Bathroom fan didn’t work, minimal PowerPoints, bar on floor 28 closed indefinitely - still advertised as open/functional

Location is amazing! Staff were really good when my daughter and I forgot our card for the room as we were going to the pool, had to walk down in our robes and bathers and they just gave us a new one straight away 😊

The only down side to the room I staying in was I went with a couple of friends and my daughter and there wasn’t much privacy with the bathroom.

The location is why we chose metrapol. We had a concert at Marvel stadium, an easy 20 minute walk. Room service at 11pm was fast and fresh! A little pricey but food was beautiful. Amazing views on the 20th floor. The pool was beautiful and fantastic views.

A few finishes in the room need a clean up, the carpet felt damp, need to be able to control the temperature in each room. Whatever is in the pool has tarnished my rings, they will need to be cleaned. Would recommend taking rings off before swimming. Front desk didn't explain the lifts ( U need to swipe Ur room card to use the lift) so we spent a bit trying to work that out.

In the first room the toilet was smelly. The shower room (in both rooms) was full of water during the showering, the floor design doesn’t allow water to drain quickly, it was like a pool, which is unpleasant. As the results we’ve got some fungus… Besides that, everything else was amazing!

In room dining was 3 times the price of same items you could get in the building. Products not properly stocked, room to sleep 4 only contained 2 robes and products hadn’t been restocked from previous quests.

Convenient location. Blinds on the swimming g pool area were great. Requested close to elevator and it was accommodated which was great as one of us was 1 week out of hospital post surgery.

No two chairs at the same height to sit at to eat together. Windows at the pool on the inside were filthy and could have been cleaner to enjoy the city views.

The beds were the most comfortable beds away from home that I have ever experienced. I will return for the quality of the beds alone! I did not realise that the valet parking was an extra charge so I was a little bit surprised by that additional charge. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much.

I thought the carpets looked like they were overdue for a cleaning.

Everything was great. One day they didn’t clean our room. No other complaints.

Loved the view, the lighting, felt very wholesome and inviting whilst also luxurious. Bluetooth to TV was a cool feature.

The shower and with the open sliding doors. TV was somewhat difficult to manage and couldn't use netflix.

The pool was incredible. In fact the whole level including gym, spa, pool, sunbeds and coffee option was worth all the money spent at this hotel. There is an adults only time at the pool area from 6am-9am which is lovely, quiet and if you're lucky, you'll get a piece of it all to yourselves. The size of the hotel rooms are lovely. We shared a room with our kids aged 11 and 13 in 2 large beds. Very comfortable, lovely coverings and big open windows. Interesting bathroom set up, having the toilet in a separate little closed off room was good however an side gap into the living area from the bathroom was a little odd, but it didn't bother us. It might though, if adults are sharing the room and would prefer a little more privacy. The hotel is attached to the whole Crown centre underneath so everything from eating, coffee, the Casino, bowling, and loads of other activities at an air conditioned walk away is really appealing especially with kids to keep entertained. The Hive restaurant is also a nice spot for breakfast or just grabbing a coffee on the go (or to take up to the pool if there in that quiet early time of the morning) as the coffee doesn't seem to be on at the pool that early. This hotel is one of my favourites, not much to fault, staff so happy to help, hold luggage and let you know via text if you arrive early and wish to check in before the allocated time, they'll let you know.

The only one thing I would like to change is perhaps to upgrade so there's a coffee pod machine in the rooms. No other things to note.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times for staycations and everytime we have been happy. Clean comfortable rooms, nice pool for the kids and location is extremely convenient.

Love the location of the property. The staff are all lovely. Very clean rooms. Will definitely stay again.

The property is slightly dated for the cost. There should be a smart phone connectivity to the tv as most hotels have these days. Disappointed the sky bar is closed. We ordered off the room service and didn’t receive anything. When we called again 45 minutes later they said they didn’t have the item that was ordered.

The check in was absolutely atrocious we had to wait in the valet parking fir way to long just fund that the person in the front counter had stuffed up our booking so it took approximately 2 hours to do

The pool is amazing and the kids love the breakfast buffet :)

This is a fantastic location for a weekend away, with easy access to all Crown amenities, but nice and quiet if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne CBD. A short walk to the river, bars and restaurants or the tram to take you into the CBD. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms nice and dark for sleeping. Pool facility is amazing, the view from level 27 is fantastic and we would stay here primarily for that. The rooms feel like a little bit of luxury!

The Sky Bar on level 28 is not open, there was no indication of this and there were a number of families trying to access this including ourselves. I had to go to reception and ask about it - to be told that it has not been open for 8 months. The signs still indicate that it is open. Pool access hours are until 7pm - which as an adult seems a little early, we like to go for a late night swim once all the kids have gone to bed.

The beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. Also liked how the complimentary shampoo conditioner and body wash was a decent amount.

Shower was terrible. No water pressure and tiny shower head. Staff at check in wasn’t really over friendly. Stayed 3 nights. First night we were DND but after that there was no bed made, no towel change, or rubbish removed. No complimentary water.

The beds were very comfy and the staff were so helpful. Excellent location only a short walk all undercover to Crown .

The valet parking was booked out the Saturday night so that was very disappointing as we had to unload our luggage and then try to find a park. Word of caution get there early on a Saturday as it is extremely hard to get there with so much traffic.
