My family and I checked in later than I would have hoped, but the weather did not cooperate. Nonetheless, this place was beautifully decorated. Check in was easy, quick and staff was polite and helpful. The beds and linens were great, and we loved the larger rooms and showers. With 2 adults and 2 kids, we weren't cramped into the space. The towels are fantastically large, and the soaps/shampoo smelled fabulous. The room was stocked with beverages (alcohol/non) as well as snacks for purchase. Location had plenty of parking ( as well as valet). We didn't eat here bc we were heading out early, but breakfast was available. Everything was very clean. I'm a huge fan of "dark and moody" spaces; it's a vibe, and I'm here for it. Plus, it smells like cologne and leather.

The whole vibe. The rooms were beautiful. The food and drink are delicious and reasonably priced. There are so many areas in the lobby to just hang out.

What didn't I like? I really can't point out anything that I didn't like. It was all great.

Wish the lighting was brighter in bathroom and missing a gull length mirror in rooms.

The staff was terrific and very friendly.

What was great was having food and drink which meant i didn't have to leave the hotel. I loved the art work and the little stories with it. The room/bed was very comfortable and even though i did not buy any of the extra food or drink in my room i liked having it there.

the guy at the bar could have been more cordial. having a "map" of what was around the hotel in case I wanted to take a walk. i know it's a bit much but someone to take me on a tour of the hotel to lean it's history

Communication with when restaurant was open. It would be nice for the price to include breakfast. No ice bucket bags. The room was not soundproof heard the train and there was a large gap under our door.

Clean facilities and staff were excellent.

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at. We were on motorcycles and they catered to us with front-door parking. The staff was amazing as well. We will stay there again if we ever get to that area!

Wish there were more convenience stores closer or they have some kind of market store where you could purchase drinks and snacks and any other travel items that you might need. Definitely not a show stopper though. This place is amazing.

Ambiance and location was perfect

Arrived with water dripping from bathroom ceiling and the hvac filter beyond clogged. The curtains could be cleaned and made a little bit longer to help create a blackout.

Great design and great staff. Awesome brunch and outdoor restaurant setup. Overall amazing stay in an underrated city. Will be coming back and staying at the iron horse again

Nightstands next to the bed would have been nice. There was a clump of hair in the shower from the previous people which was very gross!

The staff was so amazing, we were greeted with a complimentary drink and a smile.

We were there for an event at the stadium and yes it was on a Monday, but we were there to party and the bar was closed after our event. So many people from the concert stayed here and we all wanted to keep the fun going. Just seems like a missed opportunity.

I liked everything about it. Location, food and ambiance.

This was the nicest/cleanest hotel I have stayed at in years. From the valets, who literally ran everywhere and made sure we were well taken care of, to the housekeeper who we encountered in the hall taking a couple of minutes to make sure we had everything we needed, this place was just amazing and we will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Milwaukee

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I didn’t not have more time for a longer stay!! There is nothing you could do to improve this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel - inside and out. The beds were incredibly comfortable - I’m currently trying to purchase the same pillows. I seriously slept so well. The mini bar and snacks in the room were really nice, too. The decor was beautiful. My daughter and I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this was definitely one of our favorites. I would 100% stay here again! I wish we would have tried the restaurant. Oh - and the rainfall shower and the soap, shampoo and conditioner scents were fab! Didn’t get a lot of pictures from the room - some really cool artwork in the halls!

Location, design, ambiance, staff, "Ash" the in hotel restaurant and the comfort. Enjoyed probably the best prepared Steak there ever. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful Decor...well stocked mini bar

Very friendly staff, especially the bartenders in The Yard.

Around 4 a.m. the smoke detector started chirping due to a low battery. Maintenance handled it, but it made for a restless early morning.

The property was gorgeous and I’m walking distance to the Harley Davidson Museum and downtown Milwaukee. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was fantastic.

The shower was odd and made me uncomfortable. Anyone in the room can literally watch you showering. It was expensive and don’t know if I’d go again for that price. I don’t think it was worth paying that much. It claims to be a motorcycle/ biker hotel, but there was barely anyone there that appears to actually ride motorcycles. It was mainly people in business suits and was very fancy. Including our bike, there were only 3 motorcycles there.

Location was excellent, in a fun neighborhood with lots of good restaurants to walk to. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

The shower had one of those showerheads that made it almost impossible to turn on without getting wet. I just don't get it.

This is the cleanest and coolest hotel I have stayed in. An artsy, industrial vibe with great attention to detail. Welcoming, knowledgeable staff and the most comfortable bed ever!!!! Great bar and restaurant on site as well. Super convenient parking.

The windows only had some pull across drapes (4 of them) that in no way covered all of the windows. No pull down shade or blackout curtains. The moment the sun was up our room was lit up with the light of day. A bit of a bummer, since we were on a bit of vacation and have LOVED to sleep in.

The atmosphere and staff were exceptional. the food at the bar was good. The bartenders were very friendly and engaging.

it’s kind of the new norm with hotels, but the fact that daily room services aren’t provided unless you ask for it is unacceptable in my opinion. The rates are going up and the perks are decreasing. The offered a beverage and snack service in room but it was only restocked twice in 6 days. Let’s get back to daily room service unless the occupants don’t want it. That’s much easier then making occupants ask for it daily.

Just a tad dark in the hallway/bathroom. I little more overhead lighting for females getting ready would be spectacular. This was such a minor issue.
