Lovely Hôtel facing marseille harbor
Very pleasant room. We did not upgrade to balcony, but weather was too cold for sitting outside. We were able to open windows for an amazing harbor view.

We loved our stay with fantastic views of the harbour and nice touches to make us feel at home.
Everyone was very accommodating. The hotel was in a great location and the decor was very striking.
A couple of maintenance issues particularly in the bathrooms.

Artsy beautiful four star hotel at a reasonable rate
Friendly staff, beautiful decor throughout the hotel. The junior suite was quite spacious. Nice to see bath robes and slippers provided without having to call for them. This was one of the only hotels I've seen in recent years with a completely stocked mini bar. Also in the lobby there's an "honor bar" cart where you can pour your own drinks, take some snacks and just sign for it. Very interesting looking gourmet style restaurant, we'll hit it next time.

Delightful in every way.
The location couldn't have been more convenient - we were within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to see and the view from our room was the best view in the whole city.
Restaurant associated with the hotel didn't serve dinner on Xmas Day only lunch.

Perfect Marseille location
The hotel is fabulous! Loved the design and we enjoyed a brilliant view from the room from one of the top floors. The location is perfect and the staff were super relaxed which we liked.

Lovely hotel, with amazing views
The hotel is in an unbeatable location, overlooking the Vieux Port - the views are wonderful! It may get a little busy during the day due to foot traffic but not to the point of becoming an issue. The hotel is clean, with a chic decorating style and lovely staff. The only small suggestion we would have relates to the comfort of the bed (mattress loses its shape/firmness and collapses as soon as sitting down. It requires attention/replacement.

Beautiful hotel with personality. Would highly recommend it.
We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided. Lots of options and the fresh orange juice was a real bonus. The staff at breakfast were exceptional and so helpful. Our room was spacious with a stunning view. The reception staff were also very welcoming and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our two nights stay and will definitely return.

If you are staying in Vieux Port in Marseille, we highly recommend La Residence!
The location and view from our room ( both times) was gorgeous! The small balcony was a great place to sit and have a glass of wine and enjoy the view of beautiful Notre Dame. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location and awesome customer service with a nice room and great view of the port.
The staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The view of the port from the room was really nice.
The shower situation is weird. There's no enclosure to the shower so the whole bathroom is one big shower room effectively. Water gets everywhere when you shower including the toilet area.

Perfect location. Great room with a large sitting area. Comfortable bed. Coffee in the room. Large bathroom.
The front desk staff was not friendly. Didn’t offer to help. Often couldn’t answer tourist questions.
