No coffee machine in the room

The resort was SO beautiful and we enjoyed every moment we spent there. The staff went above and beyond to help make it equally enjoyable to our toddler, from providing a stuffed animal at checkin to crayons during meals.

Staff was too directed by computers and hand helds that were slow or malfuncioning or they weren't trained on how to use it. Could have delivered a better service without the technology and just listen to what guest wants.

Breakfast was limited selection. Unfortunately, they have an excuse- because of coving…….

I understand $50 resort fee each day, but plus $50 for self parking for each day?, I am sorry, that’s a highway robbery!

Location, location and location. Very clean. Very helpful staff.

We loved everything. The whole mini vacation was a success & the view couldn’t have been any better. Once again the wife loved the whole experience.

We went for a one night stay on a Friday we just didn’t get a chance to do any activities due to all activities where either in a Saturday or Sunday.

Had no idea there is a resort like this in LA. It felt like we were at some Hawaiian resort - so beautiful and would love to come again.

The rooms had amazing views and the property in general had beautiful views!

We ate at Catalina Kitchen and Nelson’s. The service was very slow and there weren’t too many meal options. Our server at Catalina Kitchen was not very attentive or friendly.

I was exciting when I saw photos of the facility posted on website. But when I arrived on September 7 and I was a little disappointed. The room I stayed table was dusty and bathroom was not fresh and I can’t even find a notepad and pen for the guest to use. Breakfast at Catalina restaurant is over price.

Clean; comfortable beds; nice spa; beautiful walks along the ocean.

Service was a total hit or miss and always slow. Food outrageously priced and nothing exceptional about its quality. Last but not least, paid for a room with an ocean view and got a tiny partial glance of the water, blocked by a huge cluster of vegetation. Went to the lobby to request a change and was dismissed coldly by a “no, this is the standard at this hotel”.

Extremely overpriced. Service is 3 star, not 5 stars as claimed. We had food poisoning. Valet parking left our car opened - which is extremely unprofessional

The location is gorgeous.

We had Ants in our bed and all over the room.

Food, pools and resort was lovely.

Our room was 4228. We had an ant infestation all over the room. We woke up and ants were all over our clothes, our bags and in the bathroom as well. We had to move rooms to 5203. Rest of the trip we felt like we were itching even when sleeping from the experience. We did not get much sleep rest of our stay.

Staff has been reduced but prices have not and reservations are needed well in advance of your stay. No walk up dining or spa service.

Beautiful location

The room was small and due to staff shortage we have no service to our room. We had to make our own beds, reuse towels and no garbage pickup. Had to go down to concierge for shampoo, lotions etc. Phone calls to front desk, activity centers were never picked up.

The property is beautiful on a cliff overlooking the ocean very well manicured wonderful trails fantastic restaurants and great staff. There’s a slide for the kids (and adults) in the pool and you have to have a spa service unfortunately it’s pricey but the relaxation room you look at the ocean through open glass French doors off a balcony and that view made it worth it for me. plus the pool servers were great! Robert and Jorge.

unfortunately the only room that we could “afford”was a double with two full-size beds just off the lobby. We still had a great ocean view but with all the weddings it was very loud and full sized beds were just hard and small for the 4 of us.
