Impressive boutique hotel in top location

Exceeded my expectations

The staff is really helpful and cheerful from the moment you check in. Location is great, walking distance from almost everywhere you wanna go. Breakfast was really nice and tasty. The hotel has a really cute courtyard which is a really nice cafe as well. Andrea was very helpful with everything. Overall definitely will cone back.

Wonderful Breakfast for all kind of taste classical or modern and an impressive milk bar.

I’d like to commend Mr Daniel from Senato Hotel Milano for his exceptional service and resourcefulness in arranging for a taxi to retrieve a handbag that was left at a restaurant in Milan, even though this happened near the restaurant’s closing time. This genuine and personal service that I’m sure he extends to all guests at the hotel is why my family and I stay only at the Senato Hotel Milano whenever we are in the city. We are very grateful for his service and hospitality, thank you, Mr Daniel!

Nice breakfast and we could walk to all the shopping streets. The front desk was very helpful and nice. We will definitely come back

The hotel is perfectly located to stroll around the city, in vicinity of high street shops and well known restaurants / bars. Rooms have a decent size with generous bathroom. Amazing staff and small yet tasty breakfast buffet. Safe parking in the back of the hotel available.

I liked the location. It was slightly off the beaten path but within walking distance of the places I wanted to visit. I also the hotel restaurant. The fettuccine Bolognese was quite good.

The armchair in the room was a design piece and not something one could actually sit in comfortably. The lighting in the bathroom could have been better.

Relaxed, lovely style decor, great breakfast, location, bed so comfy, wish we could have stayed longer, will recommend and definitely would return :)

People were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We loved sitting outside on the patio with a nightcap.

It's very dark in all the common areas!! Also, we didn't know how to work the lights in the room at first, but figured it out. A quick mention about the card needing to go in the wall slot would be helpful.

Extremely clean rooms and a chic/modern vibe throughout both the rooms and lobby area. The location was excellent and walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. The staff was extremely helpful and even assisted with an issue we had after we had checked out. Appreciated them getting us into our room early as we landed early in the morning. Was perfect for our one night stay.

I thought the breakfast was included but was surprised to be charged after (and a rather high cost too). The rooftop could have been a bit nicer as well but the design and chic look of the rest of the hotel made up for it.

Great central location. Comfortable and stylish room with good AC and nice small terrace. Liked the coffee machine in the room and the small garden for breakfast or drinks.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the Duomo. It is located in a clean and safe environment. The staff were courteous, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good and loved that we had it daily at their tiny garden. The bathroom in our room was huge.

Even though we had the top floor large room and comfortable for a family of two adults and a toddler the aircon wasn’t working properly and it was hot due to the sun facing us in the afternoon

The rooms were beautiful and clean and the location was a short walk to the Duomo, via some of the most beautiful streets.

The bed is on a very low base and not the most comfortable in my opinion.

I always like to come back. Location is excellent, staff are friendly, rooms are nice and clean, and breakfast is nice.

The room was very chic, as was the entire hotel. The location is in a nice part of Milan with lots of shopping and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. Enjoyed saying at Hotel Senato Milan.

There were spaces throughout the property to sit and relax after a busy day sightseeing. The friendly and helpful service made the stay more comfortable .

Fascinating to return to a property after several years... I first stayed at the Senato when it opened in 2016 if memory serves and was spellbound at the quality and style of the renovation of a 5 storey town house of the owners. 7 years on and the value of the investment in the finest materials and a striking yet timeless palette of black, gold and sage green is evident: the hotel is as fresh today as when I first visited, and the commitment to locally sourced Lombardy products for the marvellous breakfast and the perfectly judged cafe menu is as strong as ever - complemented now by a Franciacorta bar to celebrate the spectacular sparkling wines from around Lago Iseo. From Marcello's initial greeting on Reception, to Giovanni's unfailing courtesy at the bar, all the staff clearly share a genuine spirit of welcome and service. Glorious place in every way!

The shower was horrible. It just spit water out in every different direction.

The room & bathroom were very comfortable. The bar & breakfast were of a very high standard with very friendly staff. it’s great having a green space to sit in the middle of a busy city.

The breakfast was exceptional. I love continental breakfasts and this was one of the best. The staff were very friendly and made understanding and getting around the city easy. They seemed to know everything. Nothing was too hard. The language differences were not an issue ever. We left Milan for my business meetings in Modena and had 2 days spare. We re booked and came back to the hotel before going home.

if you plan on relaxing in your room, housekeeping is absurdly loud with slamming doors—but they were nice about it when I brought it to their attention. Room itself was rather small.
