The room as absolutely beautiful. It was impeccably clean, smelt amazing, had all the necessities and more. Bathroom was gorgeous and spacious. The valet staff where friendly and helpful as was the room service staff. Be aware, there is also a room service charge on top of the service of drinks/food.

The staff at the front desk were very robotic. They had no emotion nor where they pleasant; It was just a check in process for them. Parking is tricky; we paid extra for Valet $75 for the night however if you where to park at the casino, this may be trickier. I didn't see any self-serve park at the hotel.

The room and bathroom was a good size and very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was excellent.

Sometimes there was a long wait for a lift.

The rooms are lovely, and being so close to all the restaurants and cafes, entertainment is amazing.

We arrived to our room and went to use the bathroom. The toilet had drops of dried blood both on the seat and the floor it was quite obvious. The toilet paper had been folded though so we found it strange the room had been made up but that not cleaned was odd. Rang the room attendant line was advised they would get someone to the room asap and would call to let us no. 25 mins later and still waiting I needed the bathroom went down to main reception told the issue they gave us a new room and were really lovely. Our new room was not vaccumed there was paper on the floor next to the table and bed. There were drink marks on the bathroom bench and beside the bed. Things get missed we understand but paying good money we think it reasonable the main things were done. We do the stairclimb at metrapol yearly this is the first year we stayed. We hope to give it another go next year in the hope it was a one off.

With the resevation through Bookings.com , I still had to stand at the counter , waiting for the Chinese receptionist reading the computer for more than 20 minutes to sort out the booking. The promise of matching the quote $882 by stayforlong , as shown by my Iphone was not kept by Bookings.com. I still had to pay $918 for the same 2 nights He stated that I could have paid less if had had called and booked directly with Crown Metoprol. I learnt something and have lost faith in Bookings.com.

Very disappointing the bathroom sink clogged up each time we used it. Dirty water sitting in sink without draining, was not enjoyable at all. Also the spa on Level 27 was out of use when we went up as it had to be filled and topped up with chlorine . We had to use the pool instead, which I didnt think was warm enough.

It was close to food and entertainment. Bed was comfortable. Room service was quick and the room service staff were really nice. Food was really delicious too. Spent hours having fun in the Crown, the restaurants the alcohol and the casino.

The desk is a bit sticky so needed some proper cleaning. My upgrade wasn’t worth paying extra. I paid for a nicer room and for a city view but got a view of graffiti and a roof top for the parking lot I think🤔 . There was no conditioner or body wash in the dispensers in the shower so I had to use shampoo. Room service brought some up after I showered so it was okay.

We had a wonderful stay at Crown Metropol. The room was spotless and beautifully presented, with comfortable beds and a nice view. The location is perfect, close to everything and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend!

The pool area was a highlight for the kids, but unfortunately during our stay the spa was freezing cold, and we noticed other guests also mentioning it. Hopefully this was just a one-off issue

Incredible pool/spa, and views from that level. Great location, good restaurants within precinct, and close to Southbank- safe stay for kids, secure and everything you need is close by.

Suggested improvements: Modern upgrade may be required eg USB plug ins required for charging devices (rather than PowerPoints); complimentary water, maybe a comb in amenities kit. My child also recommended YouTube on tv.

The beds were comfortable. The pool was nice and a good size with a nice area around it.

The room wasn’t as clean as I expected. The bathroom needed a good scrub, the toilet roll holder was half hanging off. There was a dirty wet face washer hanging over the shower screen when we arrived. An electric toothbrush, plastic bag and a roll of tape under a bed… Buffet breakfast was over priced for what was on offer. Pool was nice but could have been warmer.

Pool smelt - there is carpet and sun lounges which obviously gets damp and so it has that gross foisty damp rank smell. The toilets in a glass box right next to the shower, I love my partner but I don’t need to be able to see him taking a shit. Bed was uncomfortable, the sheets are so crinkley you’re woken up if someone rolls over. No value for money at all, $820 for 2 nights, parking $50, breakfast I think was something like $55 per person which is just ridiculous unless they’re offering gold leaf covered bacon. Pube in the bathroom which wasn’t ours and mould. Bathroom layout doesn’t offer privacy, there’s no walls around it so if someone gets up to use the bathroom and switches a light on it shines into bedroom area, not great when you have a family room. No PowerPoints next to the bed, there were however 4 in the bathroom - not where I want to charge my phone. Check in is super clunky, having to queue for almost 20 minutes - I get it’s a big chain but I’ve never queued to check in before.

Finding a filthy towel hanging in the shower…… didn’t touch glasses incase they weren’t cleaned either. I’ve stayed there multiple times in past and always been really really happy but not this time First time the bed was not comfortable.

Location was great as our family went to the football and some of us stayed at south bank for dinner and some drinks at the casino.

It would be good if the parking for crown members was more detailed we followed directions to Metropol crown but it wasn’t the value parking and I had to be redirected by the lovely car parking staff

Having to move rooms because we had a broken bed in our room. But it was handled swiftly, it was just inconvenient to pack up and move but overall the staff handled it well.

Beds were super comfortable. Also very accommodating with an early check in and extending our stay in the same room.

We asked for 2x cereal bowls. Charged $6 just to deliver them to the room. I would of gone down to get them for that! You'd think for the price you pay they could bring up a couple of plates!

Spacious rooms for a family, convenient location within Crown and to access South Melbourne market and Docklands vicinity. Service and staff were lovely. The pool was the highlight, large and exceptional views and lots of seating. Room service food quality was good with generous servings.

Queues to check in were lengthy due to volume of guests, about 20 min wait around 3pm. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, for example cleaning under the beds (which would easily move as they are rollable). The bathrooms tiles and grout look mouldy, sink vanity cracked and handles were loose. There is no bathtub for young children and the shower head has no flexible hose, however the shower pressure is nice and strong for adults!

Our room was not clean. Upon entering the room the toilet had skids and table was sticky with drink marks all over. Then when I showered the children that night I noticed that shampoo and conditioner of the previous occupier had been left showing that the shower had also not been cleaned. Facilities attended the room for inspection and confirmed that the bedding had been changed and were very lovely and apologetic.
