great location close to the freeway. Easy access in and out of property . Safe clean neighborhood. Perfect place to stay for an event at BMO stadium.

A little disappointed that a room was not available when we tried to check in a few hours early, but that is understandable and we knew it was a possibility. We did arrive around 11:30am for a 4 pm check in. A room was ultimately available by 2:30pm but by that time we were already at BMO for a concert that evening.

Great location, near Crypto and walking distance to Metro.

I called to ask the price including the security deposit. Person on the phone told me there were no extra fees. I explained last time there was a security deposit upon check in and no was again told my room didn’t have a security deposit. I was also sent an email stating the price. So when checking in, they collected a security deposit. It’s upsetting when asking for a price to not have any surprises and I’m not sure where the miscommunication came from but it’s disappointing

Beautiful decor, nice-sized room, clean, room was pretty quiet despite being across from the bar / lounge! Loved the fireplace in the lounge. Great location near Crypto arena, friendly staff, healthy snacks in the self-serve lobby snack area.

Public spaces were way too cold for winter weather. Heater in our room made interesting noises all night - whistling, gurgling, knocking. Dinner in restaurant way too salty. Bathroom lighting did not fall in right spots for styling my hair or putting on makeup, weakest hotel hair dryer I ever used. Bed was too hard for us - others like the harder mattress.

Room service came late. SERVER said he was only one carrying trays on a busy morning

The location was great, everyday a room service, room was large and clean, beds were good as well. Bathroom was large and clean.

Breakfast not included and it was very expensive to buy separately, downtown LA was terrible , full of homeless drug addicts, though the hotel is close to downtown, it is far enough not to be bothered by homeless

it is not a good location it is ok if you have work in that area or if the room is at a great price. I did not like that I was charged additionally to the taxes paid through booking. I have paid 14% tax. US$30 service charge per night. 0.20% city tax. 2% city tax. In addition to these fees, I also paid a facility fee of around $30 per night. These were paid separately and were deducted from the deposit that was left as a guarantee without informing me and without sending me a receipt by email for the amount withheld. They simply took $60 out of the $200 left as a guarantee.. I don't understand why I pay $30 per night service charge and another $30 per night facility fee…

It was a lovely property, the location was very easy to get to. The room is beautiful and a very nice bathroom. The staff was very kind.

The location was great! A short lift ride to old town, BMO stadium, Santa Monica & Venice beaches. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The only negative was the food which was pretty awful and extremely overpriced as were the drinks.

The restaurant had very poor service and we were charged 20% gratuity for only 4 people. The food was delicious though.

Nobody helped with the bags upon our arrival. Hallway carpets were a bit dirty. A bit scary to go around at night in the vicinity of the hotel. Fitness center was a bit small.

It had a unique decor, not just the same old beige everywhere. The restaurant was a good one. The first morning I heard drilling at 9 AM, which is OK for a lot of people but too early for me so they moved me to another room which was really nice, and then upgrade at that.

There was one day that I came back a little too early ~2:08 pm and they had not cleaned our room, so I made lot of effort to get it cleaned. I tried to leave again on time so they can get to it. I made 7-8 calls or contacts (called 3 times on the room phone, which seemed to not be working, talked to a couple of the housekeepers, but they were not assigned to my room so that’s fine, then call a couple of times on my cell phone), left again, and they had not cleaned it again. The person I spoke to the first time got the housekeeper schedule wrong so I didn’t rush back out the door the first time, even though I could have. So later I was informed that the housekeepers left. It was kind of upsetting, but they did bring me some towels, and that did help.

Flooring in hotel room near bathroom were black in color due to wood rooting from bathroom water. Additionally floors in hotel were not mopped regularly so it is not advisable to walk barefoot in rooms.

I loved the art deco feel of the hotel. I felt safe and secure. We only stopped for a night in our travels across the country. The price we got thru booking.com made it acceptable 50$ for valet parking but everything is expensive in LA. Everyone working at the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again.

The room was great. Location was good. The front desk team were terrific, very accommodating.

Food was a bit expensive for the quality. The lack of coffee after 9AM was concerning. The front/side of the hotel was the worst part of the stay. Drugs being used/sold was alarming, didn't feel safe walking around outside the property.

The room and space was gorgeous!

Staff was below expectations. Was very disappointed with the level of the staff reception. This was very poor. Emphasis very poor and disappointing. I was totally disappointed with staff i met, when at reception for check in. Hotel should really vet staff. Thats first port of interaction. Not sure will ever stay in this hotel again.

Some demolitions across the road meant it was noisy in the mornings with big machines breaking up rocks and excavating.
