My stay was more than I could have asked for! Every request was met with pleasure! I'd stayed at Hotel Napoleon once before in celebration of my Anniversary in 2022. It's been 2 years & I was worried that the hotel & service may have declined. However, what I found was a more streamlined experience - Before, During & After the stay! The entire experience exceeded every expectation & pre notion that I had before my stay! Hotel Napoleon is my go-to hotel when in need of a Memphis hotel! Thanks Hotel Napoleon! PS. John, YOU ROCK!

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

The staff is nice. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant in the lobby, they were all hospitable. Liked the look and feel of the hotel also.

Traveling with kids, we booked one of their nicer suites. What sucked was being told at the check-in that all of their suites are in the basement. Yes. Basement. We got into the elevator in the lobby and went down to get to our suite, past their laundry/cleaning facility and all that crap smdh. Basically we stayed underground at an old hotel and paid the premium for it. And that really sucked.

Great location for the Memphis St. Jude Marathon.

Excellent service. Your staff were outstanding. Especially Timothy who went the extra mile when we arrived as a last minute booking late at night. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay very memorable, including the kind lady who arranged a lovely bottle of fizz for my birthday. I would highly recommend your hotel. Thank you.

The rooms were ok. There was a good amount of room to walk around and relax. The manager was out of town but she contacted me and helped with a resolution.

It was not clean. There was mold, stains on the walls, hair all over the bathroom wall, one of the towels were laid strange and had a dirty mark on it and there was a bottle cap in the bed frame. There were more issues that I took pictures of.

Efficient. Clean. Very quiet. Nice big room and spacious modern bath. Good spot to walk to Beale Street. Good parking next door.

There are lots of empty buildings around, which has nothing to do with this property, but I hope there’s more reinvestment like this!

Musty smell. Could see original curved window frame water damaged but another sealed inner window was on inner side of this exterior window. Needed repair though

The hotel absolutely met the star rating offered of 4*. It was a well put together hotel in the sense the accommodation was fresh, good condition, modern. Be warned, not all rooms have bathrooms with a door!

There was no hot water for the bulk of our stay. The hotel staff did not inform us of the issue, nor did they keep us informed of the issues. We arrived at 2am after almost 24 hours of travelling and we were not kept informed of any problems. The first we knew was when we had a shower and it was cold. The staff seemed either apathetic or disinterested and this frustrated us and a number of other guests. Whilst we accept it was not the staffs' fault, we still felt the staff could have been more informative. Our room card also needed remagnetising every day which became tiresome. Some guests look to have received a welcome bag on arrival- we did not.

Not very clean. Room wasn’t ready for 1.5 hours after check in time. We asked twice for an estimated time it would be ready but reception staff weren’t able to provide. After 1 hour of waiting we were offered a “worse room with no view” if we wanted it.. no upgrade or compensation offered for the inconvenience.

Safety concerns. Bathtub slick. Needs grab bars and non skid floor. All sharp corners of bed and desk need to be protected. Carpet needs replacement with solid color.

The location and the aesthetic of the hotel were nice.

The thermostat was broken in my room. I set it to 68 and it was 76-77 degrees F the entire night. I didn’t sleep at all because I was drenched in sweat. I texted the number of the front desk rhat reached out to me to ask how my stay was going and got no response. When I told the front desk all they said was “sorry you cooked up there!” in a joking manner. It was miserable I will not stay again.

We loved that the hotel was close to downtown, Beale St.,Civil Rights Musuem and the River. The Hotel deserves a 5 in all areas.

Hard to figure out parking. Shower not very clean. Very musty in the room. Pretty expensive for what you get.

The pre-check in process and check in process is way t0o complex and confusing, needs to have a check in person on site. Price is too expensive for quality to site.

The room and the location were very nice, parking was very simple.

The restaurant, / bar associated with the hotel was absolutely horrendous and disgusting for a 4.5 star hotel. In fact we could not eat there. The bar was serving drinks at 8:30 am to two customers who were still drunk from the night before. There was a homeless woman asleep in the hotel lobby, who then walked into the bar /restaurant area and laid her head down on the table next to us. The woman bartender could not even make a cup of coffee. Instead of using individual creams to put in the coffee, she used a huge jug to over fill cup with cream, , ruining it. But the worst was the food, it was not editable. We ordered an egg wrap in a taco / tortilla shell and the shell was raw, not cooked and tasted like raw flower. and egg was not good. We had to leave and find other food elsewhere. We just wanted to leave, so we paid rather than making a scene and ate at Starbucks

The staff for one was very confused on scheduling and seem very uncertain about the booking.com process. They could have told me on Thursday night that the price I had was before taxes. The hotel didn’t have parking we had to use the parking garage and that lady wasn’t helpful or friendly. The rooms are very very small, the vending machines were empty the whole weekend on the third floor and they didn’t have a well stocked snack area. No bathroom privacy. The bathroom door was a sliding farm door that had opens on both sides when it was closed. Definitely not working on!!! Mother wasn’t happy and she doesn’t complain about much!! Lol…..Feedback for you if plan to use them for future customers. Bad experience for us.

Rooms too small for the money, hotel food facility wasn’t convenient, only one elevator, wasn’t worth the money, no hotel parking…I could go on. Very unhappy

The hotel needs up dating and repair, also it was not super clean.

Directly downtown, just minutes to Baele St, Main St or Mississippi Banks. Good bed, spacy room and shower, baggage drawer. Fridge avalable.

One elevator, very slow, in peak times need a lot of patience. Bar closes at 7pm. Climate in room good power, but apparently with some time schedules, so must be repeatedly adjusted...

We had a beautiful, large corner room, looking out onto Second and Madison. Comfortable king bed, nice linens. Beautiful shower too.

I think quite a bit of effort has gone into soundproofing for the outside noises but Memphis has a very noisy downtown with muscle cars and motorcycles revving motors and racing around. This is not a Hotel Napoleon problem, it’s a downtown problem.
