Palma Riad feels like stepping into a secret oasis tucked away in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. Behind a discreet door on a quiet old-town street, this adults-only boutique hotel channels the spirit of a Moroccan riad. Think lush courtyard, whispering fountains, and shadowy archways that instantly calm you.
The design, crafted by Barcelona’s Pablo Peyra, is rich and moody: deep velvet fabrics, vintage lamps, carved wood, and precious antiques mingle with soft lighting to conjure a dreamy, romantic atmosphere.
Each of the 11 suites is totally unique, with thoughtful touches like oversized bathtubs, double showers, hammam-style bathrooms, and even fireplaces. There’s a standout 70 m² Master Suite with a huge bed, a living room, and a bathtub big enough for four.
The hotel also has a lovely terrace suite with a cave-style bathtub and relaxing views.
When the sun sets, the courtyard really comes alive. Candles are lit, the bar fills with a laid-back but stylish crowd, and you can enjoy cocktails or a dinner of Mediterranean–North African fusion cuisine.
