Great breakfast! Fresh pastries, fruit, juice, yougurt. Protein, though, was only represented by hard-boiled eggs.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed for remodeling. Also, one day our room was not cleaned and when we called the reception to ask for fresh towels, we were promised it to be delivered to our room, but never got it. One hiccup in the service. If not for that, it would be perfect and 10 out of 10.

The location on the property was excellent and accessible to Ocean Drive on South Beach

This hotel is not just one hotel, but more like a mini village of different buildings. I stayed in one of the rooms in "The Drexel". The hotel was very quaint and I enjoyed the decor and little nooks to hang out and relax in. The location is great - there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, most things are within walking distance and the trolly loop pickups are close enough to walk to. I loved the fact that the room came with beach chair and towel rentals as I utilized those a couple of times. The pool was under construction at the time, so they sent us down the street to "The Kenmore" to use their pool which was nice and had chairs and cabanas to use. Every single staff member that we came into contact with was wonderful and more than willing to help with whatever we needed. I have to say the best part of the stay was the bed. I ripped all the bedding off of it to find a tag so I could look it up. If you're wondering, the mattress is from "Mattress Concierge" and our bed was from their plush line. I've been home for 2 days and I already ordered a mattress from them. Overall, I would stay here again.

Believe the reviews that speak to how small the rooms are. This is probably the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, aside from hostels. Not a deal breaker for this trip as we were only there for about 5 days, but if we had any more luggage or were there for a longer stay, we would've had to go elsewhere. My husband is a bodybuilder, so he's a little thicker and wider than your average man and he really wasn't comfortable in the bathroom because of the size. The walls are thin and the doors need to be pulled closed as they won't close on their own - this made it a bit noisy with everyone yanking their door closed throughout the night. The breakfast was light and limited in choices - think yogurt, fruit, toast, pastries, etc. If you're looking for a heavier, more filling breakfast like eggs and meat, you'll have to pay up for it or go somewhere else. And when I say pay up, I literally mean pay up, like as in $8 for 2 eggs pay up. Miami is expensive in general, but if you do your research you can find a few places with a decent and cheap filling breakfast. There are no ice machines anywhere, but they will bring you a bucket of ice if you call the front desk and request it.

Not enough lights in the room too dark If it rains hard everything gets flooded had to walk to back buildings and definitely you will get soaked.

The fact that the pool and rooftop bar were closed for renovations and we were not informed prior to our trip. There was a pool we could use but very far and not convenient.

Rooms are way too small.

The rooftop bar, pool and lounge area was under construction and not available to guests. We booked this hotel primarily because of the rooftop area. It needs to NOT be advertised as available if it isn’t in actuality!

The location of the hotel is truly perfect. Being right on Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, and South Beach makes the stay such a pleasure. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The internet speed is excellent. Having in-house restaurants also makes everything much easier. It’s a very safe hotel and neighbourhood, ideal even for solo stays. I can definitely say this is a hotel I would choose again on my next visit.

Breakfast was rather weak. Although you can order many extras at an additional cost, I was surprised to see some very basic items missing. That being said, the quality of what was available was good. I should also note that the pillows on the beds were extremely thick, which was uncomfortable. In a climate where the air conditioning needs to run constantly, I would have expected thicker blankets in the rooms. From a sustainability perspective, it would also have been nice if room cleaning were optional — for example, with a badge or sign to leave at the door. Since this option wasn’t provided, housekeeping was done every day. And yes, the lighting in the rooms was incredibly poor.

This was a great hotel with easy access to ocean drive and south beach. Lots of good restaurants on espanyol way.

Rooms were a little small and very dark even with the lights on.

The staff was amazing and super helpful. I loved the bars that they had on property - very picturesque and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and nice. I loved that they had bikes available to use, which made exploring the city even more enjoyable.

I wasn't a fan of cleanliness of the carpet in the room. It was rather dirty and looked like it needed to be shampooed. Being guests at the hotel, you get lunge chairs at the beach, but once we got to the beach, we were told by the attendants that the chairs don't come with an umbrella, which was not mentioned by the front desk staff. We ended up purchasing an umbrella, but I do think staff should first inform people of the possible added expense, if their contract with the beach company doesn't indeed come with an umbrella.

Style, look & feel of the hotel were good. Location was good.

We thought the pool was quite small (and way too hot), the space in the room was limited (we had 2 double beds with 3 people but that pretty much cramped up the room and the breakfast was somewhat limited.

The location was great and the customer service of all the people that worked there was great! They did put us in a building away from all the amenities in the main area which I didn’t mind because I was told it was for the purpose of it being less noisy. However there was a restaurant and bar on the floor beneath so it was still noisy and might as well kept us in the main building by all the amenities and a neighbor that was riding a horse slamming the backboard of the bed into our wall next door which is uncontrollable by the hotel but could consider putting something behind the beds for that purpose so when I explain to the kids that someone is riding a horse next door makes sense. But the hairdryer was amazing!

The room was way smaller than described and presented online and the bathroom was even smaller and not as presented online, it looked clean and nice tiles with space to move around the bathroom but that wasn’t the case at all. The bathroom was so small and looked nothing like the pics plus had mold that could have been at least cleaned between guests. The robes were dirty and had hair strands on them and it made me feel uncomfortable with using anything else in the room at that point. The beds are not that comfortable my back was hurting by night 3. The windows were so dirty and chipping away wall pieces, the cleaners would just close the shade when they came to clean the room.

Amazing location near restaurants and shops, beach chairs, towels, ice coolers and bicycles included for free. Staff was always available and ready to solve any issues.

Our room had a constant food/cooking smell from the vents. Breakfast was a total scam. They offered watery coffee, bread and berrys. Literally.

The location was great, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby! The staff were all super lovely and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the design of the hotel, it had a very unique vibe to it. Overall, a wonderful hotel - definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing location, right in the centre of the art deco district, with great facilities including cocktail bars, restaurant and small rooftop pool. Awesome ambience and feel about the place.

Hidden fees for amenities. Rooftop & parking specifically. Both should be included in the resort fee already paid at booking. They are not. At approx 50 each. A PRIOR notice would be appreciated for guest.!

Great staff. Rooms are not that big but enough. Beach on few minutes walk. They have their own beach part. But pay attention. They close at 4 pm. They have bar, pool, pool bar, live music on some days, normal bar, free bikes to use for 2 hrs per day, Sometimes a free drink at the reception.

You only can switch on the bathroom light when the room light is on. Not handy. In general there is not that much of light in the room.

The hotel has a very nice interior design. There are many restaurants to choose between. The room was functional but rather small. Several events were organised in the evening. Central location in Miami Beach with a short walk to the beach.

The pool area is very nicely decorated but the pool is very small.

Great location, close to lots of bars and restaurants and espanola is a great destination. Free sun beds at the beach. 2 cocktail bars.

Rooms are small but I'm sure that's what all city hotel rooms are like. But we didn't spend much time in the room and it had everything we needed.

Great location, very European look & feel

The breakfast was very good. Sara and Miriam were excellent waitresses who made us feel very welcome. The was hotel beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the roof top area despite the pool being rather small. Our room was small but stylish and we had everything we needed.

Difficulty knowing where everything was in the hotel. Apparently there was a gym but we weren’t told about it and unfortunately only knew it was there by overhearing another guest asking on the last day. Never found out what the Joyce was.

Location was great. Staff was always very cheerful and helpful. The resort fee included bicycles, access to the rooftop pool, and beach chairs.

The rooms were tiny. Carpets were stained. Pool was on the small side.

Lovely vibe, decor and staff

I had to change rooms due to the noise, the room I moved to was lovely but a little squeezed. I was disappointed to have a bill for breakfast coffee that wasn’t clearly explained wasn’t covered in my stay.

Really great location, 5 mins walk to the beach and next to some fantastic restaurants. Staff were really great too, Jimmy who helped us to our room with all of our luggage was super helpful. The welcome drink is a nice touch too. And the front desk staff were always very welcoming and friendly. The rooftop was pretty cool too and a great spot to have an evening drink.

PLEASE change the sliding bathroom doors! I thought other reviewers were just being picky, but having experienced the doors ourselves now, I can understand why. There is a huge gap either side of the sliding doors, when you 'close' the bathroom door. And I mean a good 8 to 10 inches, meaning that you have little to no privacy whilst using the bathroom. The sliding door works for the space saving within the room, but just find a door that is actually big enough to ensure the doorway is covered.

The location of the hotel is very good. A lot of restaurants around the hotel. It's very cozy and chic.

The windows do not open, causing stuffiness in the room. The AC was noisy in our room, but luckily we had a ceiling fan that we could use.

Only issue. We had come from an extended trip at Keys and had two suitcases and two backpacks. There is absolutely no space to put luggage other than on the bed. That was annoying. Otherwise everything was great. Loved the restaurants nearby.

The rooms are getting very cold from the central ventilation system. There is too much noise coming from the lobbies every time somebody walks or talks. The room was not cleaned once during the visit. The housekeeper knocked once and entered the room without us granting permission one evening around 19:00 to ask if we wanted cleaning which was unacceptable. Also one other staff member did the same the morning of the check-out around 11:00 when we had requested and granted a late checkout.

Pool and bar on roof were great; location was also great; and free beach chairs and bikes were a great bonus

Room was really small for a family. Wish we had known that before our stay.

Larry and Fernando at Reception were so friendly and very helpful; they were the reason for high marks. Very clean room. We only stayed one night and didn't have the time to avail ourselves of the amenities such as pool, party, bikes, etc.

This is really nice hotel in very nice spot. Located directly at Española Way. The pool while really small was clean and pool area very clean and cozy. staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

If you are traveling with children or like to sleep this spot is not for you. Española Way is really loud and crowded. You will hear that most of the night. also rooms are tiny. Gym while nice it’s not maintained, treadmill might break your knees.

Can't fault anything, staff on another level. Amazing pool bar and location.
