Modern rooms in a gloriously restored old town house. Large breakfast choice. Nice spa area. Well located. Impromptu concert evening was fantastic.

Staff was very helpful and nice, the hotel room was a good size and the hotel was very nicely decorated. I wish we had more time for breakfast, because there was a huge selection of different freshly baked cakes/pastry atc., but we had to leave very early to catch a flight.

Marseille itself, it is quite a dirty city with many strange individuals.

The hotel is perfectly situated, being only a 5 minute walk from Vieux Port. It is a quiet oasis with a wonderful Spa/pool area and large, modern and well equipped rooms. The staff are what makes this hotel special. Mathieu and the team were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet boutique hotel close to the town.

C2 is exceptional and one of my favourite hotels in our trip. The room and facilities are excellent. It is small boutique hotel, exceptional finishes, fantastic staff and located an easy 5 minutes stroll to the hectic harbour and shopping precinct. It is a haven and we lived it.

Fabulous hotel and place to stay. Great atmosphere and cozy, you feel like at home. Very clean and comfortable. Rooms of exceptional standing and decoration. Staff is awesome, caring and friendly from reception to bar teams. You feel you are being taken care of. Breakfast simply royal and excellent. If you are looking for a comfortable and unique place to stay in Marseille and central to everything, do not hesitate. Thank you to the whole hotel team!

The beds were so comfortable and the staff were so kind and helpful. I was surprised how amazing the breakfast buffet was.

Excellent service from the hotel. Beautiful inside and so relaxing!! A particular thanks goes to the concierge Mathieu who organised so much for us for our stay to booking restaurant meals for us and a boat trip to the Calanques! Will definitely be staying here again!

The hotels jacuzzi and steam room were not working during our stay which was unfortunate but the hotel upgraded us to a Prestige room to compensate for this which didn't disappoint but I'd suggest that the hotel does ensure that all facilities are working so as to fulfil all customers expectations.

Lovely boutique hotel, classic building with modern facilities and beautiful interior. Good location to Cantini museum and boutiques as well as the old port. Most of all wonderful staff, very helpful and kind! Will definitely be our hotel of choice in Marseilles time and again.

This architecturally restored mansion is absolutely beautiful. The on point mix of old and new result in a truly exceptional small hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. In addition, the staff were very helpful and friendly. This hotel is a real gem.

I never normally write reviews but feel compelled to write about C2. The hotel is excellent, rooms are great, beds are fantastically comfortable, location is a 5 minute walk from the Vieux Port area and the breakfast was just what we needed. But as with any business it's the people who make it and the team at C2 are exceptional. Incredibly helpful before we arrived and throughout our stay. They were in contact regularly to check if there was anything we needed before we arrived and they helped with restaurant bookings and offered great advice on the best way to travel around Marseille when we were there. Faultless.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel and would absolutely stay again if I am ever in Marseille. The location was great and walking distance to the pier and lots of shops and restaurants without being directly in the crowds of people. I experienced phenomenal service from everyone I encountered. I received an email when I first booked, which was unexpected and a nice touch. Housekeeping would come around multiple times a day to ask if you needed anything, which was just that extra bit of service that made you feel taken care of. The water in the mini fridge being restocked with water all the time was much appreciated. I did get a massage at the spa- the normal masseuse was on vacation but they had someone on call if you wanted a massage. The infused water and tea always available was nice. I was able to enjoy the outdoor bar area and had delicious craft cocktails made by the bartenders. The beds were super comfy and large and I slept so great- I actually booked this trip when I was staying at an Airbnb out of the country with a horrible bed and reading about the comfortable beds was one of the reasons I chose this hotel and I was not disappointed. I am glad I chose a smaller/boutique hotel because it really added to the calming, vacation/holiday feel. I did use the pool/hot tub and I will say the pool is small and more for standing than swimming as it is not very deep- that is not a criticism, just an fyi. Overall, I had a great time here and recommend it to others.

The only downside I experienced was the shower did seem to get water everywhere in the bathroom which I can't imagine is good for the rooms or for housekeeping to deal with. That said, I have experienced the same type of scenario at multiple hotels/airbnbs in Europe (I'm from the US) so that may not be something out of the ordinary and just something I am not used to.

One of the top three boutique hotels we’ve stayed at around the world. From reservations of our two rooms to greeting and checkin we felt welcome and appreciated. The on-site spa was a nice bonus after a hot day of touring Marseille. The bar and courtyard terrasse are beautiful. The live jazz wednesdays brought the whole vibe together. The center piece of the hotel, the staircase, is stunning. And oh yeah the rooms were serene, zen and very comfortable.

The only thing I could criticize is the price of the breakfast buffet. At 28€ pp it was prohibitively expensive for a family of four when we could easily cross the street for great pastries and coffee for the cost of 1 person at the buffet.

Gorgeous. Magnific. Чудесно. Absolutely loved this place. Above my expectations from design to atmosphere. Will come back for sure.
