a bit frustrating after a few days. Waited over an hour for bar snacks and then they were awful, not charged but still hungry! Staff were lovely though and doing their best, just need more of them when you consider the price to stay at the hotel. Last year I got delightful little gifts each evening, bookmark, lip salve, etc, this year some hotel toiletries in a rather scabby box and some hair conditioner so a bit of a let down in comparison, though very nice anyway. It didn't quite have the same feel as last years visit, everyone a bit frazzled. The hotel will have to up its game a bit to stay relevant at the cost, they can't rely on the old world charm (some of the shabby chic it just getting shabby now, wobbly tables and chairs in room and a bit tired in bar) Still my favourite hotel in Nice but would be tempted to try one of the newer ones next season.

The hotel's location is convenient if you want to walk in Nice. The room is also excellent. In the evening, it's nice to sit in a beautiful bar and drink signature cocktails.

The hotel was like a contemporary art gallery, complete with art works. Absolutely stunning building and design right on the Promenade des Anglais Great bar and restaurant. We ate in La Rotonde one evening. And the beach club was also great. Room was comfortable and well decorated

Gym could have been better - treadmill wasn’t working and facilities could have been better.

the junior suite was exceptional, but you could hear people in the suite next to ours as well as when the cleaning of that room was going on.

Fabulous location, great rooms, imaginative decor, it’s like staying in an art gallery. Parking our hire car was taken care of.

Impossible to get a decent cup of tea, I know it’s France but…

The reception was very friendly. We were greeted hospitably and even given a room earlier than expected, which was nice. The room was a "superior room" with a view of the courtyard. The courtyard view is of a well with a mesh covering the roof. The view is terrible. If you're staying at this hotel, choose a sea view room with a balcony. Breakfast is quite modest, nothing special for a hotel of this class. I recommend having breakfast at nearby cafes, which are cheaper and offer more variety.

The beach costs 50 euros per person, which doesn't seem appropriate for a hotel of this class. It would have been better if the beach fee was included in the room price. For instance, instead of the room costing 1000 euros per night, it could be 1050. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. This is, of course, unacceptable for such a luxurious hotel.

Wonderful location with the best staff looking after your every need. Visited both restaurants and was vey impressed on all fronts. The bar is a wonderful place for a nightcap at teh end of an evening.

Our room (510) did not have a shower as most people would imagine one. There was a shower head on a hook just above the bath but nothing up high and it was at the opposite end from the shower screen. Very strange! To make it truly a 5 star hotel it would have benefitted from an outside pool as well as the private beach area opposite the hotel. (Pebble beach not sand). The Spa facility was very good.

Staff were very helpful, always with a smile. Shout out to Victoria at the front desk. Remi, the concierge and Daniel at the beach club. The property is stunning and a great location overall.

Everything, the food was delicious and the efficient service of the staff was very much appreciated. We very much liked to be offered a bottle of champagne!!!

Nothing to complain!!!

1. It’s the Negresco — fabulous hotel. Respectable, legendary property. 2. Private spa and massage (which I booked by myself after arrival) were just out of this world. So chic, so relaxing. The therapists were beautiful French ladies, they were so friendly and knowledgeable about their job. 3. Many top-notch facilities are already inside of the hotel. And as the hotel is a landmark itself for the first time we didn’t even wanted to go outside.

1. Instead of double bed there were two single beds put together. Cmon guys, are you serious? 2. They missed everything that I asked them to do in emails. They didn’t ordered me flowers, they didn’t book me a private spa procedures, the private beach personnel didn’t provide me with white wine which i also asked. It’s a pity, you have to double check after them. For a that level of hotel I expected them to be more careful about their guests requests. 3. I used valet parking service. They parked the car somewhere outside. That day there were a few drops of rain followed by African dust, and when they returned the car it was veeeery dirty.

Everything exceeded our expectations-- the staff, concierge, room, shared facilities-- particularly the spa-- AMAZING! They went above and they welcomed our 4 yo son with such hospitality, it was truly a wonderful experience!

Some of the limitations (coffee in the spa) were a bit much, but get the level and clientele that they are servicing. Also-- Uber vs taxis 100% - we ended up taking a taxi to the airport vs the Ubers we had been using our entire 12 day trip and paid double! (But that's not the hotels fault)

The room design was quirky. The toilet seat was an experience that I don’t recommend to anyone 😅. They had a beautiful central hall with glass ceiling that isn’t utilized. Could be something special if they used a bit of creativity

The beach in front of the hotel is not a sandy beach, it is full os stones, so it is better to take proper shoes if you wish to go for a swim.
