Nice hotel in a good location. Pool area and gym is nice too. Would recommend.

The big comfy beds, the pool, the spacious room, the fact that it’s adults only in the pool after 8pm.

The blockout blind was broken and the bathroom sink was not draining properly.

Location was really easy. Spa and sauna were lovely.

The bedroom was so warm all the time. I’m someone who always complains I’m cold and I was roasting in there as was my husband. Also found the gym way too hot, I’m there to work up a sweat and I didn’t even have to do anything to start sweating.

Easy access to southbank restaurants, crown complex and easy parking. Great pool and gym. Helpful staff. Clean, tidy rooms . Comfortable beds.

The bathroom was not completely contained in its own room. Therefore, the use of lights and bathroom noise was noticed in the main room , especially at night. The toilet and shower door were glass doors (only slightly opaque). Therefore, there was not enough privacy when using the toilet or shower from other people in bathroom. Other people could not enter to use basin at all while shower or toilet were being used. There were four adults sharing our one room. And felt this lack of privacy was very inconvenient.

12 yr old couldn’t use the gym with his dad which is part of his normal routine.

Room was big. clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was wonderfully quiet also. The location was perfect because we were there for a convention, and the 24h rate for parking was so much cheaper than anywhere else.

I couldn't find the room service menu even after having been directed to where it should have been, and the minibar menu had no pricing on most of what was in there. I had been really looking forward to room service in the morning so I was very sad.

breakfast was not included in the price. We paid extra for breakfast but to be honest the breakfast was only average compared to the breakfast buffet of other large hotel chains.

We were given keys to our room and found cleaning supplies in the room! Cleaning had not been completed. We also had to request milk as there was none in the minibar. There are no phone charging outlets.

Rooms great, comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Clean and quiet ensuring and excellent rest.

Perhaps a QR code in room to access hotel information and services e.g room service Advice was to go to Crown website but could never find information we were looking for and it’s a pain to have call reception all the time .

You dont need to leave Crown. Nice and warm. Pool area was nice between 12-2, when it wasnt crowded with families and kids.

Spa was not very hot, and was full of young children using it like a swimming pool, jumping and kicking.

Although we didn’t need clean towels everyday we did need more supplies like waters etc. this wasn’t checked everyday. We also got one bar of soap and the dispenser was empty. Again, not checked prior to our arrival. .

Room was lovely and very clean. Staff all very helpful. Loved the 11am chackout.

Only hiccup was I called guest services to book for breakfast the next morning. When we got to breakfast - no booking. However the bill was adjusted at checkout so all good in the end.

Staff care to go extra mile For customer / I asked for takeaway coffee To be made for me pick up before I left . They said they couldn’t do that . Could only deliver to my room for 7$ . What a joke . 5* star out the window . Crown management changed so much these days lack of care for customer service on small details .

Excellent location

The rooms are very dated and in need of refresh or renovation. Pool was very busy! I’d avoid this location during school holidays in the future.

The beds were very comfortable and the pool was fantastic. It was incredible to see the city skyline at night.

We love everything about the crown which is why it is the only hotel we stay in when visiting Melbourne.

My daughters and I went to use the pool on the first night we stayed. We settled in, went out for dinner in one of the restaurants on the property and then went to the pool. This is something we always do and have never had a problem. Upon arriving at the pool we were rudely confronted by a staff member asking if my girls were over 18 !! To use the pool I might add. Since when has using the facilities been an over 18 requirement. The staff member then continued to walk up and down the pool area like he was an on duty police officer, which made us feel very uncomfortable. I understand the need to have younger children not using the pool after 8pm but my daughter’s are 16 and almost 18. I had to tell him they were over 18 just to enjoy the pool that evening. This has made me and my husband re think where we will stay in Melbourne next time we visit.

The room as absolutely beautiful. It was impeccably clean, smelt amazing, had all the necessities and more. Bathroom was gorgeous and spacious. The valet staff where friendly and helpful as was the room service staff. Be aware, there is also a room service charge on top of the service of drinks/food.

The staff at the front desk were very robotic. They had no emotion nor where they pleasant; It was just a check in process for them. Parking is tricky; we paid extra for Valet $75 for the night however if you where to park at the casino, this may be trickier. I didn't see any self-serve park at the hotel.

The room and bathroom was a good size and very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was excellent.

Sometimes there was a long wait for a lift.

The rooms are lovely, and being so close to all the restaurants and cafes, entertainment is amazing.

We arrived to our room and went to use the bathroom. The toilet had drops of dried blood both on the seat and the floor it was quite obvious. The toilet paper had been folded though so we found it strange the room had been made up but that not cleaned was odd. Rang the room attendant line was advised they would get someone to the room asap and would call to let us no. 25 mins later and still waiting I needed the bathroom went down to main reception told the issue they gave us a new room and were really lovely. Our new room was not vaccumed there was paper on the floor next to the table and bed. There were drink marks on the bathroom bench and beside the bed. Things get missed we understand but paying good money we think it reasonable the main things were done. We do the stairclimb at metrapol yearly this is the first year we stayed. We hope to give it another go next year in the hope it was a one off.
