Room Mate Giulia Hotel, Milan

We had a wonderful stay at Room Mate Giulia in Milan. The location is perfect — just steps away from the Duomo and all the main attractions. The design of the hotel is modern and stylish, yet warm and welcoming. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and soundproof, which made our nights restful despite being right in the heart of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They made us feel at home and went out of their way to ensure we had a smooth stay. Even when we had a small issue during our visit, the management handled it with professionalism and kindness, which really showed their commitment to guest satisfaction. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Milan — both for leisure and business. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Room Mate and everything was perfect. the room was spotless, the staff were friendly and attentive, the location couldn’t be better, and the spa was a real highlight. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily come back again.

I noticed that in Italy, most things are quite affordable. However, the only thing I didn’t like around the hotel was the restaurants. The food quality was very poor and the prices were high.

My stay at the hotel was comfortable and pleasant, but what truly made the experience exceptional were the staff and their outstanding service. In particular, Andrea from the concierge went above and beyond — his professionalism and support exceeded even that of a five-star concierge. He assisted me with everything possible, offered great advice, always greeted me with a warm smile, and even managed to secure difficult reservations. Overall, the staff added incredible value to the hotel, and they are the main reason I would return. Along with the excellent cleanliness and the perfect location, the team made my stay truly memorable.

Everything was perfect

The hotel is conveniently close to La Scala and the Duomo. The staff were very kind, and the overall quality was excellent.

Air-conditioner was very noisy

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Andre the concierge was so nice and arranged for us day trips, restaurants, the Duomo trip and everything we needed. The hotel is designed very modern, the room was very spacious, with excellent shower and absolute darkness and quiet so we slept until late with no interuption. The breakfast has plenty of choices and the location is perfect near the Duomo and many shops. We'll definitely come back.

The location is perfect, right next to the Duomo. The staff is great, very wecoming and helpful. There are renoovations now in Milan, and the access to the hotel by car is blocked, they let us know in advance where to park our car (Around 50 meteres away), and they sent the bellboy to pick us up and valle park our car, so it wasnt so bad. We got our room immedietly, and the kids room was upgraded to a bigger one so they each can have their own queen side bed. The room is stylish.

Proximity was great, right near the Spanish steps & doorstep to Rome’s amazing lane ways for shopping & restaurants.

The construction around

I had a fantastic experience staying at Room Mate Giulia. The staff were incredibly professional and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is unbeatable in the heart of the Duomo area, with everything from shops to restaurants just steps away. It’s the perfect spot for exploring Milan on foot. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. However, one thing to keep in mind: you can’t drive directly to the front of the hotel. I had to stop nearby and rely on the bellboy to help with my luggage, which they did efficiently. Also, there’s no free parking available, and dealing with a rental car in this area turned out to be more of a hassle than it was worth. I ended up returning the car to the rental office since I didn’t really need it. One downside during my stay in August was the temporary street maintenance work happening nearby. It created some noise and made the area slightly less pleasant to walk through. While it’s not the hotel’s fault, it did affect the overall atmosphere a bit. Despite that, the hotel itself was excellent, and I’d absolutely stay here again just without a car and hopefully after the street work is complete!

Staff and overall: Our stay at Room Mate Hotel Milan was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were super friendly, always smiling, and extremely helpful. A special shout-out to the reception team—Pietro, Matteo, Marco, and Andre—who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. Location: couldn’t be better! Just a 1-minute walk from the metro, the iconic Duomo, and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, we were surrounded by an endless variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and fashion stores. Everything you could want in Milan is right at your doorstep. breakfast: was a true delight—delicious and plentiful with something for everyone, from fresh pastries to savory options, fruits, and hot dishes. Room - It was a dream: Fantastic air-conditioning, spacious, bright, and incredibly quiet, with beautiful decor, a bathtub and shower, two flat-screen TVs, and sockets everywhere for all our devices. We loved having so much space and comfort—it felt like a home away from home. Cleanliness: was exceptional. Both the hotel and our room were spotless, and every detail was meticulously maintained.

We stayed for 5 nights in the middle of summer, and this place gave us a very comfortable stay. Spacious room, great air-conditioning, excellent cleaning service, and more. The location is unbeatable—zero minutes to the Duomo, so it felt like we were living right there!

Breakfast could use a bit more variety, or perhaps offer some dishes to order from the kitchen. Over 5 days, we had pretty much the same options every morning.

However its a short stay for a night. But i didnt know how to call the reception or house keeping or they were busy not answering.

Great location, literally attached right next to Duomo Milano & Vittorio Emanuelle Mall. Great breakfast that lasts until noon and overall excellent customer service from all employees. Very cool vibe with industrial-chic modern atmosphere. You will like it.

The location is incredibly convenient, with everything we need close by and easy access to Duomo, etc The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. A special thank you to the assistant, Jeffrey - his professionalism, warm attitude, and genuine care truly make our stay extra special. It’s people like him who create such a positive atmosphere and keep us coming back. Highly recommended!

The location is in the center

I did not like the roads taking you to the hotel!! It took me almost one hour to find the hotel as the roads are closed for reconstruction!!

Well, what can I say? The staff are extremely efficient and exceptionally helpful. Anything you need, they are more than happy to help with at a moments notice. I enjoyed their enthusiasm for the clientele. It was a refreshing experience..(I hoped they found the duck I left for them). I would absolutely recommend staying here. I didn't get the opportunity to learn everyone's name however a massive thankyou to Lilibeth, Jeffery, and I am so sorry but the gentleman's name that sounds like shake (I am so sorry, I know that spelling is incorrect) the team at the front counter.. You are all wonderful and be so proud of the service you provide. If ever I get the chance to visit again. I WILL. .

There was a big road works in front of the hotel. So entrance is hindered. Not very suitable for a family with elderly who has difficulty walking.
