The bedroom was beautiful especially the city view

Booked it mainly for the roof pool which would have been lovely, except it was school holidays and it was jammed with kids and families. Will recheck time of year before booking next time

Finding a filthy towel hanging in the shower…… didn’t touch glasses incase they weren’t cleaned either. I’ve stayed there multiple times in past and always been really really happy but not this time First time the bed was not comfortable.

Location was great as our family went to the football and some of us stayed at south bank for dinner and some drinks at the casino.

It would be good if the parking for crown members was more detailed we followed directions to Metropol crown but it wasn’t the value parking and I had to be redirected by the lovely car parking staff

Having to move rooms because we had a broken bed in our room. But it was handled swiftly, it was just inconvenient to pack up and move but overall the staff handled it well.

Beds were super comfortable. Also very accommodating with an early check in and extending our stay in the same room.

We asked for 2x cereal bowls. Charged $6 just to deliver them to the room. I would of gone down to get them for that! You'd think for the price you pay they could bring up a couple of plates!

Spacious rooms for a family, convenient location within Crown and to access South Melbourne market and Docklands vicinity. Service and staff were lovely. The pool was the highlight, large and exceptional views and lots of seating. Room service food quality was good with generous servings.

Queues to check in were lengthy due to volume of guests, about 20 min wait around 3pm. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, for example cleaning under the beds (which would easily move as they are rollable). The bathrooms tiles and grout look mouldy, sink vanity cracked and handles were loose. There is no bathtub for young children and the shower head has no flexible hose, however the shower pressure is nice and strong for adults!

Our room was not clean. Upon entering the room the toilet had skids and table was sticky with drink marks all over. Then when I showered the children that night I noticed that shampoo and conditioner of the previous occupier had been left showing that the shower had also not been cleaned. Facilities attended the room for inspection and confirmed that the bedding had been changed and were very lovely and apologetic.

The promotion offer to upgrade to another room and the lack of reply from staff, no one was answering calls or enquiries and there was no mention of deposit bonds being required.

It’s a beautiful property. Rooms were lovely and facilities were ideal.

Check in and check out we’re extremely slow. We felt like we were in a herd instead of feeling “special”. I spoke to someone in Reservations who told me that they would leave a little gift in my daughter’s room as we were celebrating her 30th birthday, yet there was nothing.

Good stay at the Crown Metropol. The kids liked the heated rooftop swimming pool. Comfortable beds and great city views from the floor to ceiling windows in the room.

The rooms are starting to get a little dated but it's still a 5 star property so you know what you're paying for when you book the property. The check-in was extremely slow, however the reception staff were offering great customer service to those checking in so you take the good with the bad.

The room was spacious and beautiful, with great amenities, the location to the esplanade was brilliant and we loved the pool and gym facilities. The sauna being tucked away in the change rooms was a little hard to find at first but we would stay again.

The room was lovely, a little outdated. But still nice. I think we paid a lot for what we got. And our friends are going a week later and getting a bigger room but paid half the price. I’m not really sure why. Could’ve been a sale. But still enjoyed ourselves and the staff were so friendly and helpful!

Stayed for 8 nights. Good location along south bank. Very convenient. Many amenities. Short walk across the river to cbd area. Room service was very fast (for top up of room amenities)

Major issues with wifi and 4G. Connection was zero at times for both wifi and 4G and highly unreliable (intermittent) in the hotel rooms. This was really frustrating - ended up going down to the hotel lobby a few times in desperation where the reception was much better. Food around the crown area pricey - need to venture further away for more decent prices. Gets crowded on weekends.

We love staying here for the location and all the things to do in the casino and close by.

Beds are super comfy, staff are friendly and helpful and location is great. Good value for money, we stay here often as a family when we have things to go to in the city.

It was very spacious and very comfortable

We requested the room to be serviced by pressing the button near the door, when we left in the morning, upon returning to the door in the afternoon the room wasn’t serviced. This was very disappointing given the price of the room.

Rooms very comfortable, great facilities including gym and pool. Range and quality of breakfast foods were amazing, I will return to this hotel again because of this. Check in staff quick, efficient, helpful and thorough.

Behind the shower door was a line of mould in the grout but this didn't bother me too much but considering the high standard of the rest of the hotel, I thought you might want to know. I was not approached at all on the first day for tea and/or coffee during breakfast and I made the decision to approach the server on the second as I had waited for 10 minutes without anyone even coming my way.
