Excellent upper class property,a real 5 star luxury hotel. Large,elegant room,everything was working and cleabn.We were upgraded,which is always a plus. Very aristocratic and opulent environment,amazing location excactly between Mayfair and Knightsbridge. Very nice Cigar lounge on the lower ground floor.

Although breakfast was offered inside a very beautiful room,the strickt a la carte system without any kind of buffet,always makes it look “poor” and limited.A combination of a la carte and some buffet always works better for the customer. We had a major disturbance during our stay,which in effect ruined everything else.We were “hearing” the room next to us,which means we could hear the neighbors TV and them talking,till 02:00 in the morning.The noise was coming through the air duct right over our bed.We could not sleep till 02:00 in the morning when the neighbors went to sleep.The problem was that they did not shout or anything! It was normal talking and room noise,but when you hear the next room at this level of noise in your room….that is a problem! When you pay 1.000£ + per night,you expect privacy and to be able to rest and sleep.Everything else comes after that. This was really unacceptable and this experience will deter us from ever booking again in this very nice hotel,out of fear that this may happen again.

The room had a weird pipe noise that kept going off at 1:30 am. I told the front desk the first night and showed them videos of the noise. They didn’t fix anything and it went off the next night too. It was an awful experience

- Hidden (service) costs on you bill upon check-out. So make sure to double check your invoice before signing.

It has a real royal feel to it, the staff are so accommodating and are great with children.

The only thing is the service can be a tad slow at times, and the iPads in the rooms were broken due to a technical fault. The curtains are controlled on the iPad as they’re are electrical so it was a real struggle to pull them shut.

Amazing experience and stay at The Lanesborough. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond. We needed a specific type of energy gel for the London Marathon. The concierge team found the exact gels and delivered them to us in 20 minutes. The best and most exclusive hotel in London. We will 100% return to stay again.

Stayed at the hotel for my daughter’s 18th birthday. The staff were extremely attentive including accommodating our late reservation request for dinner and providing late checkout. Fantastic!
