Hotel Monteleone, New Orleans

The location, room, comfy bed, and room service, were all spectacular. While it is pricey, the room was well appointed, and the housekeeping was top notch. The turndown service every night was so nice to come back to after a busy day.

When we arrived, they said they could not check us in due to a computer problem, but miraculously, at check-in time exactly, the computers were up and running. It was strange and they weren't very nice about our needs to get into a room and get changed as we were meeting friends for dinner. Obviously, rooms were ready and waiting as it was only an hour before check-in time, and they weren't willing to accommodate us or let us into a room. We had a large suite booked, and it seemed odd to me that they could not figure that out to let us in the room. I had confirmation to show them as well, but they insisted they could not let us into any room at all. Sincerely hoping this won't happen again during our next visit.

The most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the architecture to the amazing staff, everything was perfect.

Everything! Staff and accommodations were excellent. We had breakfast at the restaurant and everything was delicious and staff were amazing.

Everything! Location location location especially! Room was lovely with a French Quarter view - slept really well! Enjoyed room service the wonderful restaurant Crillojo and the famous Carousel Bar!

Bellmen, & Valet knew their city very well. Very helpful.

Gorgeous property, clean and quite yet right in the middle of everything we wanted to do while in town. The Christmas decorations were stunning!

The fact that we were hotel guests and were never able to get a seat at the carousel bar no matter the time. They need to offer hotel guests first seating options and maybe limit a chair to two drinks so everyone can have the experience!! Very disappointed but still enjoyed a drink at a different spot.

Crowds all over property constantly. Couldn’t get into hotel bar as so very crowded. Lobby is so pretty but filled with people constantly and so loud.

I enjoyed the staff, the atmosphere, the clean rooms and facilities. The heated pool was perfect! Also the turn down services was magnificent.

Hotel is beautiful, especially at Christmas with all the trees and other decorations. They honored my requests for being close to elevator and accessible bathroom. Old but lovely decor in the rooms. Bed very comfortable. Location in French Quarter good. Criollo restaurant excellent - we ate there 3 times. Servings large and wait time short.

Only stairs to the lobby. No ramp so a bit tedious when using a walker. I understand, however, how it might detract from the old traditional atmosphere.

Great location & close proximity to restaurants and Bourbon Street.

Mattress is room was not comfortable. Caused my partner & I to have bad back aches. By the end of our stay we both were in a great deal of pain.

Beautiful lobby with nice decorations for Christmas inside and out. I wanted to take my kids somewhere “fancy” since we usually travel cheap. Comfortable beds. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location.

Our view wasn’t great. Not a big deal for us.

If you’re a light sleeper and your room has the ac lighting blinking blue ask for a sleeping mask. But otherwise I find very hard to find something I didnt like about this property

Room was small considering rate for room. Little to no counter space in bathroom, cramped.

The concierge, Anita exceptional! Nolan the bellman so helpful.The Carousel with Corey as bartender was professional and attentive. All good!

Room service, the food was great but there was several times miscommunication with orders.
